The mattress and pillows were a little soft for my partner

Beautiful building in a quiet location. We visited for a wedding, so sadly didn’t get to use the restaurant. Stayed in a garden suite which was nice and had a private courtyard. Staff were very friendly and although the room wasn’t made up when we arrived long before check in, they allowed us to use it to store luggage and get ready.
Only complaint would be the breakfast menu seemed to be lacking a vegan breakfast. With one of us being mostly PB and the other with an egg allergy, we were a little restricted with options.

Sehr zuvorkommender Service, leckeres Essen und ruhige Lage. Romantische Unterkunft in den wunderschönen Cotswolds.

Convenient for our purpose
I liked it a lot but my partner 6”3 tall and we had a loft room and it wasn’t high enough to the ceiling for him.

The staff were all fantastic. Room very clean, bed was comfortable as anything. Breakfast every morning by the open fireplaces was brilliant. Couldn't fault this place and would certainly stay there again!
Nothing to improve upon. Although I'm glad we followed the advice of the other travellers who reviewed the place and suggested to request a room in the separate building, not above the pub. I'm sure it wouldn't matter to much but we stayed over NYE :)

Abbiamo apprezzato la pulizia, la posizione (fuori dalle rotte più turistiche e quindi molto autentica) e la colazione ricca e squisita. Lo consiglierei!

We truly enjoyed our stay at the New Inn and especially appreciated the delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean. The blackout curtains were great for anyone that wanted to sleep a little later. We would definitely book a room here again if/when in the area. Being able to have dinner at the New Inn Pub is a bonus. We visited during the Christmas holidays, which was wonderful, but I imagine it is quite a nice place to sit outside on a summer's evening. We hope to be back soon!

Breakfast was fine
I loved the quirkiness of the hotel. The evening meal was really really lovely
The staff members were excellant
The room was far to hot and i did ask about turning the heat down but to no real proper satisfaction
Everything was good

Charming Inn set in a picturesque small village about 20 mins from Cirencester. The bar and restaurant were very cosy and typical of the kind of Cotswold inn you’d like to stay at. Our room was a large double and the size was good. The car park was also a good size and we always found a parking space. The breakfast was good.
The en-suite was adequate and had a shower but was slightly let down by the lack of finish. On the first night we ate at the restaurant but wished we hadn’t because the menu was rather limited and the food not great!

Food was good, but limited evening menu.
Breakfast very good
Very hot and no air conditioning.
Very noisy in the pub garden, so unable to open window in the heat.

Amazing place, the room, the pub, the food and the staff were all first class, lovely atmosphere and all in a beautiful setting.
Limited menu but food on offer was lovely as was breakfast.

Staff helpful and food good.

only reason I didn’t give a 10 is that the mattress was very very soft in the room we were in.

The peace and tranquility, the location, the price I paid, they had a great selection of local ales and gins. Staff were friendly.
On arrival the sign for the car park said full! I had to park on the road outside to start with, I asked about the parking and was told they hadn't changed it from earlier! One of the staff members went a d checked and said there was plenty of room, so I then parked in there, the check in was a bit fumbled (we arrived at the busy evening meal stages) the hotel was nice but not a 5 star as suggested.

Really beautiful Cotswolds stone buildings. lovely room with its own terrace. Furnishings & decor excellent standard.
The only slight disappointment was the limited menu especially for a “foodie” destination. Breakfast good though

Cleaning around shower cubicle could have been better

The village and the location of the new inn was perfect and beautiful. We loved the food. We also had dinner which was delicious and the prices are reasonable.

We loved the location. We took a scenic stroll to a nearby pub for some dinner. It's so beautiful round there you can find enjoyment in just taking a walk.
Room was a bit grubby. Stains in the bedroom and bathroom. Some bathroom fixtures were a bit loose. The room was a bit stuffy so we had to sleep with the window open, which became a nuisance due to the noise coming in from the car park (someone was honking their horn past 12am for a good while, not the Inn's fault, but didn't hear anyone go to stop it). We're vegan and there was no option on the breakfast menu, so we had to ask for the breakfast to come minus meat and eggs, so they gave us exactly that, but with the same portions you'd get with the normal breakfast. Would've maybe expected some extra means at least.

the bed was so comfortable. really soft. It was in a really central place so you could travel all over Cotswold from there.
there is no door on the toilet. I love my husband but he does not need to hear me going to the toilet.
The shower was hit and miss with both temperature and power.
there were some cobwebs above my bed.
the breakfast has the potential to be good. However, the bread that is used is not good for that meal. One mushroom ?? really ?? the tea is also awful. For the bread maybe give people an option.
also when we returned from being out trying to get our room key was a bit of a nightmare

Food was great. All cooked and presented excellently. Really great burgers, both meat and vegetarian options. The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the room was warm. Every thing you would need including iron, ironing board, hairdryer, coffee machine and drink making.
There was some small areas in the room that could do with being addressed. This is just cosmetic, some cracks, marks on walls. The bathroom had a an area of wood around the shower that needed redecoration. But it did not spoil our stay, it would just be good for this to be done.

Beautiful property in lovely location.
Helpful friendly staff.
Everything was delightful … breakfast was delicious … maybe one extra staff member would have made it a little quicker.
