A lovely stay in accommodation that was very different from the standard hotel. Breakfast and accommodation were excellent
Had to watch my head on some low beams

Julia is a warm and welcoming host. The house dates from the 1600s so reflects that with floors being uneven and ceilings low in places. It is beautifully and interestingly decorated which added to our enjoyment of the property. We had a lovely comfortable bed and well equipped large bathroom. The home baked treats we found in our room were a nice welcoming extra. Breakfast was excellent. Definitely wish to return.
Just one thing - it would have been nice if having been served breakfast we could have been checked in on and asked if all was fine and if we wanted more toast.

Great small cozy B&B (But good sized rooms). Owner very friendly and helpful, comfortable bed, everything very welcoming and as good as hoped for - will definitely use again when in the area.

The breakfast was amazing as was the room. Very quiet and very comfortable.
Could have done with a slip mat for the bath when using the shower.

Everything! My room was gorgeous, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Julia is a wonderful host and not only did she cater for me as a vegan for breakfast, she also put vegan snacks in my room. She is lovely and friendly without being intrusive, a perfect balance! I will definitely return!
Leaving, wish I could have stayed longer!

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfy (especially the bed). Some great extra touches like the coffee machine, cold water and milk in the fridge for us, and even some complementary snacks. Breakfast was superb too. The owner is lovely and made us feel very welcome. Shame we only stayed the one night!

Really comfy and lovely characterful property. Excellent hosts.

Really lovely place to stay. We have family that live in the village so it was a great location for us.
We stayed with our child and it was a very spacious room for a travel cot. Breakfast was lovely and the owner is so welcoming.

This place was amazing. Our host Julia was so welcoming . Our room was so comfortable, such a comfy bed. Lots of extras, coffee maker, little cakes and biscuits. I loved the bathroom, roll top bath and every imaginable toiletries. We booked this at the last minute to attend the Lincoln Christmas Market and wished we had lmore time to stay but will definitely make this the place to visit again. Breakfast was excellent i especially loved the fresh fruit and yogart. Full english was tasty and hot, very good ingredients.
I dont think you could improve it more, some people may not like the quirkiness of the house but we loved it.

Beautiful Home, lots of interest, gracious, warm and welcoming host. Clean and very comfortable, excellent breakfast.
Honestly nothing really - they only minor improvement I could suggest would be a new shower head

A superbly maintained old property in a quiet part of a village near Lincoln, spotlessly clean, comfortable and full of interesting items. Spacious and well appointed bedroom. The host, Julia, is friendly and welcoming and we felt very much 'at home'.

Lovely home, warm welcome by charming host, nice spacious room with en-suite, lovely decor. Excellent breakfast.
Cant fault it

Breakfast was most enjoyable, fruit was fresh and freshly prepared. House is an interesting architectural farm building, say 18th century, very low ceilings and doorways, anyone over 175cms will find it a challenge to avoid knocking ones head. Lots of local walks and two pubs with good beers and reasonable food within easy walking distance.
This is a difficult question. Bathroom is cramped and the shower is within the bath. In my opinion the price is high as the facilities are meagre, and cars have to be parked on a public road ( not too busy). It's a quaint farm house in a village, built when we humans were not much more than 160cms tall.

Julia, our host, was very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was one of the best B & Bs we have ever stayed in. We were the only guests staying at the time so had the lounge and dining room to ourselves, which was a bonus. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. The TV in the lounge is streaming services only, so don't forget your passwords!
There are two pubs in the village which both serve food, The Turks Head and the Butcher and Beast, but from our experience it would pay to plan ahead and book. The only slightly adverse comment would be that the hot water pressure to the shower could be better, but it's an old house, so perhaps is to be expected. It's certainly not going to spoil your stay though! I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the surrounding area more.
Nothing.

Warm friendly welcome before entering this beautiful house, full of quirky luxuries.
Our room was lovely and spacious with a super comfy bed. Bathroom was large and well stocked for pampering.
Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it!!
Sadly only here for one night, could happily have stayed for longer.
Everything was perfect.
