A stone mountain hotel with cosy authentic atmosphere. Very quiet and peaceful with nice pool and areas to relax. We love the lounge!

Great location, very quiet. Easy access to beautiful walks through the forest. Old ski lodge style! Comfortable lounge to socialise. Excellent breakfast buffet! Good parking.
Bar drinks are a bit expensive. No restaurant. Not many restaurants in area are open locally in July.
Bathrooms need renovating, my shower was difficult to get into (room 101)

Friendly staff, very good room with kids - spacious and comfortable, VERY convenient parking near the ski lift, the hotel is very convenient for check in and check out - although you have to stick to the times, you can leave your bags there and even use the gym shower once you have checked out.
The decor is dated and a bit tatty in the rooms, although everything felt clean

Dog friendly, they have little beds for dogs. The bar area is very lovely, and there is a children's play area. It's a very quaint hotel, and with better paid and motivated staff would easily become exceptional. It's a little far from the ski area in that you do need a car, but its a short drive (5 minutes). They have vegan milk, which is nice.
Staff will close the bar while you sit there, reading, with a full glass of wine, an hour early. I was quite disappointed by this. I guess the staff are overworked and underpaid, and it's a shame to support hotel operators who work this way. The rooms radiate noise from the rooms above. You do need a car to get anywhere. Breakfast is meat focused and simple fare.

The staff is great. They make you feel at home at all times.
The buffet breakfast was very good.
The overall style and design of the place is the classic "wood and stone" mountain building... That gives a special atmosphere to the main areas.
The first room needed better soundproofing.
(I got moved to a different room and problem solved. Again, great staff)

Hotel must be updated.

The Hotel was built in the 1930s and it is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect set for a movie. All went well from the view to the mattress. Love it!
Well, all was good. Maybe the breakfast could be better with fresh juice... 😉

Very clean, great service at the reception and the bar, helpful and kind.
They cancelled 2 nights without charging me as I had to leave with 2 days in advance.
Very poor Wi-Fi and bad phone connection. Breakfast very basic. Very noisy hotel, very small room and beds.
No restaurant in the hotel even if they have a few within a range of a few km.

Breakfast was really good, variety, choices all good.
I liked te old aspect of this hotel. Very nice authentic vintage wooden piste hotel. It was also great as not full of noisy clients, like the nearest the piste ones. I could rest well. Great breakfast.
No signals indicating where the hotel is.At all. Fir a hotel hidden in between private residencies on the skirts of the mountain away from piste is really bad nit to sign post it.
Our room was having all-sorts of patchy refurbished, areas, all looking weird, not in tone with the hotel style. Mix match of old and new spare pieces of furniture, cheap bathroom cabinet new and totally not according to the hotel epoque was getting destroyed swelling water from leaking new bath mampara. We had to use several towels to keep te water away and in control after showering. Staff apologised, but this leak was really annoying, embarassing and will destroy de building if clients leave it as such. This place needs a good hand refurbishing the infraatructure well ...it is such a nice piece of history not to be unprofrssionally patched like this.

There's a lot to like here! The breakfast was excellent, and they are taking Covid very seriously. Great for kids-nice small area with play equipment and an awesome clean pool with a fun waterslide. If you are heading to La Molina Ski area (we took the tram up and hiked around up there during the summer), the location is great. Other guests were super friendly.
Everything is a bit older and run down. The carpets could use replaced. If you are an English speaker, you may have some troubles communicating with the staff. This is a dog friendly hotel, and there were lots of dogs. We didn't mind this but if you don't like pets, this one isn't for you.
