Beliggenhed med fantastisk udsigt over Gardasøen. Dejlige værelser med altan mod søen. Helt speciel atmosfære. Service i topklasse. Dejlig pool. God restaurant. Privat parkering med mulighed for parkering. Tæt på lidoen i Salo.

Magnifique hôtel, personnel disponible et souriant. Situation pratique et proche centre ville à pied. Chambres raffinées et ultra confortables.
Excellent restaurant.
Hélas la circulation dense et bruyante de la route juste devant l’hôtel gâche le plaisir de profiter de la piscine.

Beautiful hotel with lots of character, one of the best in Salo! There are some nice cosy sitting areas, both inside and outside. Breakfast was served on the terrace with stunning views of the lake. Plenty of fruits, yogurt, cheese, bread and cold meats. Eggs can be made to order. Staff are very nice, polite and helpful.
For breakfast I would have preferred a little more choice of hot food, like vegetables or beans etc. Also a little disappointed to have one small bottle of water in the room. I know we can buy more, but most hotels have 2 complimentary bottles of water as standard.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this beautiful, historic hotel in Lake Guarda. The service was impeccable; everyone who worked there struck the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness.
We loved the food at the restaurant, and the dining room was magnificent with its high ceilings and frescoes.
The lovely pool with charming gardens is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon enjoying a prosecco overlooking the Lake.
The location was excellent, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops.
There’s a road in front of the property, and it was a bit if a walk to get to the beach area to swim.

Hotel Laurin is so good in so many ways - the location, service, attention to detail, food quality and decor are all incredible. All the staff were so helpful and attentive. Everything was so clean and presentable. Our recent trip was amazing largely because of this amazing hotel!

Our second time here was a little compromising. On booking there is no information that some rooms are reconstructed with a modern design that one can find in every cold standard modern resort. We choose places such as the hotel Laurin due to its historic value so we were surprised when we discovered that the superior room we booked had modern design and we therefore found it inferior. The room also had a shared terrace which was a downgrade to us too.
We were offered a junior suite as compensation. Once we entered the junior suite we found out it has modern design too. We then realized we had to express our wish for a classical room. After that we were told by the receptionist that the hotel went through reconstruction and only some rooms stayed authentic. After that, at last, we were given a historic room that on booking costs less than what we paid for a superior room. We therefore ended up paying more on booking. The staff at the reception was very active in solving our problem and was very professional. We appreciated that. This situation could have been avoided if there was more accurate and transparent information provided on booking.
We could not eat in the hotel's restaurant as it was fully booked. We were advised to go to a different restaurant. In our previous accommodation the hotel provided tables as a priority for their guests. The Laurin hotel does not, which is a pity. We still think that this is a wonderful place to stay in but the modern reconstruction destroyed the place and there is definitely a space to improve to attract demanding clients.

The staff at this hotel are wonderful - kind, welcoming, attentive, just a joy. The restaurant is excellent and the chef is happy to go off-menu if asked. Eating on the terrace, looking out over the lake was magical. The room was beautifully modernised, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent.

This hotel is fabulous! The location is perfect and walkable to many restaurants and activities. The room and view were beautiful. We had breakfast at the hotel, dined at the restaurant and drinks/pool snacks! Everything we ordered was delicious.
The only thing that could have been improved was the bed. It could have been more comfortable. It was firm without a lot of padding. We stayed in one of the original rooms. The others rooms may have better beds as they have been remodeled.
