An absolute Gem!!! family run, peaceful and perfect location

great location, easy parking and very friendly. They love dogs and were kind enough to watch over mine for a bit when it was too hot outside to keep him with me.

Just right after a 300 mile drive. Comfortable and relaxing.

The hostess was extra special providing a warm welcome. The room's added extras, sewing kit, shoe cleaning and other bits and pieces, but the best for me was the 'make-up removal kit', a first for me, especially as I do not use the stuff. Oh yes, breakfast, superb.

A great find, all you could wish for at a very reasonable price

A delightful place to stay, very comfortable and a good standard. The bed was extremely comfortable which is unusual! The hosts were lovely and breakfast was fantastic.

Excellent B& B. with amenable owners and staff.

A lift would have been good.. The bed cover was a bit awkward. Too many toiletries on surfaces.

it felt clean excellent choice of condiments front lounge parking

steep stairs very noisy shower next door at 10.30pm highly starched sheets which made me cough… but I’m allergic to loads of things

The b&b was in a great location. It was very clean, comptable bed and pillows. Breakfast was great such a lot to choose from. Would have no hesitation in going back. Had a great weekend thankyou.

The only dislike was the shower not enough POWER from it.

Very good

Good size room and en-suite both modern, clean and well equipped. Helpful staff. Bottle of water, biscuits and chocolate bar with the wide range of hot drinks in the room. Very good breakfast included

Lovely B&B with a friendly welcome & well 'provisioned' rooms.

Large well provisioned room (free toiletries, water, biscuits & nice bar of chocolate & very good selection of quality teas, coffees & herbal drink) friendly welcome, flexible over me having breakfast a little earlier than usual. Highly recommend.

A comfortable stay in a good location close to the centre and all amenities

We had a very comfortable stay at The Chudleigh. The room was very clean, comfortable and a good size. The breakfast was excellent - very high quality food and lovely service. There were lots of small extra touches that really made a difference.

just the best

the property was clean and spacious the bed was really comfy . shower lovely and hot and powerful . we had coffee tea biscuits etc and water by our beds. the breakfast was so fresh and absolutely amazing . I am a vegan and they sorted me out to . all varieties of spread for your toast cereal juices and the best scrambled Egg ( my partner said ) . the staff were friendly chatty and couldn’t do enough for you . it was so close to the sea which was lovely

The Chudleigh was ok but we wouldn’t stay again. Overpriced

Our hosts were lovely, very comfortable bed, great location

Room was tatty, poached eggs weren’t runny and I believe the mushrooms were tinned, the shower head was grubby and sprayed backwards out of the bottom and thick dust on top of the headboard

Central location, good food, wonderful staff

Rooms were very clean and came with all the usual comforts and then some. Owners were very pleasant, chatty and made you feel at home. Great location to town centre. Lovely breakfast.
