Amazing breakfast full of choice. Nice spa area. Very comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Great location.
the view in the rooms located in the new building (chalet spa), overlooking a pile of snow (children ski garden) while the photos on the site show a beautiful view...

We loved the food in the restaurant and the views from our balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
It would be good to explain how the meals in the restaurant work upon arrival. We were assigned our own table for the duration of our stay and the half board dinner is amazing value, partially served and partially buffet most evenings but this process wasn't clear to us initially. We also weren't aware what dinner would include so didn't book half board until we'd already been in the hotel a couple of days. Now that we know we would definitely book half board next time. Events were posted in the entrance hall but in Austrian only and although I speak some I couldn't always understand the signs. This was a little off-putting when it was at the entrance to the bar/restaurant because I wasn't sure if it was saying we couldn't enter.

The property is very conveniently located on the slopes of Oberlech for ski in and ski out access. large and bright rooms with exceptionally nice decor. beautiful and big spa with plenty of relaxation options. The food is great and menu is very diverse. WiFi is excellent in every place and room at the hotel.

Breakfast and multiple course dinner are beyond amazing. Lots of vegetables and meat for you to choose from. Sauna facilities, jacuzzi and relaxing room will help you to relax after the intense day of skiing. We definitely plan to come back next year to this Alpine paradise.
Too many stairs to get to the room, but it was just because of my sore legs.

Spa and lovely bar and evening meal.
Spa should stay open longer say 9pm not 8pm.

1. The hotel staffs were very helpful to move our room from 2nd floor to top floor, which has reduced the noise
2. when I had a little accident, the hotel staff was very kind ot offer ice bag very timely.
3. The food is always great
4. The Spa is wonderful
5. the location is great, ski to door!
1. the bath room door upstairs makes a lot of noise when guest close and open with the pulling door for me, especially when someone get up early to ski, from 6am to 9am I was not able to sleep. This has improved at the top floor
2. the door closing has no sound silence function, thus in the morning, I can hear many door closing pang sound from all directions.
3. room is small with balcony, without balcony is much bigger and nicer

modern and clean and great location
The staff were generally great except restaurant manager who was unhelpful. As a family staying at the hotel we generally couldn’t get a table at lunch and even when we managed to get one we were shoe horned in next to huge noisy groups (even though there were quiet tables available) and the noise was so unbearable we ended up leaving and getting room service.
The Bergkristal should be able to cater adequately for its hotel guests at lunch time.
