3.5
The location ,the staff , the food.
8,30 dinner is too late, we were told that the Spanish eat after sunset. But they can still eat later if they wish. We stayed at four hotels during this holiday and it was the only one with a 8.30 start, the rest were 7.30.

View from 4th floor room balcony was exceptional
Fairly unimpressed by the breakfast.
2.5
Location is fantastic
The rooms are outdated and they are without any charm. The beds where not in high standard.
4.0
The Hotel, Staff and location are fantastic!
The breakfast was also superb!
We didn’t like the evening meal, it was served cold and didn’t look very appetising, we did eat some the pasta starter but send the mains back, we then complained to reception! On check out of the Hotel the manager did not believe us that this meal was way below a good standard, after some discussion he eventually refunded us the cost of the meal! As the Hotel and staff are excellent this confrontation with the manager left us very upset!
3.5
Great views. Decent breakfast buffet.
The building is dated, it should be redesigned, not cozy overall. Besides it’s great location and views everything else was not worth the money.
4.0
Very friendly staff. Incredibly clean. Large comfortable room with amazing sea view.
No tea or coffee making facilities in the room.
4.0
Its location.
Nothing to dislike.
3.5
great location, large rooms and a great sea view. all staff really helpful and friendly.
The lack of facilities in the room. There are no tea/coffee making facilities and the Wi-Fi was patchy, which I can imagine being much worse if all the rooms are occupied.
The evening meals didn’t have any options for non-meat eaters.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The light in the garage could have a longer time on it

Excellent hotel, with very friendly staff who speak excellent English.
Great hotel & highly recommended - Sea views are lovely.
There were a few repairs that would need attention soon - probably due to Covid
But i am certain these will be addressed soon

Great location. Good staff but not enough staff to look after meal times. Complimentary water left in room for first day only. As a higher priced 4 star water should have been included. Tea making facilities should also be included

great bar recommendation from the fantastic young receptionist . Cafe Miami…
Nothing- the pool was fantastic, really required for cooling down !
4.5

nothing really

Food was arranged greatly and I was able to get hands on help for my allergy issue. Great thanks for that.
Beds were good but the pillows could have been more soft and different shape.
I understood when making the reservation that there is coffee or tea making faciltities in the room, but there were not.

Restaurant staff worked very hard and were very welcoming. The hotel location is superb. The lobby is fresh and bright.
Reception staff were the least welcoming I can ever remember meeting. Our bedroom was barely worthy of a 2 star, never mind a 4 star hotel. Room furniture was also very disappointing. Breakfast food not up to 4 star standard either.
2.5
Only its location and the view. Nice area, good bed, all very clean - not really anything else I can say.
Think 3 star would be more correct for it.
No parking, absolutely no facilities - more like an Ibis hotel, breakfast was buffet - like one big cafeteria with hundreds of people. Went out most days, lovely places near by. Far to expensive. Had to park 20 minutes walk away as parking in hotel was full and the same with other car parks. Pool seems to be used by passing people not staying in the hotel. Had to walk to 5th floor most of the time as queues for the lift - good for exercise though - only way as didnt have a gym either.

Wanted a hotel on the beach with a balcony in August so you have to pay the price!
Nescafé coffee machine even McDonalds have freshly ground coffee!
4.5
Very difficult parking -insufficient in hotel

great location and nice pool
breakfast wasn’t very good, sausages were not cooked and egg station was not manned.
4.0
Lovely location, very clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast buffet with very attentive staff.
On checkout we were asked to pay a 1.27 euro bill for a coffee from the bar. We didn't use the bar in the hotel at all during our stay. It took a good ten minutes and a lot of consultation between staff members before the receptionist agreed to cancel the charge.
Some reception staff were friendly but others generally ignored guests as the came in and out of the hotel. Catering and cleaning staff were always very attentive, friendly and helpful.

Hotel Allon is located right next to the one of the nicest beaches in la Vila Joiosa, and you’ll be able of listening to the waves while in your room, and enjoy the beach with very little effort (just cross the one way, calm street).
Though the rooms are facing the sea, they don’t face “full sun”, which keeps the inner temperatures reasonable. There’s a balcony to enjoy the pleasant weather.
The staff is very helpful, be it at the reception, during breakfast or the cleaning. Breakfast is rich.
The location is exceptional: you get direct access to the beach, and both sides of the hotel have many very good restaurants, while when you walk slightly uphill you can enjoy churros & chocolate at Valor - All 5 to 10 minutes away, on foot.
2.7
The location was good.
Right in the middle of the beachfront and close to bars and restaurants either direction.
Escalators located a short distance away right up to the main street....
Bed(s) very uncomfortable, paid for a double bed and got 2 singles pushed together.
No fridge in the room.
Not enough sunbeds to accommodate guests (pool in shade most of the day also)

Everything. The hotel was lovely and the location exceptional. We were bed and breakfast. The breakfast was varied and adequate. The staff were friendly and the room’s kept very clean.
There was nothing not to like. We will be back.

spotlessly clean and well maintained with spacious rooms
4.0
Great location, excellent breakfast, spacious, nice outlook.
Rather anonymous, lack of tea making facilities or any English language TV channels a drawback for British guests.
4.0
The room and balcony was spotlessly clean, lots of space and the views were amazing. It certainly was 'a room with a view'. Stunning. It was very relaxing to wake to the sound of the sea waves. Powerful shower. Breakfast was very good - lots of variety and choice. The pool was too cold to swim but it was April, looked very nice and clean though. All areas in the hotel were spotless - the toilets in the lobby were the cleanest I have ever experienced in a hotel.
There is a lack of power sockets in the room. Our room had a large mirror but was nowhere near a socket which made using hair styling tools difficult. Some of the staff were quite miserable. We tried the menu for dinner but the chicken appetiser was undercooked - pink and transparent in the middle so we left and chose to eat elsewhere for dinner the following nights.

nothing

room size, view, good buffet breakfast, helpful staff
room slightly shabby/run down.
