Amei conhecer o Ushuaia e me hospedar no Valle Frío!

Adoramos a cama aconchegante, o chuveiro quentinho e o café da manhã delicioso!

Não há controle de ar de temperatura e o box é pela metade, o que acaba molhando um pouco o banheiro.

Hôtel idéal pour profiter au maximum de Ushuaia

Très beau séjour : - L hôtel est idéalement placé (près de la principale rue commerçante, du musée de la prison et des départs pour les excursions en bateau) : tout est accessible à pied. - Le personnel est accueillant, chaleureux et attentionné (hôtel familial à taille humaine). - La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. - Le petit déjeuner est délicieux Encore merci pour votre aide sur place !

Excelente estadia!

Quarto grande, todo o ambiente limpo, muito silencioso, ótimo café da manhã, funcionários atenciosos e nos ajudaram com um café da manhã antecipado em um dos dias. O hotel é uma grande casa construída em níveis e com elevador disponível. Está a quatro quadras em uma ladeira da rua onde estão os restaurantes e lojas (Calle St. Martín), ou seja, nem perto nem longe, mas é algo que garante o silêncio e dá para ir a pé. Chuveiro muito bom, fornecem shampoo e outras amenidades, há aquecimento interno, fazem a troca da roupa de cama durante a estadia, ótimos travesseiros e roupa de cama limpa.

Lovely stay

I had a lovely stay in Valle Frío Ushuaia. The staff is very attentive, bit quiet but very helpful with any question or advice I needed. My room was very spacious with a nice little balcony and a lovely view! The structure looks like a mountain chalet and I really liked the family feeling of it. Breakfast was good, I normally have continental so I was very satisfied. The position is only 5 minutes walking to the the main street and 10 minutes to the port, which I found it Ideal, on a hill, and I loved the panorama of Ushuaia from there (it snowed a lot one of days I was there). Thank you for your kindness and for having me 😊

Average stay in good location!

The room was clean and the location was very good. The price was fair.

It is a family owned hotel but we did not find the men we dealt with to be very friendly or knowledgable. The breakfast was average for a continental breakfast. There was a hot water maker in our room with two coffee cups but with nothing else-no coffee or tea. When we asked they were able to get some supplies but seemed surprised. We were disappointed that we couldn't get coffee brewed coffee before 7:30 am. The second day the total breakfast was not ready until 7:50.

Value, charm and a warm welcome at a family-owned inn.

Great location in a quiet hillside neighborhood, but still walking distance to restaurants and shops and the waterfront. We loved the charm and friendliness of this family-run place, and would stay there again on a future visit. The brothers who operate Valle Frio are exceptionally welcoming and kind -- we can't say enough about how helpful they were during our stay! Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. Good value and nice breakfast, without paying for amenities we didn't need.

We loved everything about this place! It's up in the hills above town, so might not be the place for people who don't like to walk.

This is a Hosteria, a low-cost accomodation in a large old home. Everything was decent and I was satisfied, but it's not fancy, so keep your expectations realistic. Staff speaks English.

Very good

Valle Frio is an excellent choice in Ushuaia. Great location in a quiet residential neighborhood but just a few blocks from the supermarket (Anomina) and main shopping street (San Martin). A comfortable room, hot shower, full breakfast and very nice and accommodating hosts (three brothers).

Small friendly "hotel". Staff (the brothers) were very helpful. Just above the city, above the traffic, but very close to walk to restaurants and the port. Nice views.

Our room was a little small for 2 people with luggage. But it worked for us, the bathroom shower was a good size.

Excellent location with friendly helpful staff

Good communication from the Hostel as our flights were delayed by 24 hours and they did not charge us for the missed day which was most appreciated. Easy walk to downtown Ushuaia. Very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was typical for this region and quite adequate. This hostel is immaculately clean and well maintained. We had a rental car and parking was easy out the front of the hostel. Our room had a lovely balcony with views to the mountains and city centre. This hostel has an internal elevator which was very convenient when moving around with luggage.

Our room was quite compact so it was a bit of a challenge to have our suitcases and daypacks open for use. We had requested a pick up from the airport which was confirmed by the hostel but when we arrived no one was waiting for us. We caught a taxi which was not a problem and the cost was the same.

Cozy, comfortable and excellent service

Cozy family hotel with excellent service from the three siblings Mati, Agu and Jere. They were always helping us with recommendations, adapting the breakfast time to our flight and letting us use the dining area when we order food (they even let us use the silverware, plates and glasses). They also helped us change some dollars. I stayed with my family, we were 4 couples and in the 4 rooms the bed was super comfy. The breakfast included cereal, muesli, granola, yogurt, white bread, brown bread, different marmalades, honey, dulce de leche, cream cheese, medialunas and a piece of cake or pudding. They also have fruits to take and a variety of tea.

If I have to say something, the pipes sometimes smelled bad but that was in one of the rooms and at certain times. We also noticed the same problem outside so it is a city problem

I liked the room and the staff was very nice and helpful, bed was comfortable and toilet and shower

Breakfast was very much lacking, probably the only thing that was not good. It co sister. Mostly of dry bread, dry cruisants and a piece of cake. It had no cereal or a granola mix , no yogurt, fruit was old and not much , also juice was limited. Otherwise staff was very ice and helpful and rooms kept very clean. I would recommend it.

It's a small Hosteria (I think that's like a B&B in the U.S.). The owners were wonderful, helpful and accommodating to our needs. The place was very clean, in good condition and small and very quite! It was only 8 to 10 minutes to San Martin Street and all of the shops and restaurants. It was very homey and comfortable.
