Property is beautiful. Right on the beach. (I believe it’s probably the entirety of this region of the world but the garbage rides in on the high tide and the beach is covered in trash as the tide recedes). The pools and lazy river are immaculate and beautiful.
Prices were a bit high, no “to go” cups for the morning breakfast coffee.

We like the hotel that has direct access to the beach and Centara is a perfect choise for us. It is located at the end of Karon beach, which is quiet and peachful. Everyday we walk along the beach and later relaxing by the pool, having some drinks and that for us a perfect holiday.
There is no local thai food options from the restuarant by the pool. In order to get a nice chair by the pool, you really need to get up very early to make a reservation.

Everything was really good, we really loved our room with the hot tub on balcony overlooking the pool and far distance ocean view- spectacular views.
We stayed in a spa deluxe with a family of 4 2 adults and 2 children baby and a 9year old. Beds are huge think super king so we shared with our 9year old and our baby had a good sized cot with the side that comes down for easy open access. This was great for getting my baby in and out of her cot
Food- we only had breakfast included- was a good variety of breakfast but not the best.
Lunch- we had at the restaurants at resort, it was expensive, so do get half board.
The Spa was amazing at the resort a lot more expensive than what you will get in Patong or out of the resort but we needed convenience with small children as my husband I took turns.
The kids club- was brilliant! They had a games room and toddlers room with lots of fun toys, slide, ball pit cars to ride on, kitchenettes and lots more. So fun for all ages. Good safety precautions- the main doors were locked at all times and a staff member will only open to allow one to enter or leave.
We went in December Xmas period- we were not bitten at all in the resort we also travelled a lot to patong and did not get bitten there either. But do take your mosquito repellent wipes and sprays. Great help.

The Resort was characterful and very well maintained. The pool was really lovely and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the bed linen was good quality.
The resort was a bit isolated and you needed a cab to go anywhere

great location and views, spacious room, nice swimming pool, love your friendly staff.
The door lock for our room is a little old, I wish the lock were better for safety reasons.

Beatiful green area
The housekeeping, quality of food and very poor entertainment. The rooms are very old with a lot og problems. A waiste of money and precious holiday family time.

Location and morning buffet was good.
Among the staff, marco (night shift) was the best. His attention to service and understanding of guest requirement was very good.
Old, outdated rooms and pool. Tiles in pool were very rough and caused bruises

Beautiful resort by the beach.
Secluded part of karon, more or less private beach for the hotel.
Service of staffs are top notch.
Rooms are dated.

Fabulous, luxurious resort. Amazing pool and beach, perfect for families with small children. Gorgeous views and set in a lush, tropical jungle. Food from restaurants was tasty and fresh, and nice to find a decent wine selection!
Wish we stayed longer!

The beachfront was the best.
The hotel should provide umbrellas and benches by the beach areas.

beautiful room, Long Beach, nice pools, great view. lot of restaurants nearby
in the room good air conditioning, and nice facilities
to expensive drinks, even the happy hours tax was calculated on two not on one.
if you want to go to the city on the road there is no path walk for pedestrians and you need to go 500 m on busy road.

We felt very welcome upon our arrival.
Well kept grounds and luscious garden were very nice and the location by the beach superb. A big resort, which was fully booked, but it was very peaceful and did not feel crowded. It is a short, 10min. walk to town, so it is close to restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet offered a lovely selection of fresh fruit& juices and the quality of tea& coffee was very good.
We had a Premium Spa Deluxe room with a jacuzzi on the balcony- we truly enjoyed it! Nice view to the pool& ocean. Housekeeping was always available and eager to help. The hotel Spa was also outstanding.
The price for the rooms is fairly high.
Otherwise, only minor things:
Although the breakfast buffet offered many things, the Indian corner at the buffet had very little choice and it changed into ” not so Indian” during our stay.
The balcony was a bit crowded with too much furniture.

resort itself for the children
hotel rooms falling apart, overpriced, cleanliness of the rooms was poor constantly asking for rooms to be cleaned

We loved the location! A short stroll along the beachside into the main area of Ao Nang, so you’re not right in the busy centre but can access restaurants, bars, shops and transport easily. The pool is great (but be ware of bed hoggers who leave their towels to reserve first thing in the morning). Breakfast was fab and our room looked out over the pool and beach.
There really wasn’t anything we didn’t like…

fairly clean with one decent restaurant. buffet selections seemed old and not a great variety.
Loud due to screaming kids and room remodel work.

Views from the room, access to the beach, pool, kids facilities and generally food across the resort (especially breakfast) was amazing. Staff were really friendly and accommodating too. Overall everything was clean, comfy, convenient and exceeded all my expectations.
The resort is very well placed & facilities are great. It is a wee bit outdated though as it is an older resort.

it was amazing as ever it was the 6th time of us visiting and even though the last was before Covid it was still a pleasure to be their x
everything was perfect x

Pool area is the best. Especially for children.
It’s all a bit dated. Food is average, pool bar cocktails are not great, they are very friendly but don’t know how to make a cocktail very overpriced. You need a taxi at night you can walk during day via the beach however the hotel taxi service is pure maffia. The ladies are friendly however these vans ask 3-4 times the normal taxi fare or Bolt prices.
