Good stay overall, but would like to make our own tea/coffee

Couldn’t work tv, no tea and coffee facilities, o double bed. and had to make bed ourselves

Beautiful view and the family suite was the best value for money by far of all of the places we’ve stayed in Europe

The rooms were large and spacious compared to what we found in Europe. we ate dinner at the restaurant as well as breakfast in the food was great. they had a lovely view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating and informative

One night, pleasant stay

Stayed for one night, as I had to catch a flight the next morning at 6am at Altenrhein Airport. Didn't really check the hotel before booking (only chose as it is in walking distance to the small airport). I was pleasantly surprised with the room size, cleanliness and atmosphere.

Amazing hotel, Lake view, food, friendly and helpful staff, and close to bike trails

Breakfast was great. It had everything for a nice Buffet breakfast. Dinner was very good too. And the staff were super friendly and helpful The location was close to an entrance to the bike trail which we thoroughly enjoyed biking on. Also the hotel sits right on the shore of the lake with lovely views

Two things we didn’t like were the fist night we had trouble getting to sleep before 1AM because of the loud music and conversation from the bar next door. The next night was better. The other thing was the toilet under the restaurant was a bit smelly though the one in our room was fine

Ridiculously expensive and not a soul in sight.

The facility was completely unmanned and we were to pick up our key in an external mailbox and help ourselves. A hotel that is open to bookings should, in my opinion, be manned for the convenience of its guests. If not, they should remain closed or, at least, inform of the situation prior to booking. This hotel did not. Like always and with no exceptions; Swiss hotels are incredibly expensive for what one get and they are, in my opinion, constantly very far from price worthy. One always get substantially more value for one’s money in any of the neighbouring countries.

Great location

The location of the property is excellent, overlooking the lake and the room was comfortable and I had a pretty good night's sleep - which is unusual for me! The view, although hampered a little, was stunning, particularly at sunset.

Although generally clean, the biggest problem was the chaise longue, which had lots of dirty marks on it, which made me wary and so I couldn't use it. I think it could benefit from a washable cover, for sure. Breakfast was okay, but for a fairly expensive hotel, I feel it could have been better, maybe with some more hot food options.
