The staff was nice, location is near to the metro and Votivchirke, Rathausplatz.
All the things for cleaning were stored in the hallway of the guesthouse (mop, trolley with linen). In front of my room. The hall was vacuumed every morning at 8:00, the noise could be heard in the rooms.

The room was clean and tidy, the hotel were very communicative about how to gain access since our train was late and we arrived after hours. The hotel is in a great location for transport links throughout the city as it is very close to a tram hub. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and had a lovely shower.
The hotel was not air conditioned but we did have a fan provided in the room which was adequate - but we were glad Vienna was not warmer when we were there or it may have been too hot in the room.

The night heating was unpleasant.

A tram runs on this street all night long and have some sound.

Great location and really helpful staff!
The stairs on the way up to the hotel (not owned by the hotel) were quite dirty but inside the hotel was amazing!

The hotel is quite old with lots of period features, which we liked. Wood panelled walls and high ceilings. Creaky wooden staircase. Good choice of pubs, restaurants and cafés close by. A short walk into the centre. Tram stop outside the door and underground stop five minutes walk away. 30 minutes by public transport to airport. The room was clean and pleasant and serviced every day. Despite being adjacent to a very busy road the secondary glazing made it very quiet. The bathroom (room 205) had just been renovated and was clean and modern. Receptionist was friendly and helpful. A mini fridge in the room was a bonus
Access to the lift is restricted and involves climbing a staircase to the bottom stop and does not reach both floors of the hotel. Not ideal for those with mobility issues

Can't fault the location of this hotel which is in a nice area of Vienna with plenty of nice cafes and well-stocked supermarkets within a short walk. Nice view from our room which was very spacious for a family of four with large comfortable beds. A clean and tidy hotel with a bit of character.
There were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room but we didn't really miss it as it was only a short walk into town to get a coffee to go. It did have a good size fridge however. Some of the furniture looked a bit worn but again this wasn't a big issue. We had 3 large suitcases to carry up the old winding staircase to the rooms which offered some good exercise at the end of our journey.
