Nous avons adoré l'endroit, le style, l'ambiance, la deco.
La chambre a 3 (avec mezzanine) a été décorée avec soin.
Personnel souriant, a l'écoute, ... Parfait !

very attractive location, right on the River Loire, and walking distance to town.
No facility to make tea/coffee. We brought our own kettle, tea etc. No facility to leave luggage before 5 pm.

Hot room with fan that blew dust from dusty bedding

Very welcoming hosts.Lovely view of the Loire- from our bedroom window. We had a great sense of history in this 300 year old former post office. It lies sheltered underneath Saumur Castle. The courtyard is a lovely area to relax in. Breakfast was very fresh with fresh fruit and yogurt in addition to juice fresh country bread and delicious croissants. Soya milk was bought especially for my husband . Parking outside the hotel was very easy to find.
It's hard to think of anything. Maybe the steep stairs would be difficult for those who are not very fit but numerous offers were made to help with the luggage

The B&B is located close to the historical centre and main attractions. The room was very spacious with a comfortable bed. The place has a lovely courtyard.
The room was a true representation of the photos shown in the site (i.e. room doesn't have big windows as in the photos, but porthole window). Also, there was not fridge in the bedroom (but the owner let us put some things in their fridge so was ok)

This is a property full of character and charm, is also extremely comfortable. The quayside frontage is deceptive concealing the lovely patio area and the fact that the quiet bedrooms are located to the rear. Stephanie was exceptionally friendly and charming when we met her on arrival. A lovely breakfast was included in the price. Location is great, a short walk to the chateau and town centre.
Nothing.😀

The location was excellent, no more than a 10 minute walk to both the centre of Saumur and the chateau. Our room overlooked the river.
Breakfast was a traditional French one with breads, croissant, juice and tea/coffee all served in the patio area.
We had a room with a bath and hand held shower- we would have much preferred a shower cubicle.

Friendly welcome, wonderful old historical building with great character and the breakfast was perfect.
Restricted check-in time, but this was never a show stopper (although unsure what would have happened if we could not make the check-in time if delayed for some reason).

A very pretty hotel in a converted old post office set around a courtyard. Charming details and beautiful, spacious room.
The hot tub has to be booked in advance and paid for.

greeting was good , fair size room. 5 minutes from good restaurants. Breakfast in court yard was usual French brekkie but still nice. friendly service
devil to find the place, Just la patio sign no spa as part of the sign, no private parking, had to find a space along the road. NO TEA AND COFFEE in room.

Everything. So good to be back in la belle France. Very welcoming, comfortable and superb location. Lovely owner and staff.
Nothing. All very good.

If you like historical buildings, ok. If you want comfort, A/C, fridge, search elsewhere
The building is OLD ( >300 y) so improvements cannot be done to increase comfort. BTW, the breakfast is french style !!!! (weak cofee, croissant, butter, yoghurt)

A lot of atmosphere for this hotel very close to the centre of Saumur. Lovely patio to have breakfast in the sun
Wifi signal didn’t work well. No parking at the property but there are spaces available nearby.

THe staff was really friendly, the bedroom is really huge and very confotable, great quality/price ratio
Check-in is a quite late at 5:00 pm, besides the hotel was closed in the afternoon so we could't even wait in the common areas of the hotel.

That was an exceptional experience at Le Patio & Spa. Stayed for 2 nights while traveling Loire Valley for a week. Everything was outstanding: spacious room with 18-th century décor, breakfast with fresh croissants, gorgeous view of the Loire River from our windows, nice French style patio where you can drink glass of wine. You are pretty much at the chateau, no museums needed :). Wonderful location: visited 6 chateau on our trip, and Château de Saumur I'd vote out - one of the best along with Château Royal d'Amboise for their gorgeous views. Huge thank you to owner Romain and his wife for warm hospitality and accommodation. They were very friendly to us, answered all questions and gave plenty of recommendations...
Romain, special thank you for a warm reception on our arrival! Hope you remember that couple with a trouble to charge their electrical car :). Irina

We had a wonderful welcome, and enjoyed a glass or two of local wine whilst sitting in the lovely patio area, a very nice breakfast is provided. The property is full of character and is tastefully furnished. The location couldn't be better a short stroll to all that Saumur has to offer

This place was beautiful! Nice hosts, easy to find free parking across the street and a comfortable room. The breakfast was not as full of variety as some other places we have stayed at but it was good. Great location to visit the historic centre.

When we checked out the owner said that we had to pay i cash even thou it on booking says they accept credit card. The owner was extremly rude and only yelled that he was the owner and that this was a bed and breakfast and not a hotel
4.5
The place is very convenient and close to the center. Great atmosphere in a house from 300y ago.
The window did not have a curtain to stop the light coming in at 06:30.
4.5
very charming hotel with very flowery patio, 5 min walk max from the center, attentive and kind hosts also advising on places to visit with children

Beautiful place, well renovated with taste, and super friendly staff. I also loved having a beautiful parrot come to knock at the window.
