Nice room, swimming pool, good food at the restaurant, close to the beach

We had a very pleasant stay, there was a delicious breakfast every morning, huge parking lot on site, and the rooms were cleaned up on a daily basis. And most of all, the owners were super nice and always smiling :)

The location of the hotel is great. Just 2 min walk to the beautiful Kalamitsi beach and the great restaurants at the beach.
The room was cleaned everyday very thoroughly.
The hotel itself was nice but in a lot of corners were things lying around. For example, the elevator did not work during our whole stay and the elevator was then used as storage for the towels.
The room was extremely small and you couldn‘t even properly open the doors of the wardrobe because the bed was too close. The stairs to the second bedroom were so steep and too open so we could not use the room with our small child. Also the railing of the balcony was so minimal we always had to closely supervise our child on the balcony.

Breakfast was ok, though we've only tried it once (10EUR/pax/day was a bit on the high side). Staff was polite and helpful. Functional aircon and fridge, hot water w/ good pressure all around the clock, service/bar open until later in the night, relatively ok place to work on the terrace/
Pretty strong smell in the room on occasions, suspect it was from the aircon unit (smell was only in the room, NOT in the bathroom).
Noisy guests around the pool (perhaps our bad luck), which staff only tried to quiet once we complained about it (more or less successful).
Apartments are not actually two rooms - the second bed is on an iron platform on top of the main bed. Pretty difficult & dangerous to escalate for kids, heat in the afternoon was unbearable (windows faced west).
Rooms and hotel in general rather small (somehow looked larger in the pics; having been there, pics are accurate, but do not provide a sense of actual sizes).

Very kind staff, comfy beds, clean, quite
The room was with gallery up floor, but everything was too narow, suite declared with two bedrooms but actually was with one bedroom for 4 adults. Lot of construction and safety standards were not obeyed.

The room was spacious and cleaned every day.
Everything modern and recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The water was brown. I think because the bad weather before our stay.

We want this review to be fair and balanced so we will highlight both the positives and negatives. The main issue is lack of value for money for the rates charged.
- the hotel is fairly new and you can tell from the furniture and amenities
- staff in reception (family running the hotel) were receptive to queries or small requests
- air conditioning works fine
- bed is comfortable
- location is close to the beach
- parking is available (which is important as Kalamitsi is very crowded mid-season) but it is in a public parking, on the grass, 150m away from the hotel
- rooms were overlooking the pool and bar but it was not excessively noisy, music was at an appropriate level so no issue
- pumbling is an issue (you have to press 4-5 times for toilet to flush); also there is a 500 EUR fine if you throw toilet paper in the toilet (probably because they run on septic tank), which we had read about in other reviews so we were ready to observe but is still unsual
- no door or glass for the shower means you flood the bathroom for every shower
- only one socket available in the entire room and not close to the bed - this was a major disconfort as we had to take turns to charge phones or use other devices (which only charge when you are in the room and the card for electricity is on anyways, so limited time, usually during the night)
- water was yellow-brownish hue the entire time, we did not drink it or wash our teeth with it as it did not look safe to do so (we used purchased still water)
- no change of towels or sheets during a four night stay
- pool is lined with plastic sheet (not tiles like you usually see) and was not cleaned or tested for water quality during any of the mornings so we decided to avoid it
- rooms have almost no sound insulation, you can hear everything from neighbouring rooms or outside your doors

Staff is friendly. There is free parking at a hude grass area near the hotel, with enough trees to make shade.
The elevator was not wrking. There was no mosquito net no the windows, so that mosquitos was able to enter the room.

The hotel is new, rooms are spacious and look modern. Quite decent. It’s close to the beach. The owners are very kind and helpful. It’s quiet at night, good sleep is possible.
Wi-fi was very weak; there was no signal in the room. The quality of the water in the hotel was very bad (looked yellow and dirty). No complementary water was provided in the room (very unusual for Greece and particularly due to the low quality of the water at the hotel).
The place (village) is very small, not particularly beautiful and lively, it’s mostly for holidays with children. The hotel (and accommodation there in general) is rather pricy for such location.

The facility is located close to the beach. The hotel area was quite and nice.
The wifi signal was poor. The song playlist can be improved. During our stay, starting 9 am, we were waking up with the same songs. This gets annoying at some point.
If by any chance you get 2 rainy days, you might have to take cold showers, as the water in the rooms is being heated only by solar power.

Close to beach and restaurants.
Road is not done. No extra pillows, food quality was not ideal.

The location is close to the beach, but in Kalamitsi everything is close to the beach. The staff was polite and helpful.
Bathroom was clean and comfortable.
In general it is a nice place to stay.
The rooms have a door towards the pool and it is not soundproof, you can hear everything. The music at the poolbar starts very early in the morning, also there were a lot of kids screaming in the morning.
Walls were very thin so we could actually hear someone snoring from the other room.
The water in the pool was dirty, so we didn't even try it.
The parking lot is 200 meters away from the hotel which is not a big problem, but is well to be told.

The people working were polite and the hotel was quite lean
Our stay wasn't pleasant even though it was not only the fault of the hotel. There was the two out of three days we stayed a interruption of the water service which prevented the toilet and bath usage for all the guests of the hotel. It was disturbing that the camping close to the hotel had most likely water reservoirs and didn't notice any problems. The first day that there was water, they actually didn't have hot water! Also there was a bad smell while entering the room. Finally the temperature of the rooms was very problematic. The temperature was very uneven between the two floors. If the A/C was not at full the above floor was quite hot. If it was at maximum then the lower floor was freezing.

Location is OK. Not far from beach. Clean room.
There was no warm water - because they rely only solars. Half of our stay we couldnt take warm bath, because it was a bit cloudy. Also when every body renurn from beach, Hot water runs out. I spoke with manager but he told me that it Is my problem-absolutely unaccetable. Room is too small, especially second floor - too high to clime, especially with suitcase. Breakfast is the same all days-no diversity- omlets and ham and cheese..... There was a Electric cabel in the bathroom wich was not isolated!!!

Absolutely loved the hotel and definitely all recommendations, this place is nice and quiet family owned hotel. Best place to stay in Kalamitsi.

I had a wonderful experience at the Paladium Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! Thank you!

Friendly owners, the bed sheets were clean and the bed & pillows were perfect. New furniture. 2 minutes walk from the beach. Bar/cafeteria has reasonable prices. The owners welcome feedback, which shows willingness for improvement.
It is a shame, because it was beautiful on the outside and relatively new (since 2018) but the damages are obvious which shows poor maintenance history. It was not clean, bathroom door was falling apart - literally pieces were coming off the door- because the shower water was leaking from the bottom of the shower glass ending up on the door frame and the door itself. There was no toilet paper and there were dead and alive bugs around the window inside the room when we checked in. Showering made a mess of the toilet seat as it is only 30cm apart from the doorless shower. Generally the bathroom was just bad, even the bathroom door handle had a strange feel when touching. The cleaning ladies don't know how to make a bed - not before check-in but in the inbetween days - they just pulled up the sheet without even bothering streching it to make it appear a bit straight and tidy.

Hotel is very nice, comfortable, well located... But most important thing - it is family owned hotel, with fantastic service and atmosphere. 👌😊
Nothing to complain

We absolutely loved our stay in Palladium. Breakfast is great! The owners are very friendly and helpful. I want to thank them for everything they did for us!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Location was excellent, very close to the beach and parking, but a bit outside so it was quiet.
The two-story room which we got had the air conditioning too low and cold was not going to the high ceiling 2nd floor. In the bathroom there was no shower gel and the shampoo was a couple small bottles, it would be better if they had a big container in the shower. There is generally room for improvement.
