"Fantasea" is a stunning 4 BR, 3 BA pool home situated on Middle Gulf Drive and is located directly across the street from the Gulf of Mexico!

This island home boasts 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms including an expansive upstairs master retreat. The chef's kitchen featuring a gas cook top, stainless steel appliances and adjacent dining area provide a superb entertaining space. The large home offers space for the whole family and 2 work desks where just recently added to the upstairs loft area, great for those working or schooling from home! The living & dining room area opens out to the two-story screened in deck over looking the pool & hot tub and offers optimal water views of Sanibel River and the adjacent Sanibel Island Golf Club. The heated saltwater pool and spa are delightful and are surrounded by a large deck, a great place to enjoy an afternoon of swimming or an evening of island breezes and gorgeous sunsets. Garage parking is available to all guests along with abundant storage space including all beach gear and toys including chairs, towels, umbrella, beach carts, boogie boards, floats, etc. This home offers casual Sanibel Island living in a picturesque tropical setting inclusive of an incredible location just steps to the shell strewn beaches of Sanibel Island. It's the perfect place to call home!

Home amenities include: 4 bedrooms/3 bathrooms -- 2 King beds & 1 Queen bed & 2 Twin beds (sleeps 8), 4 Smart TVs (streaming only), WIFI available, heated saltwater pool & spa, large enclosed & partially covered lanai patio, river views, washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen, BBQ gas grill, garage parking, 2 work space desks in loft area. No Pets Allowed. Bed linens and bath towels included. Beach chairs, beach towels, and an umbrella are provided for added convenience.

Please note: ALL of our Single Family Homes require a 28 day minimum rental period per the city of Sanibel. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 8 people.

Fabulous rental! So much wildlife to view from the lanai (our favorite feature of the house). Loved having our own private pool too. Kitchen has everything you need- we mostly ate at home and enjoyed having all the tools, pots and pans we needed for anything we cooked. Property management was immediately responsive for even the smallest thing- would rent from them again in a heartbeat!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We found this Middle Gulf Drive home very comfortable. It was a very convenient location for accessing the beach and biking the island. The view from the deck overlaps a pond and provides a tropical setting.

Not worth the price!

Not worth the price!

The condition of the home was unacceptable for the price we paid to rent it for the month. We had constant issues with the water (no hot water), the pool and hot tub (wouldn’t heat), no dish washer (standing water in the dishwasher that smelled bad), leaking propane, cabinets falling apart and held together with tape. The WiFi and internet was not avaioable the first day because the landscaper had cut the line. I was on the phone with the management company every other day. The management company did their best, but the homeowners should be moritified to rent their home in this condition. With my previous experiences, the price should have dictated a vastly better experience. Do not rent this home at this price!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We always enjoy Sanibel, although this year we had to deal with Covid 19. House was as represented in photos. Pool area very enjoyable. Layout of house a little strange, with the 4th bathroom isolated on second floor. Nice roomy kitchen and loved the large lanai. A bit of pruning on rear foliage would enhance the view. A few very minor issues were addressed promptly by SBL staff.

We had a wonderful stay at this house! The house was perfect, clean, and comfortable. Truly a fantastic location, close to the beach. The bike path is also right out the front door. Looking forward to returning to Sanibel in the future.

When we awoke the next morning and opened our blinds, we were immediately taken by the beautiful greenery and river flowing directly behind the home. The glass doors in the living room open up all the way, so you have the immediate indoor to outdoor living. We thought that was one of the coolest things about the house. When you walk out to the patio you overlook the inviting pool and connecting hot tub.The home is beautifully decorated from top to bottom. Beds are very comfortable, Two master suites with walk in closets, two other bedrooms on the main floor and one down below. Huge beautiful kitchen with a gas stove, I love to cook so that was a plus. They have a Countertop spice rack Tower with any spice you would ever need. There is also a grill off the patio, which we used. The other awesome thing is you are a very short walk to the beach!They provide a wagon for you to load all your possessions to take to the beach, very convenient. White soft sandy beaches await, full of sea shells for your picking. Very quite neighborhood, property landscaping immaculate.
Its all about the details, they have pretty much thought of everything you would ever need. Very relaxing trip, we will definitely be back!
