Liked everything about the property with the exception of location which was difficult to get to, particularly. Everything else was good.

Great alternative to a pricey hotel room to enjoy our college football game weekend. Maybe 10-15 minute drive to stadium as well as downtown restaurants. Quiet, tucked away in the woods. Clean, cozy and great communication with host.

We had a great time and would stay again. Plenty of space and I appreciated Becky's communication and willingness to work with us on a couple of things. Feeding the goats was a highlight and Cain their dog was very gentle and welcoming. Super clean and comfortable too!

Our family had such a wonderful stay here. We were a little leery staying in the owners basement but it was completely private. We had a separate locked entry and couldn’t hear the homeowners upstairs at all. They had everything we needed I did forget to restock my shampoo and shower soap which is always in my travel bag. The beds were very firm which was good for my back. We were greeted by their beautiful dog each day. He is so sweet and friendly and never tried to come inside. We enjoyed him so much. They have goats and chickens that are a short walk across their property. We were able to feed the goats sweet potatoes which was so fun. We would definitely stay here again. What a great experience for our football weekend

Property was clean and as advertised. There was a lot of area to explore. We had a blast!

Very wooded and secluded area, a beautiful patio and so very quiet. The boys enjoyed feeding the goats with sweet potatoes that Becky has supplied. There were books, puzzles and toys for the boys as well. They had a really great time running up and down the pathway.
I think the adults enjoyed they time too. We were in town for a wedding and even though it seemed we were way out in the country, the access to town was very easy.
We enjoyed it very much

Super quick drive from Mizzou, yet you feel really removed from the city and only 10 minutes away. Lovely property and wonderful setting!

We were driving across the country and we were looking for a quite place to take a day off of driving and just rest. Becky’s house was the perfect place for that. We got there late the first night and rested the next day and stayed in. There was also paths to walk and check out the farm animals and get a little exercise. The house is in the country and off of the highway and very quite. Also when we stay in hotels we have to take all of our personal belongs in the hotel with us and there we could just leave it all in the car and feel it was safe.

Quiet and convenient
Nice quiet alternative to area hotels. Very close to interstate and cluster of restaurants, shops, etc. Simple, clean, met expectations and matched what was presented in posting. Wet bar area perfect for preparing simple meals - not a full kitchen but not advertised as such so it was what we were expecting. Excellent and friendly communication from the owner.

Peaceful
We enjoyed the peacefulness and quiet of this home. It is a very short drive to get to Hwy 70, so convenient to everything in Columbia, a short drive to Rocheport (Katy Trail access) and Warm Springs Ranch (Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales Breeding Farm). Very clean, super nice (and quiet) owners who live in the upstairs of the house. Cain, their dog, is very sweet and affectionate, as are the two cats. They have a small goat herd as well. We brought food from home pre-made so all we needed was the microwave. There is a hot plate and pots and pans if needed, an electric griddle, etc. The fridge is fairly small so bring a cooler, but the freezer is large enough to hold a small bag of ice. Very easy checking in and out. Had a lovely stay.

Excellent Hosts
The property was everything they said it would be. Cain was a pleasure to have around. Becky and Chris were excellent hosts and we couldn’t have asked for better. We would definitely stay again.

Rental came with an educational introduction to GOATS!!
Beautiful remote location outside of Columbia. Comfortable accomodations, well thought out floor plan, everything we needed for our short stay in area. Cane was a sweetheart, but the highlight was Becky spending time with us showing us her herd of goats. My grandgirls were enthralled & we all learned a lot! Much thanks to your family for providing our family with an experience beyond the norm!!

Cain is awesome! The place was as advertised and a great place to stay! Clean and comfortable.
Cain the dog was the highlight of the stay, but the accommodations were just as nice as the dog! But, damn that dog almost came home with us!

Wonderful Place to escape to in COMO
We were very impressed with the cleanliness and the location of this property. We were greeted by their adorable dog "Caine" and immediately felt at home in their beautifully furnished place. We were able to enjoy relaxing time, off campus, with our Freshman son at Mizzou for card games and 1:1 time... We then retuned for the football game, tailgate and dining around COMO... The place was 15 minutes from campus. A GREAT alternative to Hotels and will definitely return!!

A nice place to stay on busy family weekend.

40 acres , yet very close to Columbia
My three sisters and I stayed the weekend in Becky’s lower level. Everything was spotless. (I have owned several bed-and-breakfast inns, so I know how important that is!) Also, a nice supply of towels, sheets, and blankets.
Even though we are all fantastic cooks, we chose to have dinner out. Being so close to Columbia, we had no problem locating several within a few minutes’ drive.
I hope Becky upgrades to a full refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. We will be back many times if she does.!

Excellent property and hosts
I stayed at Becky and Chris' place for 17 days after my father had hip replacement surgery. The property was very clean, and communication with Becky before check-in was super-easy. The pictures on VRBO accurately represent the property, which is something (unfortunately) I can't say for every place I've stayed over the years. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Awesome mid-Missouri getaway
We had a wonderful experience - the space was more than comfortable for our family of six (youngest is 3yr). Becky was very responsive, a gracious host, and kept us up to date on weather (a few storms during our stay) which was incredibly helpful. Everything was super clean, and there were plenty of appliances for cooking meals for the family. We will try to stay again, then next time we're in town!

Felt like home
Better than staying in a hotel! Very clean and quiet. Loved their dog, Cain. Owner was very responsive. Would love to come back and take advantage of exploring the property more. If you were looking for a getaway with kids, they have games and books for kids. Just really well done!

Very pleasant experience!
Clean and spacious living area. Beautiful outdoor scenery. Absolutely loved their very good boy Cane. Host was very friendly and had immediate responses to inquiries. I loved that it was so peaceful, especially compared to a hotel. They had better toilet paper and Kleenexes too. :)

Quiet Getaway
We needed to get away after 6 months at home with all the kids, dogs, and as full-time caregivers for my dad during COVID. This was the perfect place. Located on a 40 acre farm, we had the serenity we sought! The family that owns this take pride in what they provide. They took us out to see their goats, and I got to hold the two babies. Oh my goodness how cute! They welcomed us to explore the property and enjoy the beautiful landscape. But the best part... the family's story! Having raised two boys and having an empty nest, they took on two young-teen foster siblings! What amazing hearts they have for doing good in this world. We were thoroughly impressed with this family and the rental was immaculate! Beautifully decorated and perfect for our getaway! We highly recommend!!!

Loved It
A little scary coming in late at night but super comfy and clean and in the morning you are surrounded by gorgeous woods and greeted by the sweetest 2 dogs and a kitty. About 10-15 minutes from campus, very easy to get to and find.

Great place for football weekend
This was a great place to stay for a visit to Columbia for a game. Place was perfect for our needs. Although we didn't get to meet Becky, info left was helpful & we all enjoyed the four-legged welcoming committee! Will definitely stay next time in the area.

So much space and I loved their pets!
The drive up to the place was a little scary driving at night, but the place was very nice overall. Plenty of space. Super clean, and the owner was very nice even though we never met. They had a binder with all the information about the place made for your convenience which they didn't have to do and their pets were the best! They were outdoor animals, so they were never in the house. Lucy, their dog, and the two kitten, Chester and Cinder, were wonderful and super cute. I would go back for sure!
