The food & staff were both incredible. So welcoming and speaking to you on first name basis is always a bonus.
The rooms were spotless! Breakfast & pizza were amazing

Chis the owner and his wife are extraordinarily nice people. If you are in Uyuni and need some help or guidance or a fresh delicious pizza go there. It’s worth it.

Lovely short stay only one night. The room was warm and comfortable and the staff were great and very interesting with the history of the place. The restaurant is fantastic, amazing pizza, and services would be nice to stay another night.

This is a nice hotel in Uyuni. The rooms are quite spacious and they have heaters (they didn't help much in June, but they are still there). The staff is very polite and the owner of the hotel is incredibly friendly and ready to help with any question. The breakfasts are quite good, with a large selection of different bullchnks and coffee, which is prepared especially for you.

Friendly staff, heating and hot water, pizzeria in the same building, good coffee. Very quiet - located near the military, no traffic passed by.

The owner was very nice. They tried best to accommodate our needs. In the beginning, hot water did not work, but they offered us to take a shower in another room where hot water works well. This would imply that they would respond quickly to any of your inconvenience during the stay.
Also, they asked what time is the flight departure and arranged a taxi to get to the airport and opened the restaurant earlier for breakfast to accommodate our flight schedule.
Their pizza is not offered during the morning, but I was able to order the night before my trip to salar de Uyuni and they reheated my pizza in the morning before we go for trip so that we can take our pizza to the trip. Of course, pizza was great!
I also had some bolivianos money left as I exchanged too much, but they exchanged my bolivianos to US dollars, thankfully. I would highly recommend this place.

We were only spending one night in Uyuni after the salt flats tour and before catching a flight to La Paz. Toñito was perfect. Lovely staff, great location and an on site pizza restaurant! They kindly arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport the following morning and made sure we ate something before we went. I also left my bag in the restaurant in the evening and Chris (the owner) came up to the room with it, much appreciated. We would recommend this place to anyone. Speedy wifi a bonus, too!
Nothing to note.

We just returned from the 3 days trip by 4WD and it was perfect stopover in Uyuni. Very good location close to centre and helpful staff. They also booked us taxi in the morning to the airport.
Little bit old style, but matches the purpose.

Adored this Gem of a place! Chris made the most incredible pizza! Honestly the best pizza we've ever had. His wife could not have been nicer to us. We arrived very late, they had finished up for the day, but very willingly turned the oven on again to make sure we were fed. Honestly an excellent experience here. Would highly recommend you stay here too. 😊

An amazing little hotel - far better than we imagined. The owners were delightful and helped us with every question we had. Pizza dinner was amazing - and the breakfast - well just wow!!! 5 star! Ordered a taxi for us and made sure we got to the airport in time. Fabulous location - short stroll to some local markets. The rooms were lovely - spacious and comfy and very warm. It's just an oasis of love.
Nothing at all.

Close to main travel agencies. Great breakfast and friendly owners.

The linens and towels were superb for a smaller hotel in a modest size city.
The managers and staff are proficient and very friendly.
Chris is a restauranteur originally from Boston but has lived in Uyuni for decades. He runs a great small restaurant in the hotel, with fresh baked goods, pizzas, other hot dishes for dinner. There is a wonderful breakfast spread, included with the room, with fruit & yogurt, tropical fruits, muesli & other cereals, eggs, fresh juices and more.
Would gladly stay again!
Uyuni is a dusty town, in a high desert rural area - but the Salt Flats are amazing - well worth the visit.

The breakfast was incredible. What a wonderful selection and everything home made, even the bread. I have never seen such a variety, every day there was a different “special” the last day chef Christopher made ham, cheese and mushrooms Stromboli. I am a big foodie and was impressed by the inventiveness.
I am not much of a pizza person but everyone was raving about the pizza so of course I had to try it. What a selection, llama meat with sun dried tomatoes (dried themselves) (the one I chose) marguerita pizza, pesto with spinach and onions. I could go on and on- incredible. I saw people walking up to C and telling him (sometimes with tears in their eyes) that it was THE best pizza they had ever eaten, I totally agreed! Susie, the wife of C was so warm and welcoming made me feel like her sister.
It was carnival week so they were a little short staffed but managed to pull everything off flawlessly. I helped in the kitchen on the last day, what fun, C even showed me how to portion the pizza dough and was very patient with me - I got a “ minute man” T/shirt as a reward! This is THE a place to stay in Uyuni, don’t even bother to look elsewhere or you will regret it!

If anything my room could use a little “sprucing up” maybe a new coat of paint but I didn’t care because everything else was so magnificent!

Chris and Susie are amazing people, super helpful warm and welcoming.
The rooms are nice and clean, the bathrooms very nice, but the hell of the places is Chris's cooking.
Everything that comes out of his kitchen is a delight. He loves what he's doing and so will you!

The hotel owners are so helpful (and speak English which was great for us.) The location is close to the market and bus station. The attached restaurant is excellent and prices are good. Breakfast was included and had nice selection of eggs, fruit, and pastries. We felt very safe. We highly recommend Totino!
In the summer the room was a bit stuffy at night so we kept our door open to the hallway. We felt safe doing this since the main door to the hotel is locked.

Awesome spot to stay in Uyuni! Great little hotel with excellent staff, and it's attached to the amazing pizza parlor Minutemen Pizza, run by an American expat who makes the best pizzas in Bolivia. Breakfasts are equally amazing. This is the place to stay in Uyuni -- you'll be treated like family and fed until you can't eat anymore. What a wonderful oasis of warmth and hospitality in this remote but beautiful corner of Bolivia. Highly recommend!!

The restaurant food and breakfast prepraded by Chris was excellent!!! Fresh natural juices, scramble eggs, mermelade and bread, home madeapple strudles, great home made pizza, cold beer.... Don't need to go out. Sussy was ver accomodative and really helped us with the loss of my cell phone in Bolivia and getting the tour company to pick us up at the hotel. Chris and Sussy are very kind and special human beings. No problems with English or Spanish. Highly recommended to stay in Uyuni!!!

Chris and Sussy are lovely people and attentive to the guest’s needs. That makes all the difference. The restaurant had great food and I looked forward to what Chris had baked up for breakfast!
Everything was good.

Amazing hotel to visit after a few days on a salt flats tour. Clean, comfortable, and great food at the restaurant. Everything you need to relax and refresh. Highly recommend

early check-in possibility for a little extra. Having a hot shower in the morning after the long and cold night-bus drive and excellent breakfast. Very comfy rooms. Chris and his wife are amazing people. I felt very welcome at their place. Chris made sure to connect every guest in the hotel and I felt as part of the „Tonito“ family. Also great pizzas for dinner at the Minutemen restaurant in the hotel.

The hosts are exceptionally friendly and very helpful, organising a taxi for us and helping to accommodate a mix up in booking on my part. Restaurant does great food. If you are looking for central location, with friendly hosts, you can't beat this hotel

After traveling almost two months we can say this is a true gem and the best place we have stayed so far during our travels!
Hot showers, delicious breakfast, nice rooms, the best pizza we had during our travels (seriously, the owner used to have a pizzeria in La Paz and learned the trick in Boston), good beers (try the local blond one!) and owners who are so nice and helpful with everything you need.
We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely recommend staying here.
If you are coming by nightbus early check-in + breakfast is possible for a small fee, which was greatly appreciated!
Absolutely nothing, Uyuni is a transit place for most people (also for us) but because of this place we regret not being able to stay longer.

The room was nice with great hot shower!
It also has a heater in the room in case needed.
Above all the breakfast was very good!!

Food was amazing! Having draft beer in the middle of nowhere was also quite a treat.

Lovely and care taking owners! I stayed for 3 nights during my scouting for a motorcycle tour through Argentina, Chile and Bolivia. I recharged my batteries here with very good breakfast, a peaceful atmosphere, great pizza in the evening and meeting interesting people from Uyuni and around. Thank you for a great time!

Well located, clean, wonderfully nice hosts, who also own the lovely pizzeria inside, perfect for a night before or after a trip in the Salar.

Only a very short walk from the bus stop and on a very safe and quiet street, we had a fantastic welcome even though arriving early in the morning and were served breakfast immediately by Chris and Susie. Our room was ready which was very warm and cosy considering how cold it was outside!
When we were leaving they left a packed lunch at the door with some hot water and tea with takeaway cups. Very nice touch
Nothing to complain about

Chris and Sussy were spectacular and really went out of their way for all sorts of help - from tour recommendations to overall Uyuni advice. As an added bonus - the Minuteman pizzeria is located in this establishment. Let's just say it's the best (New York .....errrr, Boston style) pizza I've eaten n Latin America which says a lot as I've been living in this region for 3+ years. Chris had just started his experimentation wtih NY style water bagels and I swear I felt I was somewhere in New York City. Ill just add one more word - great craft beer selection. But this is about the hotel...not the restaruant so, if you want a great quiet location, excellent service, comfy rooms and cool evening vibe - Tonito is your place.
I didn't like the fact that I had to leave!

Not only are the radiators, gas heaters and solar showers amazing after a long day on the salt flats, but the warmth of the owners hearts (Sussy and Chris) are what makes this hotel stand out from all the others. Not to mention the breakfast that could fuel an army and had the best selection we have been offered so far (including dietry requirements). Overall, great stories, fantastic pizza (also in the hotel) and outstanding human beings. Thank you both so much for an unforgettable stay.
That we can't teleport the hotel around Boliva with us!

Absolutely must stay with Chris and Suzie while you're in Uyuni. Not only are they the nicest, warmest people you'll ever meet, they will make your stay with them feel like home.
We arrived late, off a night bus and they had a cup of tea and homemake cookie for us on arrival. We also had a late bus leaving too and they allowed us to have our room for an extra few hours. Which was such a luxury for us.
The breakfast was amazing, Chris make everything from scratch, including delisious dried apples and muesli. Not to mentioned the omelette, waffles and baked treats.
Lastly, can't go past the incredible pizzas they make for dinner in their restaurant, which is inside the hotel. It was so so so good, as well as the hot cider! Best thing to have after you finish a day tour at the salt flats.
Please stop looking for places and stay at Tonito! You won't regret it!
Nothing. Everything was great!

Lovely clean rooms. heaters in the rooms. lovely tea and cookie treat on arrival❤️ Fantastic owners who are Bolivian and American so have perfect English which is great as we didn’t have a lot of Spanish. BEST breakfast we had in all of Bolivia, beautiful fruit, yoghurt, granola, bagels, pancakes etc. Kitchen is a pizza place at night which serves huge and tasty pizzas.
nothing! 100% fantastic.
