About this cabin rental

The Interlaken Chalet is charming and well-appointed. Guests will love being tucked away in the trees with such close proximity to downtown Asheville!

This vacation ready rental has a fully-stocked kitchen with appliances, pots and pans, dishes, coffee, soaps and paper products. We provide linens, towels and blankets.

This home has Wi-Fi, Cable TV with Roku in the living room, Roku only in the bedrooms, gas fireplace. The 2 bedrooms are tastefully decorated.

Only an average $10 Uber/Lift ride downtown.

There is parking for two cars next to the Chalet.

Two dogs are allowed. Please click that you have a pet, this will add the $30 pet fee. Also let the host know you will be bringing a pet and the breed and size.

The home will be all yours for the duration of the rental period.

This is a well maintained rustic cabin. See the pictures.

We liked the place so much we were sorry to have to leave. Everything was clean, instructions were clear and communication with the host quick and easy. A very unique property, almost like a tree house. I have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone.

My friends and I enjoyed staying here. It's up in the hills so its nice and quite but still a short drive into town. The property is well maintained and clean. Everything was great.

We were in for a 60th birthday celebration with another couple. Property was nestled in the hills for perfect morning and evening views. Location was close to everything. Beds were comfortable, super clean and host left coffee. A nice touch! Overall a great place to stay!

We had such a wonderful stay at Interlaken. Super close to everything but also quiet and tranquil. The cottage was spotless and the bed was comfortable. We really appreciated being able to bring our pup. We will definitely be back.

This was a great place to stay, perfect location for all the Asheville breweries. Nice quiet spot away from the downtown area noise but still less than 10 minutes away from everywhere you wanna go. The house was clean, accessible, and had a great view.

This property is fabulous. It had everything we needed and more. We went to visit our son at UNCA, and he was able to stay with us. We also had our dog, Patsy. The cottage is on Beaucatcher Mountain but simultaneously close to downtown and the college. Everything was clean and cozy and we had no trouble with the directions. We will definitely be back. Also, the people staying in the houses close by were all very nice. And lastly, sheets! Lately, we've been staying places where the sheets are polyester or cotton blend, and I'm a hot sleeper. The sheets here were amazing. 100% cotton. The bed was super comfy. Wonderful place. Great stay.

I loved this place. It’s a little tricky to figure out how to navigate to the right one along the “chalets”, but it’s just perfect. Beds are super comfortable. Exceptionally stocked kitchen. Nice and quiet location that’s still close to everything. Great view. I will 100% return on my next visit to Asheville.

Unfortunately, due to the weather, the cabin was not accessible to me and my 81 yr old mother on the night we arrived. The cabin is great, however, please do be aware that if there is inclement weather, it will be very hard to access. There was snow and ice, and the road to the cabin is very narrow, curvy and very steep. We attempted to get to the cabin in my daughter's Toyota SUV and the roads were too icy and snowy. We were sliding. It was difficult to even turn around to get back down the road. Unfortunately, this resulted in having to find a hotel for 2 nights due to being unable to access the property, an expense we did not plan for. Please be aware of weather conditions and make sure you have a 4 wheel drive. Even if just raining, this could be an issue.

We really enjoyed our stay in this home on a mountain above the city. It was clean, comfortable and warm even though it was very cold outside. We especially enjoyed the pretty mountain views right from the couch. The sunrise color was spectacular to watch since the deck faces east. We appreciated the host allowing our two small dogs to join us on the adventure. This home is close to everything! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on future visits to the Asheville area.

The Interlaken Chalet was perfect for a weekend away with our college student! Every detail was thought of with perfect notes to make sure we were comfortable. We enjoyed the casual environment conveniently located to Ashville, Biltmore, hiking and who wouldn’t love having an Ingles close by? We hope to make this a new Holiday tradition with our adult son!

Met up with family in Asheville & looked for a dog-friendly property. This place was comfortable, clean, & well-stocked. Windy, narrow road going up the hill to get there—bad weather would be an issue. Nice view from living room, bedrooms & small deck. Enjoy!

This property is well maintained and comfortable. We were in a wooded, somewhat secluded area and yet just minutes away from downtown Asheville. The access road is narrow and a couple of steep hairpin turns but is only a short distance - 100-150 yards to the cabin…of all the places we have stayed in Asheville, this is our favorite…

We absolutely loved the location and ambiance of this house. The beds we’re comfortable and we had a really nice stay and were able to explore downtown, the biltmore, and hiking all within a few minutes of driving. Would definitely come back!

The house was clean and furnished with towels for our stay. My husband saw a black bear when waking our dog near Helen’s bridge. It was close to the attractions we went to.

We had a fine time. Everything worked and A/C worked well. We only needed one bedroom and wished we had a little more living area space as the second bedroom went unused. I would recommend putting a dimmer on the light over the dining table, and an outlet by the desk in the bedroom.

The location is very central to Asheville, however you have to maneuver a couple sharp turns to get there. Michael, the property manager responded quickly if we needed anything. The cabin is quaint, but needs updating. The beds were very firm. There is no washer and dryer at the property for long stays.

As soon as we walked in, we felt at home and the cabin smelled so good! Like some kind of essential oil! Even the mattresses were nice to sleep on. Very accommodating! I would stay there again in a heart beat! Loved it!
