A very good place for a night near the train station

We wanted a nice place close to the train station for one night, and it was a good choice. We were upgraded to a far better room than booked, with a fantastic view. The bed was the most comfortable of our entire trip in Sri Lanka. Very efficient bathroom with good shower. There is a bus stop right on the big road to get you to Nanu Oya. The staff was kind and discreet.

The cleanliness could be better. Internet was not super stable. TV in the room was great but didn't work.

Nah am Bahnhof, schöner Blick, für die Durchreise ok.max. 1 Nacht.

Fußläufig zum Bahnhof. Blick auf Teeplantagen war schön.

Kein Moskitonetz. Etwas Renovierungsbedürftig. Große Fensterscheibe vorhanden, ließ sich aber nicht öffnen, somit Balkontür offen gelassen, aber alle Viecher kamen rein☹️

Convenient location to catch the train

The location is just 3 min walk from the Nanu Oya station which was the main reason of our stay here because we wanted to catch the early morning train to Ella. The family who runs the guest house was kind and we had everything we needed. The room was quite clean and there is not much else to do around. Good value for money.

That day wasn't really perfect for me because it was raining and couldn't do much so decided to head directly to the hotel and just chill. Luckily the hotel was really nice, room is very comfy and the lady was super kind. I had a very nice heavy breakfast! Location is very near to the railway station, so if you're planning to go to Ella, this place is highly recommended!

Room surrounded by tea plantations

Great location just next to train station. Very comfortable bed, house is surrounded by tea plantations. We just stayed one night as we were travelling but highly recommend the place to charge your batteries.

The location, the panorama, big room, nice bathroom, kind family.

At most of accommodation in Sri Lanka is this problem: there is so called power cut, when no electricity at all every day, at the same time, for one hour, and you sit in the dark, if your phone discharged. No candle, no battery powered lamp support.

Nice place next to Nanuoya train station

Very clean and comfy with fast internet! Right next to Nanuoya train station (6 minute walk) which is handy if catching the train. The view from our bedroom was mainly another building but the other bedrooms seemed to have a gorgeous view of the tea fields!

Location is handy for the train station but 20 minute drive from Nuwara Eliya so just bear in mind if you wanted to spend time in the town.

Lovely hosts. Great place to stay - I chose this for the location... close to the train station - and had time in the morning to visit a couple tea plantations and a couple of waterfalls west of here. I chose a room with a balcony and enjoyed the beautiful view!
