Infrastructure
No clean, lot of mosquitoes inside room, cloths are dirty, poor house keeping

Because the hotel is located in nature, there were lizards on the terrace of the rooms. But they are safe, there is no reason to fear

The water in the pool was warm, good for swimming and relaxing
The room a little brighter if it had been... but was ok

The environment in which we stayed was awesome. In between the forest, a nice pool, very nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. It was a good and nice stay.

I’m we liked the planting within the hotel and the pool was nice. certainly get good value for money. the lads on staff do everything. food was good actually. we went for full board. spaghetti Bolognese was a pleaser!
don’t leave shoes out or the dogs will take them

Beautiful pool!
1.5
Pool was nice (but not very clean)
Food was awful (not even rice was available and the french fries tasted bad). Cook would not even indulge to prepare scrambled eggs even though they had eggs. Service was so slow I could do have done it myself faster with tied hands. Wifi connection was poor.
4.5
Wow, what can I say about Flower Garden Eco except that it is one of the best places we've ever stayed! Rooms modest in amenities but we'll equipped, lovely wet-room showers, great air con and terraces for each. The pool was lovely and cool and well maintained. The food was good, especially the fresh fruit and egg breakfasts. But most importantly, the staff (all young men) were so attentive, so friendly and so welcoming with nothing too much trouble. They even have local tuktuk drivers on tap (shout out to Chaminda for being the best rider/tour-guide in town). In short - if you want a no-frills, humble and ultimately pleasurable stay, stay with the legends at Flower Garden
Occasional power cuts (can't be helped by hotel). If you're not a huge dog person, maybe not the place for you as they have a pet Alsatian...
2.5
The garden was nice and looked after.
The staff didn’t mentioned the regular and multiple powercuts. Dinner could be ordered from menu, but most of the foods ran out. The dishes we were able to order were of european cusine and weren’t good at all meat might be even spoiled. The place should stay with local cusine. Cleaning of the room wasn’t regular and thorough. Pool looked dirty. the road to the place is in really bad shape.
2.5
The rooms were clean enough and had heated water. There is also a pool (though we didn’t swim because the water looked too murky)
For the price we paid through booking.com, it was not value for money. Walk in for better rates.
4.5
Great pool area, restaurant, and highly attentive staff. A 10 minute tuktuk ride away from Sigiriya rock, this is a perfect hotel for a day or two stay in Sigiriya.
Wifi did not reach the rooms.

The place it self is beautiful. This is a great place for relaxing and see the lion rock and dambulla temple etc. Rooms are excellent. Garden and pool are lovely.
The staff is just so bad. Service is hard to get. You actually have to find staff to make a order (spend my money) information given is often not right. Breakfast is either fruit or juice. But they always give fruit and no menu so tourist don't even know about. Which is tricky and also when we got the menu the breakfast seemed to be incomplete. Lion beer wasnt properly cooled.
Basically searching for staff to order a drink, food or any kind of service is not what you should have to do in any kind of place.

Nice swimming pool
Wounderful gardens .
Good breakfast..
Bad odour in toilet
Insect in toilet

Nothing to complain, but should have been a bit of a variation for local guests.
I think there should be a manager who should control the place. The boys who were there was trying their best o serve us.
The rooms are good.

Extremely friendly staff, nice pool and great dinner in the restaurant. We chose unspiced European food, delicious.

Very beautiful place, in the nature, and walking distance from to Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock. Nice pool.
The hotel is nice but does not have the necessary maintenance. The room was not cleaned when we arrived, and they cleaned it only on the third day. They say they accept card payment, but when we would pay, they told us it doesn't work. Impossible to sleep, during the night there is a lot of noise, especially from the hotel dogs barking.
4.0
Beautiful place, big room, very nice staff.
Difficulty communicating in english, hairs on the shower wall, woken up at 6.30 am by the basses of music coming from the restaurant.
3.5
Room had good ac and fan. Hot water shower.
Was clean. Restaurant was good. Staff was nice. Had a front porch and good lounging by the pool. For the price it was good.
Pool was rather murky. There were cute little frogs in the shower and toilet at night. Ants in the room in the morning. Sort of like camping out in a relatively decent hotel room.

The food and service was good, and hotel was relatively clean. The pool and garden area was nice in the day time. Only a 20 min walk to Sirigiya rock.
Avoid this hotel at all costs until the security issue has been fixed.
Gunshots/explosions occured on hotel property from midnight until 4am. Hotel guests were terrified and no hotel staff were available, nor did they answer our calls/messages when we tried to contact them.
The hotel manager was unavailable and no security staff were present. No explanation was given to the incident, and no refund was provided by the hotel or booking.com.
Dreadful hotel stay with zero sleep. Why this hotel is allowed on the site at the moment is beyond belief.

After a bad start in Palmyra Nature "Resort", we decided to spend the rest of our days in Sigiryia at the Flower Garden and our experience was very good.
The hotel staff was very attentive and kind. The service at the restaurant was very good and the food was delicious. Besides, the hotel restaurant always offers a complementary salad/soup and ice cream for dessert.
Our room was big, nicely decorated and was equipped with mini fridge, kettle, TV, air conditioning, fan and a safe. The bathroom was a bit old but it was clean.
The pool was great to relax after a full day visiting landmarks.
Nothing.

Nice garden and swimming pool area. Good location, close to Sigiriya sights. Nice terrace.
A lot of insects in the room (bees, cockroaches). No hot water. Inconvenient bathroom. Could be cleaner.
