Beautiful lakefront home for rent in Arnes, MB, 10 miles north of Gimli located on a quiet residential street comprising of many senior residents. This gorgeous home is a 2000 sq. ft. “A frame” with loft area with French doors leading to the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom complete with a steam shower. Main level has two bedrooms, full washroom and laundry closet. Kitchen and living area is an open floor plan with front wall facing the lake being all large windows. Kitchen has stainless steel appliances, pine cabinets and an island. Features also include high speed wireless internet, a three season sun-room with hot tub, 400 sq ft wrap around deck, 200 sq ft deck over water/beach, aluminum stairs going down to beach/water, HD satellite, steam shower, propane BBQ, and two car garage. Sleeps 8-10. House bed configuration is a king, two queens, two twins which is a daybed with a trundle and plenty of room for a blow-up mattress. In the winter perfect for snowmobiling, ice fishing, or just relaxing!

Beautiful cottage with a relaxed cozy feel! The views were amazing and walking around the area ever so pretty! Definitely worth a return trip!

House was as described, and the host (Jamie) replied to texts very promptly if we had a question, the hot tub and steam bath was essential after a long day of drilling holes chasing walleye! We had 7 guys in the house for some ice fishing on lake Winnipeg. We typically fish down by the mouth so we just trailered to Warner rd, it was a bit out of the way but it wasn’t an issue. We wanted to try fishing out in front of the house but ran out of time.

Everything is what the pictures show, couple small things hottub full of sand, water has pretty unique odor, coffee maker doesn't work, sectuonal is broken but comfy none the less. Overall cabin was fully set up and nice stuff, location was perfect for fishing, and hosting friends would definitely recommend renting to anybody who wants to be off the grid somewhat and relax.

Place was beautiful but we needed to clean upon arrival. Kitchen counters and dishes were filthy. Everything was dusty and hadn’t been vacuumed. Living room couch stained and broken. View was spectacular. Masterbedroom was nice. This place has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t recommend it as is.

The pictures featured the best this cabin had to offer. As expected from reviews, no wood for firepit, no water cooler and the house water was a bit offensive even though we live in a home with well water! The access to to the cabin was easy, nice lakefront spot and very quiet. Beach was lacking at the cabin, but walked along in front of neighbors and to near the marina. Overall the kids liked exploring the beach down the way and it was a good getaway from school, work and making family memories. Access to tv, wifi was perfect for rainly & teen time. Great area to dine together, play games and socialize in open living area. The hot tub was a bit old, slight odor to it and sadly had some sand in it although instructions were clear to shower prior to use.

Enjoyed a relaxing family weekend in beautiful lake front cottage with 4 adults and two happy dogs. Jamie was a welcoming host who stayed at another cottage within walking distance. Hot tub was a nice touch, had a few fires and enjoyed the nearby fireworks show over the lake. Short drive to Gimli to pick up dinner one night and walk the pier and visit a few local shops. Highly recommend the host and property!

Lots of room and comfortable living space. A nice little extra would have been to have some wood included so we could have had a fire in the pit. Also not good drinking water, would have been more convenient to have a water cooler in the kitchen instead of carting bottled water.

The place was huge and clean. We enjoyed our stay especially the hot tub, perfect for the chilly evenings. Would recommend coming in here! ☺️

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The big windows and the lake view were awesome, even if it was cooler outside at times. The hot tub was a great hit. The appliances were new, clean, and worked great. A clothes dryer rack would have been great for the towels after using the hot tub, but the dryer did the job, too. I'm glad I brought some larger cooking pots for our family of 9. We all enjoyed our stay a lot!

We booked this cottage for our employees to stay while working in the area. It was nice to have four beds and a hot tub to enjoy for their stay.
The property is in a quiet cottage area... with a Spectacular view of the lake. It is nice to have a hot tub to Enjoy.

Not the owners fault, but the high water levels made the water access difficult for my aging parents who have mobility issues (beach access was why we picked in the first place), and mosquitoes were terrible, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the outside in the evening.

Rented this property with my husband and 2 adult children. Home was large and comfortable, set right on the lake with a lovely view. Everything we needed for an enjoyable time. Cleanliness could be improved however. Kitchen is aging, mattress covers are stained and hot tub maintenance could be better.

This was a lovely place to stay for a girls getaway. Gorgeous views and spacious. Kitchen was very well stocked and Jamie was helpful in answering our questions. We had a fantastic time there and will treasure our time spent together.
A few improvements could make this 5 stars. Food residue (?) was left on some some of the surfaces; we did feel a need to wipe down counters and tables on arrival. There were no top sheets on some of the beds; we would have felt more comfortable sleeping under a clean sheet. One of the blankets in the upstairs bedroom closet had an unpleasant stain on it - we left it out for the cleaners when we left. The tiles are falling off the wall by the hot tub… not ideal to have them falling while using the hot tub or moving the cover.
Hope this helps the owners make someone else’s stay even better! We would certainly return.

Great Cottage
We rented this cottage for a little ice fishing get-away. There is great fishing nearby at Riverton & Gimli.
The cabin is well-appointed with a well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms.
The hot tub was a great bonus, it was nice to relax in after a long day on the ice.
Communication was great - Jamie was very quick to respond whenever we had questions. Will definitely stay here again, looking forward to checking it out in the summer time!

Great Lake Winnipeg Getaway
This is a lovely property right on Lake Winnipeg. We loved the windows and views. There is lots of space to relax inside and plenty of shoreline to explore. We had an excellent weekend here. Suitable for either family or friends getaway.
