The shared areas of the hotel were quite shabby, but the room, although small was of a reasonable decorative standard and was comfortable. Excellent showering facilities.
The hotel ( stairs and corridors) was shabby.
4.5
Perfect location for our needs, great value for money the staff were lovely
Cannot think of anything, if I have to be critical I would say the scrambled egg but I guess that's purely because I like the way I do it

The bed was horrible. Lumpy and uncomfortable. Heating is nonexistent.

Breakfast was great staff were excellent.
Shower grout needed a good clean . Rotten skirting board by shower. Shower was a bit small .not much room to sit on toilet as tight squeeze.

A cheeky Weekend away for our Wedding anniversary! This place is perfect! So central, breakfast was lovely, the staff were so friendly, only down side was the bed! I have had bk surgery Recently, and my husband, suffers with his shoulders, not very comfortable at all, had to ask for extra pillows, to lie on! A few whiskys helped!
Definitely needing a new bed in that room 203,not sure what the other beds are like.

Decided size rooms shower and toilet
Amazing hallway with a full-size mirror and enough room to iron my dress
Didn't like the window style it felt unsafe so I had it closed the whole night. I would have struggled if it was a hot day

Close to work
Nothing everything was good

nothing.
including £5 parking per day we paid a total of £205 per night, the room wasnt worth £50 per night, it was on a slant, no mattress cover, was uncomfy, turned the shower on and a section of the head fell off, the bathroom sink was that low i needed the door to be open to even clean my teeth while bending over. The bathroom sliding door wasnt even straight with the door frame. the bedroom size was no more than 15ft sq and the bathroom size was 15ft max x 2ft wide. The noise from other room users even when moving about upstairs was that loud you could hear a pin drop. it was that dated a staff member when we left even admitted it needs updating. the TV wouldnt work when we arrived and had to change the batteries (surely things needed to be checked before people use it)

Stayed here many years ago, think they recently had up grade throughout the hotel
My particular room was a little smaller than I expected

Great location for travelling around Pembrokeshire. Always got a parking space (paid for £5 per day)
Only 1 spare plug socket in the room. Old carpet/furnishings, but clean enough. Room was directly on main road/roundabout

The twin beds were actually side by side. You could not walk between them. You had to go sideways one foot following the other as there was not enough room to walk properly between them. No electric light over one of the beds and no electric outlet. The breakfast average. The only thing to recommend the hotel is the location to the Ferry.
The shoebox of a room which should not be advertised for two people was certainly not value for money.
3.5
Dog friendly, convenient location, friendly staff, well priced.
Breakfast had variety but quality of cooked aspect of breakfast could be improved. Bathroom could do with an upgrade, but this is reflected in the price.

We topped and tailed our holiday in Ireland by staying at The County Hotel, as it’s conveniently only 20 minutes from the ferry port. The rooms are very well appointed and clean with everything you would expect. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would like to single out Fay and Lauren who really went the extra mile for my family of weary travellers. The breakfast was really well cooked and the feeling of the overall service was warm and welcoming. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you for being a big part of making our holiday so wonderful and memorable.

Very tired and jaded. noisy position from traffic.

Great location for myself
Armed police at the hotel due to a person being stabbed in the hotel

Had a great stay here. Perfect location on the way to the Fishguard ferry to break the trip. The added advantage was the dog friendliness. Dog was allowed in room and the bar. The place is a bit run down but the room we had (huge double bed and separate room) was excellent. Showers were also brilliant (although a bit dangerous and very hot!).
Could do with a bit of decorating here and there. Room was overlooking main road but with windows shut we could not hear outside. Bar shut early at about 10.00 pm.
