Property was great for a low key gathering with our kids/grandkids.

We had trouble with the water not getting hot shortly after arriving. Texted Kevin and his response was immediate and told us what to do which took care of the problem. He is awesome at responding. You do have to wait a while for the water to get hot but once it does it is hot! Nice location, easy access to Egg Harbor and the water. Like the privacy.

We had a very comfortable stay in Egg Harbor. Kevin was a great communicator and gracious host. We loved the quiet location and cozy feel of the house and especially enjoyed spending time on the screened porch. We would be happy to stay here again!

Stayed here with 9 girls for a bachelorette party. Great location for what we needed & plenty of space for sleeping. Kitchen was well equipped. Only complaint was the cleanliness of the house and things were a bit outdated. For the price and location we would definitely stay again.

Older home on a quiet, no outlet road, right on the Alpine golf course. Kevin is a great host; making sure I was all set for the stay.

The place was very nice and perfect for our weekend stay. The rooms were clean and the whole area was quite beautiful. The owner was also very responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. A perfect place for a weekend getaway.

Plenty of room for all 9 of us to spread out.
Great location for us this weekend, extended family all in the area and close by.
Communication with host was excellent and responsive. Kevin filled us in on some local details and an update on his property before we arrived.

We had a few set backs, but the owner took care of them right away. Location was amazing and the property is very relaxing.

Quiet and comfortable. Minutes to the Main Street and beach. Spacious house with new appliances. Screened in porch with plenty of seating. Wooded area that backed up to a pristine golf course. Best of both worlds; close to restaurants and shopping, yet secluded and private for a restful vacation. Our dog loved it.

We were initiated into our rental with a fully packed kitchen garbage pail. It only got worse from there. This rental is dark, depressing and filthy.
Kevin seems very nice, but unfortunately should NOT be in the VRBO business!

Three generations stayed in this beautiful quiet house! The dining table was big enough for card games. We had air conditioning and a TV in every room. However, there was so much to do that the kids didn't even want to watch TV! The beds were comfy. We sat in the screened-in porch during a storm. So relaxing!

Nice location for traveling around Doir County. Nice house and screened in porch. Owner was quick with responses when contacted.

Stayed with a group of team mates for the Door County Triathlon. Great location. Quiet and in a forest, near hte beach and the town. Communication was great with owner. Definitely bring your own drinking water. Hot water is better in the main bathroom than in the master bedroom. "Sleeps 10" only for kids; the rooms are a double bed in each of two rooms (one with the second bathroom attached) and a third room that has two bunkbeds. The lower bunkeds would fold out to make room for two more small children. We enjoyed the firepit and grill.

Our group of 7 had ample room for cooking, dining, and playing games! Plenty of dishes, etc. Overall place was in nice shape. Kitchen island very helpful. Main bathroom with dated sink and tub. The place is located just a few minutes from Egg Harbor so easy to sightsee. Kevin was easy to work with and very helpful.

We had a fantastic time at the property, Kevin was very respectful and super helpful. The house was well stocked especially in the kitchen! Lots of cookware and dishes, etc, perfect for our large group! Would definitely recommend

The property was great Door County getaway for us. It comfortably fit three couples and the posting/pictures were accurate from the listing. I would recommend packing a case of drinking water as the well water in the area is a bit harsh, but definitely minor. Kevin was easy to get ahold of, great with communication/recommendations, and very accommodating. We had a GREAT time! Definitely recommend!

The property description is very accurate. The three bedrooms / 2 baths made it very comfortable for 2 couples to vacation. The host Kevin is very responsive and easy to work with.

This house is very nice, we had a great time. It is a little older but very comfortable. The communication prior to us getting to the property was great Kevin answered all of my questions immediately and honestly. When we got to the property it was so easy getting in. The house was very clean and ready for my family.. The house is fully stocked with everything we needed. The area is beautiful and conveniently located. Golf course and shops all near by.
The property has well water so if you're not use to that bring water for cooking and drinking. I would have preferred the fire stick in the living room instead of the porch. My family are movie watchers. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you Kevin.

Beautiful Door County location and vibes. Loved being on the 5th hole of the Alpine. The screen porch was amazing! Pls work on your shower water pressure and the color of your well water coming out of faucets. Overall — great stay!

This was a comfortable and beautiful location to stay during our recent trip to Door County. The owner was great to work with and assisted us when needed. Another great getaway to beautiful Door County.

This is a well laid out home that worked great for us. The only thing that could improve is installing a filter for the water. The sulphur smell of rotten eggs in the bathroom was a little strong but overall we had a great time.

THIS PLACE IS NOT MAINTAINED AND IN DIRE NEED OF A DEEP CLEAN AND SAFETY WALKTHROUGH. Note there are no pictures of the bathrooms. I’m sure this is intentional as they’re atrocious! There were more concerns than what’s stated here, but think you’ll get the gist.
The overall condition of the property is not as advertised. Dishes left in dishwasher were covered in food. We ran it again and experienced the same outcome. Host had cleaning lady come out and she hand washed the dishes. Clearly dishwasher is not in working condition and it shows as dishes in the cabinets are dirty, lipstick on wine glasses, etc. Refrigerator was cleared out but not clean, dust bunnies behind beds, towels with huge holes, not one smoke alarm in working condition, the screened in porch needs attention (old and dead leaves all over the floor and filthy carpet), door to screened in porch doesn’t lock, carpets and area rugs are filthy, patio furniture has been duct taped together (one chair completely unusable), powder substance and dead bugs on window sill in primary bedroom, excessive dirt and dust in front hall closet floor, light switch in secondary bedroom operates light and A/C, bathtubs don’t drain and overall are in extremely poor condition with excessive rust stains, mold/mildew, and broken tiles/soap holders. Sinks also have bad rust staining. While this may be due to the area, the sulfur smell while using the water, especially the hot water, is EXTREMELY pungent!
Due to the above and more, we vacated the property after 2 days of our 6-day reservation (that was the soonest we could secure a new place).
I have called VRBO and reported this property as this place needs to be bulldozed! The house is filthy, has a terrible mildew smell (which can be forgiven a bit due to humidity), and the smell of the water rivals that of Yellowstone. I can’t stress enough to read ALL reviews and to steer clear of this place (be sure to go back to 2018 where the host states complaints/issues have been taken care of when they clearly have not been). I wish we had read more of them prior to booking and avoided this disaster. I have sent current photos and video to VRBO so they’re aware of how this place currently looks. If only I could send the pungent egg smell of the water through photo and video. Hands down, this is the worst VRBO we’ve ever stayed in.

We enjoyed our time at the property! The host was very responsive and accurate about the information and property. It is pretty quite and in the woods. It rained one day and it was so beautiful to hear just the sound of the rain without any disturbances of the electronic world. We stayed comfortably. We enjoyed the sunroom a lot and watched a few movies on a rainy day . The property is also close to the public beach at Egg Harbor which was great with kids.
You must bring your own supply of the drinking water which was shared before hand by the host but is worth mentioning because the water on property is not consumable for drinking.
Overall a great stay !

Enjoyed our girl's weekend. Peaceful and good location.

Had fall leaves inside .
We suggest instructions on using TV remotes.
Glad to have notice of bringing bottle water for drinking.

Wonderful location in a beautiful setting. Owner was up front about property needing some upgrades. There were a few minor issues like some tears in the screens on the porch and the refrigerator was in poor condition. However, the water situation was terrible. We knew to bring drinking water, but the water heater obviously needed to be replaced or repaired. The smell of hot water was so terrible, we could not even shower. Our son in law attempted a quick shower and ended up turning on only the cold, the smell was so awful.
Despite those imperfections, the stay was a great family retreat. We enjoyed sitting around the fire, the screened in porch was used daily. The second night was rainy and we used the fireplace in the house. The big couch was perfect for cuddling with the grandkids. Our family was able to sit around the large table to eat and play games. The kids (and parents) loved the secluded road to ride bikes and hover boards. We even hit a few balls on the golf course!
Overall, our stay was a win.

This was just the getaway we were looking for. My wife, myself and our two daughters wanted something a little hidden in Door County but still close enough to the main drag. This was a perfect relaxing long weekend for us. Communication with the owner was great and everything was as described. Recommended!

My husband and our son and daughter-in-law spent a weekend at the 5th Hole. We spent a great deal of time on the screen porch and the fire pit and enjoyed it very much. The owner told us that the water at the property was hard, and some people may not like that. We have relatives who live in Door County and are quite aware of the hard water. The water is hard--but the living is oh, so easy! Thank you Kevin! We had a wonderful time!

This was a great location with a wooded location but close to the beach and the town of Egg Harbor. The cottage was cozy and a fun place to hang out.. Highlights were the large screened in porch and outdoor space with firepit. The living area was open concept. The cottage was clean inside but could use updating. The dishwasher left a limestone film on everything. Bring your own water for drinking and coffee, and scented candles.

Our stay at the 5th Hole was everything my kids and I were looking for in a home to stay at for our vacation. The home is on a lovely, quiet, dead end street, with lots of places for long, country walks. The home itself has everything and anything you could possibly need/want for your stay. The location to Egg Harbor and public beaches was fabulous. Kevin, the owner, is the best! I had forgotten some things at the 5th Hole, and he went above and beyond to make sure to get them to me. The 5th Hole is the perfect place to stay for your vacation In Door Co. Thanks Kevin!

Nice property. It could use a little updating but worked perfectly for our trip. The owner was extremely nice and helpful when asked questions about what to do in the area.

The house was very clean with nice amenities. Was larger than what we really needed as there was only 2 of us but we wanted to bring our dog along. This place was perfect for us as it was somewhat private and yet plenty of place to walk the dog. We did bring along our own water as the water has the strong 'up north' smell. The owner was very nice and helpful and communicates very quickly when contacted. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be off the beaten path but still close to town (Egg Harbor).

It was a lovely cottage country feel with a strip of woods between yard and golf course. Country feel but in a quaint neighborhood and 5 minutes to downtown egg harbor and beach. We roasted s’mores, hit some golf balls, went for walks. We had two couples and 5 kids and really had a great time. The owner was great and available for any questions and suggestions. Super friendly and helpful. We watched cable but struggled with the fire stick but we brought our own so that was fine. I didn’t realize it didn’t have laundry facilities. Not a big deal but I should have realized before packing. Lol. We would definitely go again and suggest to others!

Property was very clean and well suited for our needs, which included traveling with dogs. Property does need some upkeep, but overall provided for a good rental experience.

Great location. Seems like camping but close to Egg Harbor with good restaurants and shops. We loved the screened back porch with flat screen TV. Close to good hiking at Peninsula State Park and White Fish Dunes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Kevin the owner was really great to talk to and helpful with our stay. His kindness and helpful phone call gave us a great feeling. The home is dated and could stand updateing to both bathrooms. The cabin has a cabin odor making it feel musty and if water hasn't run it will smell like rotten eggs from the sulfur in the water. This is not the owners fault as this is part of the mineral deposits in the well water. You can run the water and it will go away after a period of running. The golf course provides a private feel and nice open place to walk.
