Good location next to the ferry terminal.
Right next to the bar and its music

Shower needs clean grout

schöne Zimmereinrichtung
kein hauseigener Restaurantbetrieb und kein frisches Frühstück, da die Küche geschlossen ist

Bedroom and bathroom newly renovated, mattresses very comfortable, bedroom and bathroom spotless clean, view over Loch Broom stunning, staff very friendly. Continental breakfast only, no lunch and dinner which is very understandable for this time of the year. It's January. This was our weekend off and we enjoyed it and relaxed very well. We asked for a second chair as we stayed in our room a whole afternoon due to storm Jocelyn and her sibling the rain and it was taken to our room immediately.

Location was very nice.
Would have liked a cooked breakfast.

Located directly on the seafront
Room I stayed in was on the ground floor and I couldn’t open the window in hot weather due to many people outside the window on the night. The room was painted bright white and was very sparse it seemed a little bit more like substance over function and to be honest it wasn’t much substance the blinds didn’t go to the bottom of the window which light light in So when it was time to come to sleep the room was bright and not dark at all. The price of the hotel I thought was overpriced for what you’ve got, I have to say that the shower was fantastic and the breakfast was good too. Not worth the £115.00 a night price tag.

Chambre correcte, sobre et propre
L'accueil est inexistant, sinon pour demander le paiement. Pour le reste, c'est comme s'il n'y avait personne.
Le petit déjeuner (buffet continental) est médiocre, dans une salle sinistre.

Good location and lively pub
Tiny room, hear everything fir all surrounding rooms

The room was very clean and a good size. The view of the loch from the room was stunning. The staff were very welcoming and attentive.
All in all a very good night's sleep in a nice comfortable bed.
Very Happy.

We spent only one night in Ullapool and am glad we made the decision to stay at the Arch Inn. The room was cozy and clean. We loved the view outside our room as it was facing the loch.
As we were on the ground floor, and facing the road, the noise from the patrons of the bar once they come out can be a bit noisy. Other than that, everything else was lovely.

The impromptu folklore jamming session in the bar area was brilliant but had nothing to do with the actual hotel, they were just locals playing, but created a fantastic atmosphere.
This hotel was the most expensive by far out of our 7 different stays whilst travelling the North Coast 500. The difference in quality and standard of cleanliness were palpable. The rooms overlooked a smoking area which was unkept. Whilst the rooms were adequate and clean, and apparently recently upgraded, the areas of modernisation could not be separated from the tired and dated decor. This was the only hotel on our travels not to provide a full breakfast,. Do not confuse the Arch Inn continental breakfast with that you would expect when travelling around Europe. On a plus note, the tea was hot.

Room were clean. The location was perfect in term of catching the morning ferry but also had a stunning view,?especially in the late summer evening light. Great music and dancing happening in the pub downstairs!

Breakfast was good but l would have rathered a 7 am start as opposed to 8

Great location, perfect for a stop over

The Arch Inn was very easy to find and boy did it have a view. We checked in at the bar quickly and easily, then was shown to our room who was on the lower level. We had one very large king bed and a single for our daughter, plenty room for all 3 of us. Shower room was big and had an accessible shower for anyone with mobility issues etc.
The bar was good fun with lots of travellers from all over the world live music was on the night we stayed. Children allowed in the bar until 10pm and dogs very much allowed.
Simple continental breakfast in the morning with toast offered too and was more than adequate.
Would we stay here again definitely!

The shower
The view over the bar. Cramped bed. Noisy bathroom. Breakfast was terrible

Pretty much everything: the location, the room, the character.
It's a shame that proper Scottish breakfast was not available--only cold foods, granola, toast etc. I suspect that this is due to the broader problems in the Highlands, i.e. the kitchen/waiting staff shortage following Brexit and the pandemic, but still.

Room was clean. Beds comfortable.
Not much choice for breakfast. Coffee was very weak.

Restaurant closed for evening meals, breakfast was continental adequate but not very exciting. Excellent position for catching morning ferry. View from room amazing.

The staff made us feel welcome and were really helpful.
When we booked in Ullapool we had hoped to go out to a restaurant for dinner with wine however everywhere was shut apart from an Indian restaurant that offered no alcohol. The staff at the Arch were aware of this and offered us plates and cutlery for eating a takeaway in the bar.
The room had a great view, was clean and comfortable.
There was a good continental breakfast.

The room was clean and had a Nespresso machine and a nice view of the harbour.
It was terribly cold in there in mid-winter - the bathroom had no heater and was like a refrigerator. The breakfast room was also chilly.

we had lovely view to wake up to
unfortunately no food was been served and breakfast was just continental

Spotlessly clean, on the doorstep for the ferry to Stornaway, extremely helpful, friendly staff
Room was cold when we arrived (on a cold December night), no food being served which, after a v long drive north, with few opportunities to stop & eat, woul have been v welcome given the limited opportunities In Ullapool. Mine host did point us in the direction of the local Indian takeaway which we were v grateful for & let us eat it in the pub 🙏

Well located within walking distance of the ferry and town. The rooms were clean and refurbished.
It was not clear where to check-in. Once we discovered where to check-in (at the bar), the person was not friendly and was more communicative with the very loud and offensive (lots of swearing) men in the bar. She continued taking their drinks orders and serving them while we stood for an extended period like shags on a rock. After we checked in we realised the place was becoming more and more raucous and the room we were in was right next to the road and the main thoroughfare to the bar. Within an hour we made the decision to leave and caught the ferry to Stornaway and stayed there instead. Once again - when we checked out early - no-one cared at all about us. More interest in the drunken louts in the bar. We totally wasted our money and did not stay the night. We still don’t know that the hotel management even knows this fact!!!

Nothing to be loved
Firstly, I booked a room with one double bed and one single bed, however, when I checked in there was only a room with three single beds for me to choose from. Secondly, the soundproofing of the room was not good and I could hear people walking on the first floor from the ground floor. Thirdly, parking was a bit difficult. Fourthly, the waiter was handsome but not welcoming and professional enough. Fifthly, both breakfast and dinner tasted very mediocre
