Estancia en Santiago en el centro

Está limpio y la señora que lo lleva es un encanto. La ubicación es sin duda lo mejor que tiene, está en pleno centro y encima acepta mascotas. Nosotros siempre que venimos nos alojamos aquí.

Poner algún enchufe más por ejemplo estaría bien pero hemos estado muy agusto.

El baño es diminuto, y la ducha casi no se cabia, ademas el baño tenia moho en las paredes y el water estaba sucio.

La ubicacion

El olor a fritanga del bar te sube hasta la habitación. Instalaciones bastante antiguas de ahí el precio es bastante asequible. El baño es privado pero está fuera de la habitacion, un poco raro pero privado solo para nuestra habitacion. El baño súper antiguo pero limpio, cumple su función. El bar no da desayunos , a las 9.30 estaba cerrado

Limpieza inexistente. . No cambian las sábanas de un huésped a otro ya que, cuando entré yo,habían siscos y pelos en ellas. Habitaciones muy antiguas. Las que tienen baño en la habitación,es tan pequeño que, se puede decir, que en el mismo hueco meas y te bañas y, su dejas las puerta del baño abierta, te ven los del edificio de enfrente. El lavamanos se encuentra en la habitación y no en el baño. En el apartamento 22 el único enchufe que hay, se encuentra bajo el lavamanos, lo que lo hace muy peleigroso. El wc es de tirar de la cadena. Pero, lo que más me disgustó de todo fue la limpieza que brilla por su ausencia. Lo único bueno es que, si haces el Camino de Santiago, el alojamiento de encuentra detrás de la plaza del Obradoiro.

Baño en el dormitorio. Excelente ubicación en edificio antiguo bien conservado. Amabilidad del personal al cual no habían avisado del horario de la llegada. Precio.

Recomendable

Fue mi última parada después de hacer el camino de Santiago con mi perrete. La ubicación muy buena y el trato del personal estupendo, me guardaron la mochila después del check out durante todo el día mientras hacía turismo. En la habitación hay ducha y pica, pero el WC es compartido a parte.

Instalaciones son antiguas pero están reformadas apañadas.

Friendly small hotel

Very friendly and kind staff. The owner (an elderly lady) spoke the best English, but everyone was kind and trying their best to help. Loved the old shutters of my room that made the room pitch black. Great for a good night’s sleep. They have a small restaurant downstairs with decent prices for its great downtown location. My room was small but had character and it’s own tiny bathroom.

The bar across the street is busy until about midnight so earplugs or a white noise app might come handy if you’re sensitive to noise.

What makes this place excellent is the staff. Avelina is an angel, what a wonderful person! She is kind, sweet and helped me finding places to go and the best routes in town. Monse is very kind,, has great service skills, and cooks very well ! They make you feel home.

Location was fine

First of all, I stayed 2 nights in this hostal and the wifi didn’t work even for a minute. I couldn’t even connect with my phone or computer. There wasn’t an additional heater and they were closing the central heater at the evening,therefore the rooms were cold. Shower was so thin and small that I wasn’t able to take shampoo from the floor. Even though I paid for a room with private toilet, the toilet was on the corridor and there was no information about it while I was buying.

Exceptional

From the other comments it might seem that this place is completely abandoned. But that's completely not true. It is a family business. Here is just one of the examples. I had to leave with 6 a.m. train, the host woke up before me just to unlock the medieval outside door (I could have certainly done that myself). She simply cared to make my morning smoother.

Off season bonus? Private room with ensuite bathroom for a price of a hostel bed. This does not seem a fare price for the owner.. And yes, the place is in the middle of the old town. So you could hear bells and street. Santiago is probably not for you if you expect a desert like silence.
