A good budget place to stay in Santiago Atitlan

We just spent a night here as we had a really early start the next day for a trip. The room was fine and there’s a well stocked kitchen with a big table and a sofa area. The staff are super friendly.

Exceptional

Incredibly friendly staff. Will help you with anything you need, even when you don't necessarily ask for it. While cooking, we where opening a can of diced tomatoes with a pocket knife, and the lady saw us struggle and gave us a can opener. Little things like that really warmed out hearts. The room itself is nice. On the smaller side, but since there's a big communal area you won't need much space. The kitchen was also nice. They've got pretty much all you should need. Once again it's the communal living room adjacent to it that did it for us. Towels and soap included, and there's a tv in the room (if you'd ever want to use it). Breakfast is 't included, can be ordered. It was tasty and filling, but a little more expensive than elsewhere (we paid 50Q for the biggest plate I believe).

You can hear the traffic from the street in the communal area. I guess you could close the windows, but it can get a bit warm inside.

Overall an a great experience!

This was a very nice hotel, where I got to have my own tiny room inside the bigger dorm. The dining area and the balcony on that floor was very nice as well! The hotel is also only a couple of minutes of walking away from the central park.

Very nice staff, can cook great food. Got towels and soap.

Single room was just a small box fitting only a bed divided by fake thin wall from another of these *boxes*. Not even high to the ceiling. So they turned one real room into 3 small *boxes*. Locked with a small padlock. Not a great value for the price.

great place to stay in Santiago Atlitan

very clean and quick hostel with a variety of rooms from single to double to shared, with communal kitchen and a restaurant offering home cooked meals, Heidi a lovely lady was very kind and attentive, we had meals every day we stayed, she cooks incredibly.

Great value for location. I was in the dormitory but I had a private space. There weren't other guests in the other 2 rooms. It was clean and quiet.

Great value for your buck. Simple but very comfortable. Incredibly attentive staff.

The place is clean and the rooms are spacious.There is a common space with a small kitchen and balcony. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. We hiked up the Toliman volcano and came back at 1 pm. They still let us shower and relax and did not rush us to check out at all. very sweet people. Best of all is the price!!

We liked it very much

Veery nice staff and very comfortable bed (the most comfortable bed on our trip so far)! The reception is also a small restaurant. They offer food, which they will freshly cook and which is very good. The location is right in the center (lots of streetfood stalls and the mercado nearby). There's a shared kitchen, but we only used it to heat something up so I can't really say anything about it. We only stayed for one night, but liked it very much.

The room looks like as if it was something out of the Blair Witch Project with spiders and no windows. Super pricy for what if is.
