Harde bedden.

Host was lovely. Helpful and friendly. The place was great, clean and with a splendid sea view. Breakfast was very good too.

Rosa was an excellent host! She communicated thoroughly in advance of our arrival, and was available throughout our stay whenever we had questions or needed assistance.
Our room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was lovely, and our small private “front porch” was just private enough to give us space from the other guests.
The pool area is quite pretty and the pool itself was very refreshing. Oh, and what an exceptional view of the coast!
Lack of A/C might deter others, but it also helps one appreciate the refreshing hillside breezes that drift in. 😉
4.5
The large apartment with two toilets, the cleanliness, the welcome and goodbye, the prompt action of a difficulty, the views, the pool.
Bit sticky getting to it for the last few yards! You’d have difficulty with a large car.

This is a wonderful small family run hideaway. Just four bedrooms, so when you've had enough of the crowds you can escape. The view from the terrace across the bay is spectacular. Rosa and her husband are kindness itself and even though you may not share a language they still manage to explain how to get around using the buses and where to go. Also it's very close to the start of the "Path of the Gods" hiking trail - which if you like that sort of thing, is a must.
The bed was a little hard and the bathroom could use an update - but don't let that out you off - this is a great place to be. With regard to the Amalfi Coast itself, it helps to be a confident driver for the narrow roads and hill starts. But generally, use public transport as parking is impossible everywhere and very expensive whereas the bus is dirt cheap. Rosa will advise and can supply bus tickets.

View is very good from the property.
Insects at night was a issue if the doors are left open but that is more an issue with the area rather than the property itself.

Room was simple and clean. The view was stunning. Breakfast and coffee were really good. Property was beautifull.
When we had time to go, we didn’t really want to left this place. We wanted to stay and enjoy the beautiful view as long as possible. I wanted to write the best review. A couple of later after we left, we noticed that one of residences towels was in our car. We couldn’t go back, we would miss our flight. We knew we had to pay about the towel.
Later we received a message from owners how we left the room in miserable condition and stole the towels. I was in total shock. We left the room as the same it was. Made the bed, everything. And they claimed that 2 towels were missing.
I was so sad and dissapointed. I have never experienced such rude people, who offend. We were so happy about our stay, but now our whole Italy trip was ruined.

Located in a beautiful quiet town with stunning views
Room was a comfortable size
Staff were very helpful in providing information
Breakfast was optional, enjoyable and cheap
Great swimming pool with view
Public transport is not easily accessible and the property is not within walking distance of Amalfi/ Positano etc. It is much better to have your own mode of transportation

The hosts (and their dog Fibby) were very kind and welcoming. The location was incredible, with a magical view over the sea. Tasty breakfast that is served by the table, where you can choose between a salty or a sweet one.
There is a walking distance to Agerola, where you can take the bus to Amalfi or walk straight to the start of the Path of Gods.
We would really want to come back some day!
The room was a bit humid, apart from that there is nothing to complain about.

The authenticity of staying in this village in the hills was so peaceful and relaxing. Our hosts were so helpful.
The bus into Amalfi is in town which is a good 15 minute walk which may not suit some people but we did not mind as we got to meet some lovely dogs, chickens and pigs on our walks to and from the village centre. If you want peace and tranquility this is ideal..

Host Rosa wouldn't check us in after 9pm. It wasn"t our fault that our flight was delayed. She told us to find somwhere else to stay for the 1st night. Had to book a room last minute which genereted additional cost. Also she agreed to refund first nigght aftrt booking.com aproval, but denied it afterwards. Entry road to the property is dangerous and non existend tbh.
Generally unpleasent stay. Rude, didhonest and unhelpfull host. Bed was unvomfortable and pillows felt like stones. Defo need upgrading.
Also inside wardrobe smell was really bad. Would NOT recomend to anybody.

Reidence Eden is a delightful hidden gem. Perched on the very top edge of the cliffs it offers the very best views. The location is quiet and well away from the hussle and bussle of the busy villages on the coast road, yet just a 15 minute walk inland gets you to a number of lovely restaurants shops and bars. This place is wonderful if you are wanting a more italian holiday with less posing and away from the commercialism you find in the middle of Amalfi, Positano and the rest. It is wonderful for walkers with 5 of the most popular walks statrting just 15 minutes away.
The residence is a great find and used by local italian families for quick 2 day getaways so you may not always get to meet and greet your neighbours as much as you might want.

Rosa is very friendly and helpful, and the views were amazing. You have to know before you go how hilly and rural it is. The roads are tiny and winding, but it’s very peaceful.
The sounds of others (and presumably ours) travels and we could hear others sometimes. (I had to disturb (by knocking) a couple enjoying themselves as I was worried my children would hear 🙈 and I wasn’t ready to explain why she was moaning!) Also it was slightly chilly on the tiled floors but we were there in April so wouldn’t be a problem in summer. When the heating came on it was lovely and warm. Neither of these would stop me returning.

Clean, comfy, very kind staff. The view (on a nice weather). The fact that you can order pizza to your room from a local pizzeriz.
It's a bit of a drive from the coast.

Nice view, terrace, clean and spacious room, parking spot, host allowed us to check in 2h earlier
Unfortunately we did not enjoy our four days stay there and did not rest at all, because of the noise every single morning
It is my mistake that I did not first check all the Google reviews here to see that a lot of people already complained about the noise
Since day one, I had to wake up at 6.30 in the morning, because apparently the indoor and outdoor dining area, as well as the owners’ place were above our room and they kept moving furniture and pouring down things the WHOLE time
During vacation, you are supposed to relax and rest and sleep 1-2h more than a normal working days, but this was not the case here, since from 6.30 and afterwards we couldn’t find any peace and quite
This was really frustrating and of course affected the mood and energy of the whole day
The 3rd night I politely asked the owner to be a bit quieter and to please not push the furnitures but rather lift them, I even translated everything in Italian in mu phone, but idk if the host understood me, since she does not speak any English and actually the next morning they were even more noisy
I have a lot of video recordings with furnitures moving, things falling down, loud discussions, but that does not change the end result
The road to the place is also quite long and not easy, as this residence is the last one on the mountain and if you want to visit other places you have to drive down and up the whole mountain (25’) and the last 3’ minutes drive are not a normal asphalted road, but a small passage that can barely fit a small car
It was often foggy, personally I liked it a lot, but I would not recommend it for inexperienced drivers, as it could be quite dangerous to drive up there

Wonderful view, friendly house owners and delicious breakfast.

We really enjoyed the view and the calm area.
This suits those who have their own vehicle since it’s difficult with bus and transportation from Eden residence.
The apartment was old and we had some difficulty with the gas.
The owner was helpful tough
3.5
it was extremely beautiful! the host helped us with a ride to the airport and the owners dog became a good friend of ours- the kitchen has so many appliances which was nice for cooking pasta when I worked remote- the wifi worked extremely well for how far up on the mountain we were
the location is not close to much and the bus stops into amalfi and positano are not often
for anyone taking buses they need to know to take a bus to amalfi (or ferry) and then the agerola bus up- the walk from the stop right past a beautiful restaurant (I forgot the name) is about a 10-15 min walk
the house is also right next to a farm with cows and pigs so the walk to the bus stop smells like manure

Host is amazing. Amazing view and rooms

Great surrounding, lovely family, friendly prices. The family dog Fibby was hiking with us and later joined us at the pizza bar 🙂
We were travelling by local transportation. The hike from Fjordo di Furore was unexpectedly extreme (stairs, 1 km = 1h), but it was worth it!

The owner was very friendly and welcoming to us and easy to reach by phone or messages anytime. She prepared our breakfast for us which was not exceptional but okay. The view from the room was very nice in good weather and the vineyard under the terrace would be beautiful in summer. The room was big and cleanly managed.
We stayed in January and the heating was not great so whole stay I was freezing. The room has cold tiles on the floor which made it more cold than outside in the morning. The road and the parking at the residence is very very tight. If our car was big, it would have been impossible to reach there.

Such a place and such nice and welcoming people deserve a Booking Award! Fabulous views of the Mediterranean sea, friendly and lovely hosts, always there to help, comfortable room and the silence.. oh the silence was wonderful, only the sea and the sky. Good italian breakfast and great coffee, once even made by signora Rosa's little nephew. :)
We recomend it wholeheartedly and hope to return one day!
Grazie, signora Rosa!

Hostess Rosa is wonderful.
Wi-fi could be a bit better. It worked, but not very fast.
