Kleines, liebevoll geführtes B&B am Fluss in Tavira

Kleines B&B sehr zentral in Tavira. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, viele selbstgemachte Marmeladen, frische Brötchen, Obst und alles was das Herz begehert. Bea ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Prakrisch für uns war auch, dass sie deutsch spricht. Sie hat uns unter anderem auch ein Taxi zum Flughafen in Faro (ca. 40 km, 50 Euro) bestellt, was wirklich super praktisch war. Unser Zimmer war zwar recht klein, aber sauber und für zwei Nächte gut ausreichend. Für mehr Nächte könnte es mit zwei Koffern vielleicht doch etwas eng werden, aber es gibt notfalls auch einen Schrank um Sachen unterzubringen. Als wir ankamen, stand einne Flasche Trinkwasser mit Gläsern bereit. Das einzige was uns etwas gestört hat, war dass auch nachts immer etwas Licht von außen in das Zimmer schien und es dadurch nachts nicht ganz dunkel war. Aber da empfindet ja jeder anders, was dunkel genug ist :) Das Bett ist bequem und das Zimmer liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist zwar klein, aber sauber und hat für uns voll ausgereicht. Auch der Sitzbereich außerhalb der Zimmer ist super schön gestaltet wie ein Wohnzimmer. Es ist dort Wasser und Kaffee/Tee bereit gestellt. Gute Kommunination mit der Gastgeberin, problemloser Check-in. Besonders haben wir geschätzt, dass uns Bea das Geld für das zweite Frühstück zurückerstattet hatte (obwohl ursprünglich von uns mit Frühstück gebucht), weil wir sehr früh morgens abreisen mussten und dadurch leider das leckere Frühstück am zweiten Morgen nicht einnehmen konnten. Das war wirklich sehr aufmerksam von ihr :-)

Clean, comfortable room near the heart of Tavira

Bea was a wonderful host! Our room was cozy, cute and comfortable, away from potential noise from the street. Breakfast was prepared to order by Bea herself, with pastries, fruit, yogurt and fresh squeezed OJ.

The bathroom was pretty small, but then this is an old building so that's how they used to build them! Also the front stairs are quite steep and a little difficult to climb with luggage, but there's also a back entry that's much easier to use.

The room and the bathroom are a little small but we were there for only one night so it was sufficient for us.

There is no hotel parking, which we knew. It’s not a very long walk from the public parking by the gym, later on we got a spot in front of the hotel.

Comfortable, felt like being home and the town is so beautiful.

We just loved the atmosphere and the facility. It felt like being home and Bea was just wonderful! This was our favorite place, town and accommodation during our Portugal visit. Thanks for a great stay Bea! Breakfast was wonderful.

A sweet set of apartments with humble rooms and a friendly host in a good location.

Bea was a really lovely host, she had a chat with us, gave us some local recommendations and stored our luggage after checkout.

Breakfast was out of our budget at 8€ which was a shame because everyone said how good it was. The room we were in although clean and comfortable only had one small frosted window.

Close to all you need

Close to everything we were doing, the ferry to the beach is just by it. It had a good common kitchen.

The room was very small and the air con was noisy. Never saw the host or any other people there.

great value for the location

the location was amazing. right on the river front and in the heart of the action. without being noisy. very easy to walk across the river to the many restaurants there or to the ferry to Tavira Island. Bea was very helpful in making dinner reservations and sharing suggestions. breakfast was lovely though we only used it one of two days as we are not hearty breakfast eaters so the 8 euro cost was not a good value for us.

our bedroom was plain and charmless. the common areas were a little better.

Excellent pity Bea couldn’t make the sun come out.

All I have just said. Walk out the door your in the centre of town. We didn’t need anything but I get the feeling Bea would have gone out of her way to help. We pop up to Tavira often and we will be staying here from now on.

Wonderful location, room and hostess

Location is ideal. The Hostess (Bea) is wonderful and thought of everything... even for our little Frenchie. The room was very small but quaint and had its own bathroom. Nothing fancy but very cute.

The room was so comfortable with a fabulous bad and pillows. Bea is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble.

I liked everything. A kettle in the room would be lovely, but that is because I love to have a cup of tea as soon as I awake.
