About this apartment rental

Shotover Ridge is a stylish and spacious first floor 2 bedroom apartment very well equipped with all the amenities you would expect for a peaceful, quality stay. Situated on a ridge above the famous Shotover River, the apartment enjoys first sun in the mornings and last sun in the evenings. It has two decks facing east and west giving guests no less than 3 dining options including a BBQ, a breakfast bar and a formal mahogany dining room for something special. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern, full size appliances along with quality utensils, extensive crockery, cutlery and glassware. The apartment has a full laundry including a washer, drier and ironing facility. Extremely well insulated, with great heating and ventilation options, the apartment provides excellent accommodation year round. Two private double bedrooms (1 x super king, 1x queen) are placed at either end of the apartment and there is an optional extra to convert the dining room into another double bedroom to accommodate 3 couples. Situated within Queenstown's newest business and shopping centre at Frankton, our guests can avoid the holiday, ski and peak hour traffic when embarking on travel adventures around the district. Within 1.5 km there are no less than 48 eateries or takeaways including 3 major Supermarkets and 3 Pubs. However, the centre of Queenstown is still only 15 minutes away, and the airport only 5. All the rental car depots are within minutes of Shotover Ridge.

We had a great stay at John and Ann’s apartment in Frankton. It is in an interesting location great for exploring Queenstown and environs. Tis in a business park cleverly using second floor for living spaces- and surprisingly beautiful/ calm space/ views from the large back patio. Comfortable living room, bedrooms and great kitchen, and laundry. Short walk to grocery, pub, shops. Clear instructions, very timely communication, welcoming and nice local family history in pictures etc! Would happily return if back in the area!

Would rate this higher if I could. Perfect in every way. John and Ann thought of everything to make the stay so comfortable. All you required was in the apartment. The view is so beautiful. And the place was very private and quiet.

Host was just lovely, even allowed us to drop of baggage early and carried it up the stairs for us. Property presented beautifully with hot soup and bread waiting for us on arrival. Views are amazing, and despite being in a business area, was still quiet and peaceful.

We had such a awesome two night stay in this gorgeous Apartment!! We were welcomed with hot soup and a lovely warm apartment and not to mention such gorgeous views!! Apartment was spacious and comfortable and we had the best night sleep ever on such a comfortable bed!!! Very handy to all amenities and easy parking. Would highly recommend if you want to treat yourself whilst staying in Queenstown!! Thank you John and Ann for being so accommodating and letting us stay in your beautiful apartment! 10/10

From climbing the stairs to meeting our lovely hostess, Ann, from being told about her family photos and adventures to sampling her delicious homemade soup and toasts, from soaking in the spectacular views to watching the aircrafts coming in to land our experience has been wonderful. Appreciated the Nespresso coffee. It took a while to get the unit to cool down from very hot. We enjoyed the history and notes about the owners as well sitting on the balcony at night watching the planes come in. Overall a comfortable stay

Lovely apartment equipped with everything you could possibly need. Great location with fantastic views. Very comfy beds. Big tv. Would highly recommend to anyone. Light sleepers would need to sleep in the back bedroom as is located in a retail park and early noise in week but very quiet rest of the time. Great big balcony with comfy seats to sit and admire the wonderful views. We had few cold days but apartment equipped with extra heaters. Washing machine, dryer and ironing board very useful.

The interior decoration is very pretty, the kitchen has all the appliances needed, even the dishes are nice - everything in matchy colors! They have a fine varanda with a pretty view. The location is very handy. We will definetly go back! It is a place to call home!
