An ok stay but with so many hotels in the area to pick from I would not stay here again.

The room and the bathroom were both quite pretty and nicely decorated. It is near to the hustle and bustle of the Galata Tower.

The room smelt bad so I had to open the window - but couldn't keep it open all the time since the noise from the street was very loud. You could really hear the noise even with the windows closed (and I am usually not that bothered by noise- stayed in busy Karaköy before this). There seemed to be some renovations going on and the stairs were full of stuff which from a safety perspective was not good. It was difficult to get the wifi to work (you needed to register your pass port number and there was problems doing that (and I could only get wifi on one of my two phones)- but got help from the staff at reception).

Not a bad stay, but not for picky people

The location was perfect. We chose it because of the lively neighbourhood - you are in the heart of one of the best tourist spots in Istanbul, close to everything. Breakfast was at a nice restaurant right near the Galata Tower, you had a good selection of traditional Turkish dishes to choose from. Hotel staff was welcoming and always nice. There is a car park very near the hotel with decent prices.

We expected the rooms to be small considering the location, but it was VERY misleading how they presented them in the pictures. Considering my partner is almost 2m tall, the bed was more fitting for a child. No TV in the room, the shower should really be redone (broken shower door, dirty mouldy tiles, broken shower head), and there was no space to put your luggage. There were some renovations happening in the hotel, so maybe in the future there will be something more to it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience. Firstly, the location was absolutely perfect - situated right in the heart of Istanbul, it was incredibly convenient for exploring the city and accessing all the attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always on hand to assist with any inquiries or requests. One of the highlights of my stay was the design of the room. Despite being on the smaller side, it was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully laid out. As someone who values comfort and coziness, I found the room to be more than enough for myself and my sister. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. With its perfect location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and cozy room design, it truly exceeded my expectations and made for a memorable stay.

Wunderschönes Hotel für einen Städtetrip

Das Zimmer war toll, liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr geräumig. Das Personal ist super nett. Die Lage ist perfekt, um den Stadtteil zu Fuß zu erkunden. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und Extrawünschen (zB. eine 2. Decke) sind sie sofort nachgegangen. Nebenan ist ein cooles Café zum frühstücken oder nur Coffe to Go holen.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße raus, das war schon etwas laut. In der Straße ist zwar nicht viel los, aber wenn ein Auto/Müllwagen kommt hört man es schon sehr.

Sehr gut gerne wieder!

Das Personal war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und äußerst höflich. Dies ist nicht unsere erste Reise nach Istanbul, da ich einige Hotels bereits besucht habe, die auch deutlich teurer waren, ist dieses hier das Zentralste, wenn man als Paar oder mit den Freunden einen Urlaub plant. Die schöne Aussicht zum Galata-Turm, die wunderschöne Terrasse, Abends einfach nur zum Genießen. Wer die Stadt erkunden und zugleich gutes essen in der Umgebung möchte, ein zentrales Hotel sucht, sollte hier hin! Gerne wieder! Kommen definitiv wieder.:) Tesekkürler Mehmet Bey!

All in all fine.

Location was good. It's in a nice neighborhood on a quiet street. The Roof terrace was really nice and had a fabulous view.

Noisy neighbors. The hotel arranged airport transfer (great), but then the hotel didn't take credit card, so I had to walk around looking for a bank to take out money for the airport transfer. Would have been easier for me to just take a cab myself to/from the airport then.

Eine tolle Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip!

Das Zimmer an sich war wirklich schön! Man hatte einen tollen Ausblick auf den Galata Tower und die belebte Straße. Ein toller Ausgangspunkt, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Das Bett war bequem. Für eine Person vollkommen ausreichend!

Great! Better than we expected actually

Staff are wonderful, amazing location and the aesthetic is really nice

With it being so central, it is a little noisy outside (bars not cars though - so in some sense that's nicer).

Gut um zu schlafen und gleich morgens Instanbul unsicher zu machen.

Lage war perfekt. Es war abends etwas lauter, aber wenn man in so einer belebten Straße unterkommt ist das völlig in Ordnung. Räume waren stilvoll ausgestattet. Von Balkon hatte man einen wunderschönen Blick aus den Galata Turm und das ganze Gewusel in der Gasse. Für ein Kurztrip völlig ausreichend.

Sauberkeit war ok. In den fünf Tagen wurde der Mülleimer entleert und frische Handtücher gebracht, mehr auch nicht. Toiletten wurden in der Zeit gar nicht saubergemacht. Schade.

Sehr saubere Unterkunft und Rezeption Hasan Bey war sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit!

It was nice to visit Istanbul, but rather loud and hot at the hotel!

The location was nice for day exploration.

Although the location was nice for day exploration but at night the streets were very loud and this was during the week (not on the weekend). The street was lively until around 2-3am every night - unfortunately this made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Most things and services met our expectations; however, the mattress was too soft for us. It felt a bit beaten even though all was clean. The location is the highlight of the hotel as it's super close to the Galata Tower as well as the front desk lady was super friendly and resourceful.

The place is located right in the heart of Galata. Really great shower and lovely decor.

It's great but a bit noisy at night. While the room was super cute, there was no door handle to close the bathroom door from the inside - it was on of those folding doors. I was staying with my partner so this was a bit inconvenient.

Noisy hotel in Gelata Tower touristy area

I liked the location just a block from. Gelata Tower and within walking distance of most of Istanbul's sightseeing areas. I also liked the style of the hotel with art and "old things" littered around the rooms and public areas.

It was very noisy due to its location near the Tower and near so many restaurants and bars along the streets. Every night there were loud people on the street outside my window until 3 or 4 in the morning. The bed was not comfortable and sagged in the middle so I had an achy back most of the time I was there in Istanbul. The staff were not very friendly or helpful to me during my stay. And I didn't like that, while artsy, the hotel room had a bare minimalist look. There was no television (that I could find), no nice amenities, no additional amenities (toothpaste, Q-tips, etc.).

Great staff, rooms and location, some details need attention.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Contacted me to let me know the room was ready early after dropping luggage in the morning, provided helpful tips, and handled issues efficiently. Rooms very pretty and good views. Good elevator. The rooftop terrace is located next door, but really does offer amazing views of the Golden Horn and Galata Tower. No breakfast is no issue - some of Istanbul's best breakfasts are around the corner.

Originally assigned wrong (smaller) room, which was corrected from day two. Check-in area is small (no dedicated storage room for luggage or sitting area/lobby). Bathrooms are nice, but tap had water pressure issues and toilet seat was loose. These details are important. Recommend the property give them a check periodically!
