About this cabin rental

Remodeled modern cabin in Big Bear Lake, Ca . Close to everything! Walking distance to the village. Great hiking and biking trails. View of the lake. Great to see the Fireworks for the 4th of July!
It is a few minutes drive to Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Snow Summit Ski Resort, fishing tours, helicopter tours, golf courses, spas, antique shops, and family-friendly activities.
The home is fully equipped with all you need for a nice get away and melt the stress away.
Come to enjoy being in the fresh air and surround yourself in the tree's and star gaze at night. You can sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows.
The cabin was just remodeled. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and a couch in the loft with a pull out queen bed . Four televisions, WiFi, full equipped kitchen with everything you need. We provide the linens, towels, and soaps to get your vacation started

We are close to everything. Walking distance to the village ! Perfect for the events they put on in the village, Close to the snow summit, Close to the lake, Close to great restaurants.

My family stayed for a few days. We walked to the village for coffee and breakfast with 3 kids. So cozy. We chose to stay in most days cause the cabin is so comfortable. We will be returning. We all had a great time.

Thank you Holly and family for sharing your wonderful home with us. It was perfect for our small family and wonderful layout with a large loft and bedroom upstairs. The property has a very large front yard which was perfect for snow play. We would definitely recommend this home to others and would stay here again.

This little cabin was so perfect for our trip. It was adorable and cozy. The owners thought of everything in terms of amenities. We loved having access to a washer and dryer with a little one. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay here! Very clean, cute little cabin an easy walk from the village for early morning breakfast or evening drinks. Very quiet neighborhood, easy parking. It was a warm weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the fireplace but wouldn't hesitate to come back in the winter.

Perfect size home for our family of 3! We enjoyed both the fireplace and fire pit very much and our daughter loved having the upstairs all to herself. The beds were super comfy and the location was awesome! Holly is an awesome host and very communicative about everything you need to know. Can’t wait to come back.

The pictures are spot on. The place is immaculate, super well appointed, equipped with everything you could possibly need, and very cozy. Communication with Holly was unmatched. She would respond within minutes, which is amazing. It was a perfect stay. I wish all rental property experiences were this fantastic.

The cabin itself is quite cute and located within walking distance to the village, so we really enjoyed being able to venture out for nice walks around the lake/village. We also loved having the wood stove for cozy movie nights. The primary downside for us was the location of the bathroom which you can only access by going through the bedroom on the main level. No big deal if just one couple but a little more challenging with more than 2 adults and kids in tow. Makes it a little tougher to have privacy or not be woken up during the night.

Hidden surprise

Don’t let the lack of curb appeal dissuade you. When we pulled up on the street, we couldn’t even find this tiny property tucked into the back of the lot. But the inside is nicely upgraded. Even though it is tiny, it was plenty comfortable for two of us to not even go upstairs. So it could easily accommodate another couple or a family with kids. Location is an easy walk to the village, though it was not crowded when we were in town so no problem driving and parking.

Everything was thought of in this cabin. The property is unassuming from the outside, but stepping in is truly like being transported into paradise. The way this home is set up utilizes every bit the property into a cozy yet airy retreat. Enjoying a glass of wine by the fire pit and admiring the enormous trees that encapsulate the property was breathtaking. Savoring a cup of coffee overlooking the view of the lake is a memory not soon forgotten. I will absolutely be staying here again.

Our family of four can not say enough wonderful things about this property, the cleanliness, the amenities, the location, the comfort, and the hosts! We first stayed here a year ago and knew once we left that we had to make this place a tradition. This place is so tranquil. We never want to leave to explore and two days was not enough! We can’t say enough about this wonderful place. The owners obviously put their heart into providing a little sanctuary for their guests. Their attention to detail surpasses other rentals and sites. They have set the bar with amenities, cleanliness, and comfort. It will be hard not to hold others to this standard. We felt compelled to care for this cozy home as if it were our own. We enjoyed cooking and hanging out — it was difficult to motivate to get out and explore. A perfect getaway. We will back for sure. We hope to make it our family tradition. We loved this home! The modern updates were beautifully done and well thought out. We were delighted to stay here versus many of the thrown together, plaid, older-style homes available on VRBO in the area. The hosts were wonderful to work with and provided most everything we could need (shampoo/conditioner/laundry detergent/sponge for washing dishes/towels/internet). It was a very peaceful stay!

This is a darling cabin. Has everything you need for a relaxing & cozy getaway. The kitchen is stocked with all the cookware you'll need and has top of the line appliances. Lake views from the loft upstairs are a delightful surprise. We are grateful to Holly who is quick to reply to any questions. Great little cottage convenient to many restaurants and shops. No details were overlooked- although small, the space was utilized so well. There was plenty of room in the living area. Kitchen very well equipped- so nice to cook in. Loved the decor and would definitely recommend staying here!

I enjoyed my stay at this cabin because it had an outside yard where we were able to grill outside and socialize in the patio and the kids were able to play. The owners were very nice and welcoming and the cabin is just beautiful inside and out.

We were so happy we decided to book this property. Everything was so clean, looked nice, and the kitchen was so fully stocked. Holly was great at getting back to us with any questions we had. Another bonus was being so close to the village. We cannot wait to stay here again hopefully soon!
