Steep single lane gravel road up to cabin. Actually a bit scary driving up to cabin. Extremely hard to turn around . Hot tub was great after much needed water was added.

Select a different vacation cabin...The rental property was tired and needed a refresh in the kitchen, bathroom and couch. The bathroom floor tiles were all cracked, and the fiberglass tub/shower unit moved as you showered. The kitchen cabinets and countertops were old and well worn (worn out). The couch was very worn out and you had to put pillows down to sit on.
The hot tub jets would not cut on and the tubs display did not work. I contacted the rental company about the issues and they sent someone to look at everything. They said the hot tub display was out, and they could not have it fixed right now. They stated they could not offer my family a different cabin, but would give a $150 rebate due to the hot tub issues...I've seen on past reviews that the hot tub wasn't working properly, but had hoped they had the issue resolved. Overall, it was a very disappointing family holiday trip.

Cozy, nice cabin. Stayed 3 nights to ride motorcycles at tail of the dragon & enjoy fall rides. Driveway extremely steep, fine for cars but not motorcycles! They had a small parking area at entrance we left our trailer & motorcycles there so that worked great. Loved it had a hot tub & firepit to relax in evenings. Easy checkin & out & good communication via text for questions regarding parking. Downstairs king bed super comfortable, loft bed hard in our opinion so moved downstairs. Needs a new couch, right side had something wrong with it. Overall beautiful mountain retreat stay, we enjoyed as an anniversary getaway.

Very quiet and peaceful. Lodging is perfect for two couples. The drive is extremely steep and not to attempt staying here is hauling trailer with motorcycles

Absolutely loved our stay at High Rocks. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The set up was perfect for two couples and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It is in a peaceful location but if you are looking for a view of the mountains this is not for you. It is however very secluded but still gets ample sunlight. The only downfall was the driveway. We missed the bottom parking for our trailer with our bikes and spent a harrowing hour figuring out what we were going to do. The next morning when the bikes were ridden down the steep road it was decided to leave them at the bottom of the hill. We were driving a king cab dually and had issues getting in and out of the driveway. All being said I'm sure we would return to this cabin to "get away from it all". Internet worked great but there is no service so you have to have access to wifi calling to make calls.

The hill up to the cabin is very steep. But the cabin was cozy and clean. Beds were more comfortable than other places we have stayed.

Great weekend get away! Had everything we needed. Driveway is a bit steep, however we had no issues. Having a Quiet area and being dog friendly made this a great weekend! Would rent again

The cabin was really great but didn't provide the mountain views like we hoped! The wifi was spotty at first, but got better the next day. There is NO cell reception so beware of that! The beds were very comfortable and everything was as described in the listing.

Had a great stay. The cabin was up in the hills and was private and beautiful. Loved using the hot tub. Close to boat rental(Almond). Make sure to bring food and drink....going into town could cut into your vacation time. Would stay again in a heart beat!!

We stayed there
The property was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. Definitely bring anything and everything you need. There were no games, movies, or basic mountain necessities. WiFi was spotty but we managed. Still a pleasant stay overall!

Quiet and peaceful
Quiet and peaceful
We loved the house with its wraparound porch surrounded by trees, and with a fire pit and hot tub. Those who enjoy reading at night might be a little disappointed with the dim lighting. Older folks or little ones might have difficulty getting into the bed in the main floor bedroom. But for the most part, it was a lovely cabin, close to Joyce Kilmer Park and other hikes.

Nice cabin, but could have been better
The cabin was pretty nice. The hot tub was not clean, cloudy water, dirty ring just above water line and a soured smell. Called to report the problem. Someone came out to address it while we were away. They didn’t clean the hot tub, just added more water and chemicals. Unfortunately we were unable to use it and the hot tub was one of the primary reasons we selected the cabin.

Cozy and Comfy!
We really enjoyed our weekend getaway to this comfy cozy cabin. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Whenever I had a question the response was immediate from the owner. The bed was very comfortable, we loved the hot tub and there was plenty of wood for the fireplace. No complaints!

Dirty, bate and switch
I rented this property specifically because of the hottub. While I was driving there, I was left a VM saying the hottub is broken and they were going to be working on it to try to repaired for my visit. But I could take advantage of the freebies on them for my trouble if not repaired during my visit. In check-in, I see the the lounge chairs have a coating of green and black mold that I had to clean off, the hammock in the listing is broken and caked with dirt and sludge. There are huge spiders inside on the sliding doors, there are rat traps under the beds and the kitchen wall behind the trashcan is covered with dirt as if never cleaned. The hottub outside doesn't even have steps to get up into it so doubt that ever worked and you have to pay 120 for hottub maintenance upon check in.

Great weekend getaway
Had a great weekend. Well off the beaten path and very quiet. The property had everything I wanted to spend 3 days. WIsh the trip never ended. The only complaint I have would be to add some outdoor floodlights. Other than that I will plan on returning for future visits.

Just as advertised… very pleased
Everything was as advertised….the place was clean aside from a few cob webs, which is with every home…! Very pleased with the entire process.

Getaway Weekend
The house itself was nice, comfortable and fit our needs for a birthday getaway weekend! We liked the furniture (comfy sofa, chairs and bed), the view and the fireplace. Our only issue was maintenance which are fixable items; the cleanliness of the home, pest control and inability to use the dishwasher and gas grill.

Pretty cabin in the woods
Nice secluded cabin in the woods, beautiful views. Cabin was very nice. Only complaint was WiFi went out 2nd day. Router is located in cabin next door, so could not reset ourselves. Called management company so we could get in other cabin which was empty, but provide access or help fix. When you have teenagers, WiFi is important. Other than that, everything good!

Not exactly like the photos
Cabin was not clean upon arrival. Bathrooms and toilets were dirty. Mold on shower curtain on first floor. The loft bedroom could not get cool no matter how low the AC was set. Everyone on the first floor would freeze. The lighting was dim and not good overall. The bed in loft area was placed on top of AC vents. Items indicated that the cabin would have like a blender was absent. Lost WiFi for a couple of days. Downstairs bedroom bed too large for the small room. Had a problem with ants inside cabin. I would recommend another cabin since the pictures look better then the real deal.

Great weekend getaway
High Rocks is a great little cabin for a weekend getaway. The location was perfect -- close to so many trails and waterfalls for a day trip. The cabin itself was quaint and had everything needed for a relaxing stay. The only complaint is that the firewood for the outdoor fire pit was wet as it hadn't been covered so it couldn't be used to have a fire. Also, the fireplace inside probably could use a chimney cleaning as most of the smoke came into the living room even with the flue open.

Steep incline getting to the cabin. Over all the cabin was great.
Nice secluded location.

Cozy stay in the mountains
For the most part our stay was wonderful. The cabin was very much as described, the views were fantastic and it was peaceful. The down sides were the communication with the property. Union arrival there were a few key things missing. The biggest one being wood which was said to be provided. We called and they responded the following day saying they would drop it off at some point. Well some point ended up being well after we ventured out and bought our own wood. Thank goodness we did too because what they brought was so wet it was totally unusable and they didn’t bring any kindling like they advertised. So we bought our own wood and had lovely fires. It was fine in the end just annoying that we had to provide something that was supposed to be provided. There were a few other items missing but nothing that was worth calling them about we either bought the items ourselves(coffee filters) or made due without. The next frustration we had was late check out. They have a system for late check out that is supposed to be easy breezy. Well, it’s not. We tried for 4 day to schedule a late checkout and never received a response. That was the most frustrating part of the whole trip. I knew if there was anything else I needed communication was poor at best. It sucks to feel like you don’t have a contact person in case of emergency. They could also really use to clean the ceiling fans. Other than that the cabin was really quite clean. It was a beautiful week and we enjoyed most every minute. We would definitely stay again. We would just shop for coffee filters, at least one bundle of wood, hand soap and laundry detergent before arriving. If it wasn’t for the lack of communication I would have given it 5 stars because it really was lovely. perhaps others will have better luck with that. We did stay the week of Christmas so maybe staff was slim. When we did have communication it was perfectly fine it was just hard to reach anyone.

Awesome cabin in a great secluded neighborhood. Quiet and relaxing. We would definitely rent this place again.

No Access and no communication
No communication was provided on how to access the property, despite my attempts to reach them via text message and voice mail. Upon arrival there were no directions on how to gain access. With a hard rain storm, dark, no cell service and a narrow one lane road to the property we spent the first of our 3 nights in our vehicle. For this, and after a number of followup calls, I received a small credit less than one night's rental, all because of their lack of communication. Do yourself a favor and avoid this property as well as any property managed by Watershed.
