About this house rental
A great relaxing place for your family or friends holidaying together or visiting the beautiful Garden City of Christchurch. Has everything you need, truly a home away from home.
5 km to the City and yet located in a quiet, relaxing spot where native bell birds sing with morning joy. There are also a variety of contemporary Cafes and Restaurants situated in neighbouring suburbs and easy access to amenities like supermarkets, shops, all within a 3 km radius. Guests with children love the locality just an easy walk to the playground.
We are also close to the beach (25 mins); Governors Bay (15 mins); Port Hills (11 mins); Pioneer Stadium (5 mins) and the Airport (25 mins).
We have a very thorough cleaning protocol in place between guests and a 72 hour vacancy period between each guest stay.

Minimum two night stay. No smoking in the property. Guests are expected to leave the house clean and tidy. A security deposit of $120 is taken prior to the stay and will be refunded after guests have left the property and the house has been checked by the caretaker.

Lovely house well equipped, clean and comfortable. This is our second time here and would definitely recommend and stay again.

House was as described. Host had left the house warm and toasty when we arrived late at night. House accommodates a large family with ease. House was nice and clean and the beds were good. Kitchen was well equiped and milk was in the fridge. Would highly recommend it as a location central to town and the Port Hills.

2 single bedrooms and 2 double bedrooms. I upstairs bathroom with shower over and 1 downstairs shower room.
Large, spacious living dining room upstairs with the most amazing views over Cashmere.
Balcony leading out of the dining room where you can sit and take in the view.
Easy drive to city centre or up into the hills. Or you can walk into the hills from the house. Very good bus service from bottom of the road. You could get to the port of Lyttleton or the city centre easily by bus.
House was clean enough to feel at home but not sparkling. Parking for 2 cars in the drive.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and easy access to main roads and sites. It was roomy, basic, clean (except for kitchen floor not swept well) and well stocked!
We would've appreciated washcloths and a more professional instruction paper with WiFi info n password. Password was on the back of a small torn receipt. Would recommend for groups and families.

We were very happy with our stay here, this home was ideally suited to our needs, great location, spacious with lots of bedrooms, a bathroom on each level. It felt like a home away from home.

The house was lovely and spacious and had everything we needed to be self contained for our week long stay.
The location was great, we found it very easy to get to all sides of Christchurch, plenty of shops etc nearby and there is a great park just down the road for the kids.

Nice and cozy warm with two heat pumps one downstairs & one in the lounge, Nice views being elevated is good.

Spent 3 nights at this property with 4 children, found it to be very spacious, warm clean & tidy. Showers had fantastic pressure & kitchen contained ample crockery & glassware. Only negative is the driveway which took a bit of getting used to but didn't cause any issues, would definitely reccomend this property, great value for money

A friendly, personable property manager - we found Clare easy and prompt to deal with.
A friendly, personable property manager - we found Clare easy and prompt to deal with. The house is great for families and suited our needs well. No back yard to speak of but plenty of room inside with separate - but - linked kitchen/lounge/dining area.

We had a great stay here and would happily stay again. The house was very comfortable and had great views of the Christchurch hills. The place is very nice and the low resolution/quality of the photos don't do it justice. The beds were good, the shower pressure excellent and it was easy to get into town (straight up Colombo St)

House is great, location is great, in general house very tidy and comfortable - great water pressure
House is great, location is great, in general house very tidy and comfortable - great water pressure in the shower, plenty of hot water, well appointed kitchen. Only thing that let it down was that we found the beds very hard (we are used to a very soft matress) and some of the lounge chairs were not very comfortable. More towels would have been useful rather than one each for a four night stay. Very good value for money, but personally we wouldn't stay again unless there was a softer bed.

Location is fantastic at the base of the Cashmere/Port Hills.
Location is fantastic at the base of the Cashmere/Port Hills. Close to public transport, parks, coffee and supermarkets. House is clean and tidy and has everything you need. Yard probably needs a tidy. WiFi is needed as is pretty much standard these days.
