The house was well located for touring the island and visiting the Vieques National Wildlife Refuge. The kitchen was really well appointed with everything a cook needs, and all of the beach chairs/umbrella/towels/cooler were provided. The bed was comfortable, but more and better/thicker pillows would have been appreciated. We enjoyed the antics of the peacocks. We'd love to come back soon!

Beautiful island with great location
The property is exactly as described. Location is convenient to Isabella and Esperanza. Quiet location except for wildlife, which I enjoyed. Peacocks, horses, tree frogs, Roosters, all beautiful to listen to and fall asleep to. I’ve been toVieques before and stayed In Esperanza near ocean, both locations great, but something special about Cada Del Mar to me. And the house manager is fantastic.

A House in the Rainforest Clouds
Goodbye Casa Cruz Del Sur. You served us well. Clean, well kept, all the amenities. Goodbye Forest Hermit Crabs. Goodbye Shadowfax the Horse Who Wandered Into Our Yard to Graze. Goodbye Pepe the Highly Opinionated Rooster. Goodbye Little Midnight the Black Kitten. Goodbye Coqui Frog Chorus. Goodbye Rainforest. Goodbye Goofy Flock of NBC Turkeys (Peacocks). Goodbye Breathtaking View of Mosquito Bay, and the Breaker Islands. Goodbye Rooftop Dinners and Star Gazing. Goodbye Blood Red Street Lights to Cut Down on Light Pollution. Hope to see you all again someday. Yes, we named all the neighborhood animals. This house absolutely stole our hearts. Hope we are lucky enough to stay again, someday!!!

Destino Dream
Lovely location and nice long range view. The mango tree was just starting to drop ripe mangoes which we enjoyed eating very much. Both the host Chris and the manager Nehemiah were extremely helpful and made sure that our needs were met. The peacocks that live next door came to visit frequently and eat the mangoes which was interesting and beautiful but they do make a lot of noise especially in the wee hours of the morning. Turning on the bedroom air conditioner and closing the windows did help with sleeping. There are also roosters next door.
The house had everything that we needed including beach equipment. The view of the stars from the rooftop deck is not to be missed,

Absolutely perfect for us! Beautiful views and Clean
This place was great! Most amazing views. Home was well stocked with household essential and beach supplies. The house was very clean and loved all the light from the windows and glass door to the patio. The views from the patio and rooftop deck are beautiful. The owner was so helpful and welcoming as was the host to check us in! We started planning on a return trip before we even left! Great find

LOVED IT
The house was perfect for me, and it was furnished very comfortably. It was centrally located on the Island so it was easy to get to my favorite beaches, bars and restaurants. I loved the roof top deck, the only thing I would have preferred is a little more comfortable furniture on it. I spent a lot of time there looking at the wonderful views, and a more nice lounge type chair would have been nice. The Manager of the house, Vincent, was beyond awesome. He was extremely helpful, thoughtful and just a very pleasant guy. He made my stay that more extraordinary.
Thank You.

Great stay on a great island!
Me and my friend rented the house during Christmas holidays and even though we did everything pretty last minute the owner Chris was absolutely great with communication.
The property is really well situated in the center of the island close to both towns on it. It has a nice rooftop patio where we enjoyed having breakfast in the morning and it would be beautiful I am sure in the evenings as well, but we always spent those moments at the many beached of the island. Make sure you have a car. Chris helped us with that as well and we were really thankful as none of the rental places had anything left due to the high demand over the holidays.
The house was really clean and everything was very well thought of including the amenity kit and emergency kit in the bathroom. Prior to our arrival Chris also provided us with very thorough instructions about how everything inside works, emergency and contact numbers, general tips, etc.. There is very nice washer and drier if you plan on staying for a longer period of time.
Overall there is everything you would need if you are a single traveler, a couple or a family for your stay.
Big thanks to the property manager Edbert who was out local connection. He and his wife would be there for you if you have any questions about the island or the house. They met us at the airport when we landed to give us the car. Then escorted us to he house to show us the way and afterwards took us the nearest local supermarkets to be sure we are set with all basic needs. Edbert also made us a surprise gift of a local drink which we very much appreciated and helped us get some local fish which we cooked on the outdoor grill at the house - something everyone should do! Great guy!
Thank you Chris and Edbert for making out stay really great!
