You'll love this clean and modern home on the north side of Canyon Lake. You'll thoroughly enjoy watching the deer and the beautiful sunsets from either the covered deck or downstairs covered patio. There's even a sitting area with a swing and benches closer to the lakeshore for your viewing pleasure. After the sun goes down, build a fire in one of the three fire pits that are spaced throughout the property or just gaze at the multitude of stars that dot the sky over Canyon Lake. There's plenty of outdoor seating both upstairs and downstairs for you to enjoy the night sky.

This home has an open floor plan with high ceilings in the main living area and glass all across the back wall. The kitchen, living area, and master bedroom are all on the top floor so you can see Canyon Lake.

The home has quality throughout with wood floors upstairs and stained concrete floors downstairs. There are beautiful granite countertops and custom cabinets in the kitchen as well as the bathrooms. All the living spaces are tastefully furnished with comfort in mind. A leather couch and love seat, 2 recliners and 1 large bean bag chair in the living room provide ample seating for everyone to visit and watch TV. The dining table in the eating area with seating for eight is large enough for everyone to dine together or play dominoes, cards and other board games you will find in the home. There are 4 TV's in the house - one in each of the 3 bedrooms and the 55 inch flat screen TV in the living room. The home is equipped with WIFI.

The roomy master bedroom has a king size bed and a sitting area with a daybed. There's also enough space to set up the rollaway bed so that you can have your young children sleeping in close proximity if that's what you desire. The large master bathroom has a bathtub, a separate shower, a double vanity with a granite countertop, a linen closet and a large walk-in closet.

Downstairs there are two bedrooms with views, a bathroom with a tub/shower combination and a utility room with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience. One bedroom has a king size bed and a PAC-N-PLAY for a small child. The second bedroom has a double bed.

The well-appointed kitchen has a pantry and stainless steel appliances. In addition to the paper towels, soaps, coffee, spices and other staples that are provided, the kitchen is stocked with all the pots and pans, utensils and dishes you need to make you feel like you are cooking a meal in your very own home.

For your grilling pleasure, you can cook with gas, wood or charcoal. The home has a gas grill outside on the covered upper deck. By the downstairs back patio there's a fire pit with a grilling surface and also a separate charcoal park grill just like you would find at a state or national park. Then you can eat your meal right there at the picnic table in the covered open air cabana. You'll have the best of both worlds - enjoying a camp out experience with the conveniences of a dishwasher, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds!

You will need to stay a week if you want to do all the fun stuff that is close by. Be sure to allow at least one day for boating on Canyon Lake. Our property is .6 of a mile from public boat ramp # 23 which is free. So bring your boat if you have one or rent one from the marina that is a few miles away. In addition to boating, swimming, skiing, tubing and fishing at Canyon Lake you may also want to tube or kayak down the Guadalupe River which is about 20 minutes away. The Canyon Lake Gorge geological tour is a very interesting and informative hike. Be aware that you do need to make a reservation for it. If a hike doesn't appeal to you, the walk across Canyon Lake Dam is an easy walk and beautiful. See a concert at Gruene Hall or WhiteWater Amphitheater - which is one of the best outdoor venues in Texas. Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels is a MUST - especially if you have children. Gruene, Blanco and Wimberley are picturesque towns within a short drive that are fun places to shop, eat and listen to live bands playing all kinds of music. And the unique San Antonio River Walk is just a short conversation away. The hill country of Texas is hard to beat if you want to vacation in a beautiful and fun locale with a good variety of things to do. Come check us out! You won't be sorry.
