Newly built, 2 story, large, spacious contemporary house, on the quiet, serene cove of 8 mile long Lake Abenakee in the Central Adirondacks.
Our Cozy And Spacious Adirondack Lakehouse is an all-season Getaway with
room for a family of 8 to spread out, relax, and enjoy.
The beautiful, newly constructed house sits on the banks of Lake Abanakee gives guests spectacular views from every window.
Outside the large Flat lawn allows everyone to sit on the patio BBQ Area, around the fire-pit under the stars, or swim and kayak from our private beach. Winter Skiing at Gore Mountain, X Skiing, snowmobiling. The Space is Ideal for families- Located in the heart of the 6 million acre Adirondack Forrest preserve, surrounded by 4 of the biggest protected wildernesses in the Adirondacks.
- Direct Lakefront on Abanakee Lake, with 8 miles of lake to explore, and 15-mile, wild, river a short paddle from the boat dock. No jet ski, motor boat speed limit lake, ideal for families, small children, canoers and kayakers. Situated on a super quiet, secluded, peaceful cove, considered as the best fishing spot on the lake by all the locals. Also, unlike adjacent Adirondack Lake, the water in Abanakaee is safe for swimmers and not contaminated with sewage runoff.
- Included: 2 kayaks, 2 canoes, Standup Paddle board, 1 row boat, and inflatables
- included, all bedding, towels, organic soap, and washer/dryer.
- Large, spacious, brand new, 2 story house, with all the amenities. 3 bedrooms, 1 and a half baths, fireplace, and two floors with covered decks. Fully equipped chef's kitchen with dishwasher, stainless steel appliances, gas range, and granite counter island. Wifi, Cable, Netflix & Amazon Prime with large movie library and media center on the ground floor featuring big screen TV, plus smaller private TV/media area on the second floor for smaller groups or children, with a desk and office area. Multiple seating areas spread out on two floors, lots of room to spread out for large groups.
- Large Lakeside yard with boat dock, shallow swimming beach, multiple seating areas, Fire pit, tiled Patio Dining area. Perfect lake views breathtaking stargazing at night. Sun and shade mix for either. Most of the trees are Balsam, and you can smell it.
- Beautiful 2 mile walk along the shores of the lake right off the house, on both causeways with spectacular 360 lake views. Also lots of walks on adjacent roads through the forest. Ideal for jogging, strolling, and biking on well-maintained dirt roads.
- The town is less than 4 miles away and has: daily 8.30 am yoga, and meditation meeting twice a week, a community-run Movie Theater, restaurants, food markets, farmer markets, a library, and gift stores.
- Tons of events throughout the summer at the town of Indian Lake and adjacent towns, including fireworks over the lake, outdoor weekly concerts by the lake in town, BBQs, nature talks, and walks by the Adirondack Museum (15 miles away) and Blue Grass Music Festival nearby. Tons of activities for kids. Also, weekly town-wide garage sales and yard sales in different towns, an Adirondack tradition, with rustic and craft fairs as well. Check for events listings in the Adirondacks on the web. Area towns are Indian Lake, North Creek, Blue Mountain Lake, Long Lake, Lake Pleasant & Speculator.
- The local town is the White Water capital of the Northeast with daily level 4 rapids, and rafting trips. Thousands of miles of top hiking trails within walking or short driving distance to summit peaks, and picture postcard-perfect wild glacier lakes. Near the top, mountain biking trails as well. Also, Jet Ski, water ski, and pontoon boat rentals at nearby lakes like Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Long Lake, Lake Pleasant & Raquette Lake. Plus tours of rustic great camps.

Amazing location on a beautiful and peaceful lake. Very private and well stocked. Kayaks and paddleboards available for use. Less than 2 miles from local restaurant and shops.

The accommodation was perfect for us - spacious, clean, comfortable, well-appointed - oh, and did I mention it was clean!!
