Beautiful home in Port Trinitie Subdivision in Duck! This amazing home is very spacious and offers a light and airy ambiance! The open floor plan and high ceilings offer so much light and brightness to this updated home! It has updated kitchen appliances and 2 community pools!

Guests will enjoy the 2 levels of massive decks, one open and one covered, as well as the crow's nest! The spacious great room, kitchen, and dining area are on the top level, offering plenty of room for everyone to gather! There is also a powder room on this level. The screened porch is the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon lunch, or evening cocktails!

There are 2 queen masters with ensuites on the mid-level, as well as an additional queen bedroom and a bedroom with 2 singles that share 1 full hallway bathroom.

The ground level is the place to be in the evenings for lounging on the sofa to watch TV or pool tournaments in the huge game room. It boasts an updated bar and seating area!

Remember that Duck is one of the top ten dog-friendliest beaches in the country, so don't forget your furry family member is welcome!

Port Trinitie is a community in Northern Duck that is nestled between the ocean and sound. With just a short walk to the ocean or the sound, guests can enjoy a sound-front pool or ocean-side pool! Other activities to experience include crabbing and windsurfing at the sound side recreation area with a boat ramp and a pier with a gazebo (which offers amazing sunsets) or tennis courts on the ocean side! There are also three beach access points!

The house was extremely comfortable and had plenty of room. The sunroom/porch is west facing so it stays cool for most of the day and the bedrooms have 3 bathrooms for bedrooms and the mattresses were firm. Port Trinitie has lots of ameneties (though the pools were closed for COVID in 2020) but few houses so the beach was not crowded. We booked again for next year as soon as we got home.

Perfect size for our family. Great location. Loved the pool overlooking the bay. Nicely stocked kitchen. Good outdoor shower. Decks on all levels but not any water views. Used the pier to enjoy lookout. Uncrowded beach access but steep walk on sand and no carts allowed. Nice touches in house decor. Bright and open upper level.

This great vacation home had an amazing open plan living/ dining area that allowed our family to really enjoy our time together at the beach. The kitchen was well-appointed and also had enough room for a few cooks at a time! The wrap around porches were also in great shape and very welcoming. The only draw back to the week was the family room downstairs on the first floor had several ear wigs and even though we vacuumed a couple of times in that room, they seemed to be coming in from somewhere. I would recommend a visit from the exterminator. All in all, it was a lovely rental house!

Our family has a wonderful vacation in Duck! The property was clean, well stocked and in a perfect location with access to the ocean and sound. The responsiveness of the management company was excellent and the check in and check out process were seamless. We loved every minute of the stay and hope to be able to rent Gypsy Soul again.

This property accommodated our family fairly well. It is located in a nice community and is a very short walk from the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and basic systems functioned properly. Rooms were clean and laid out well for a group our size. Mattresses, however, were not comfortable. Everyone complained about being pitched toward the center. There was a musty odor on the lower level. The pool table would have been fun except all but one pool cue was broken. The refrigerator filter was clogged and allowed only a small amount of water to pass for the ice maker and chilled water. Management was notified on our second day, but a repair was not performed during our stay. Cleanliness of multiple outdoor decks and furniture was poor. All surfaces were encrusted with bugs and spiders making them unusable. Keeping outdoor decks and furniture clean would greatly improve the appeal of this property .

We had a fantastic family trip. The house was wonderful and our kids didn’t want to go home. Everything was clean and comfortable and we had all the amenities as advertised and then some (lots of good options for making coffee!). Great neighborhood as well. We will definitely look to go back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. One thing that could be upgraded: We didn't have a problem with the request to vacuum before leaving but 2 of the 3 vacuums are older than we are and really gross! That made the task take twice as long. We would recommend the house to family and friends!

Gypsy Soul needs a bit of a face lift

We had extremely high hopes when we rented Gypsy Soul based on the listing details and pictures. We originally had planned to bring a pet and then changed our minds shortly after booking, only to be told we couldn’t get our pet fee back. We got to the property and checked in without any issues but found that there were issues with the housekeepers not really finding and cleaning up from past tenants - old dirty hair ties in bedrooms, for example. The inside furniture and bathrooms and kitchens were dated. We thought the house was going to be much more modern and updated than what we got. Even the toilet bowls were small in size and my 16 year old daughter who is petite commented on how she missed her normal sized toilet at home. Plumbing was an issue for us with the small toilets getting clogged and no plunger to be found and the toilet in our bedroom gurgled at night randomly for no reason. We also experienced cockroach issues while there. They definitely need to move the furniture out from the basement and fumigate under the couch. When roaches came out from underneath of the couch while we were playing pool we all screamed and were thankful no one had to sleep on the pull out couch. There were dead bugs underneath the couch and floor down stairs that were noticeable if you got on the floor and looked - which I did when I tried to practice yoga in the mornings from this space. We also saw big roaches coming out of the light fixtures in the ceiling on the top floor. All in all, we get that dead bugs happen - but we don’t get live bugs in that quantity and we don’t get dead bugs being left for us to find in that quantity. Lastly, we made the reservation for this particular home with the anticipation of being able to swim in the advertised community pools. We only made the reservation 5 weeks before arrival, and we were shocked to find the pools closed due to COVID but never having been told at reservation creation or prior to arrival that they were closed. The property management company should have absolutely been on top of this and managed our expectations. Very disappointing and the kids and husband were not pleased to find out by getting all geared up and walking to the pool only to find it shut down. What was good? We had enough bed space for 8 people to sleep. The kitchen did have a lot of kitchen gadgets and tools to help with cooking. The location was good, only a short 8 minute walk to the beach.
