nice views
Hotel staff didn’t listen to me when I asked for a quiet room at check-in. Reception wanted to charge more money for another room. At check out there was bar charge on my bill that wasn’t mine. Could’t sleep for 3 nights.

What is there not to like? The location is supreme, the staff is amazing, helpful, friendly and incredibly helpful. Honestly, there are not enough superlatives in the English language to cover how much we enjoyed our too brief stay. The rooms are large. They are sparsely furnished but very well-appointed. The breakfast is very generous and tasty! The bar/breakfast room is beautiful. This was our first trip to the Amalfi coast and we were thrilled by the location. We were the perfect walking distance into the center of town, the view was amazing, and the staff -- Laura in particular -- provided the perfect dinner recommendations - exactly what we were looking for! The hotel was also wonderfully accommodating and helpful. Our logistics were not the best and we had two cars and tons of luggage that we left after check-out so we could visits Capri (did I mention we were in walking distance to the ferry as well?). I was overwhelmed when I was looking for a place for five of us to stay in Amalfi for a mini-family reunion and we couldn't have been happier. We feel like we really lucked out and very much look forward to visiting again.
There is nothing not to like! The only note I would make is that we were there in the off-season. The hotel is gorgeous and I imagine incredibly popular so it may be a little noisier in the on-season, but I also imagine all of Amalfi is that way. This is a centrally located hotel - not a remote respite.

Good views and well made cocktails. Breakfast is of a very good quality even if a little limited (it's a la carte rather than a full range).
Bathroom was nice and shower especially good with views along the coast.
Only 1 single person chair in the room - not very comfortable for two people to relax. Chair was stained (hotel did change it for us). Rooms well decorated but felt like something was missing. Reception area is very basic and small - does not feel 5 star at all. Very overpriced for what it is, particularly off-season as the beach bar area was not active / open. It's on par with hotels around 100-150 euros a night. The area is expensive though so unsure if you can get better around Sorrento...

location and views were perfect. breakfast was amazing and servers were excellent
very little negatives about this hotel as far as our stay goes...only neg things were sofa and chair in our room were dirty. only other negative was front desk staff not present most of the time. they spend the majority of their time in the back room not visible.

Antonio the service guy was amazing and very very helpful
there was no one to take your bags but Antonio decided to help us regardless of him being busy serving drinks and waiting tables

Very good location and very clean (they actually clean the rooms twice a day). Very helpful front desk, they arranged for us everything we asked for and helped us with planning our days. The view from the room was stunning. Great thing is that they have a valet parking, so if you are travelling by car it's very convenient. The best feature, however, is the restaurant. It has a michelin star and service and food are just awsome!!!

we had a junior suite, very clean but next to the road, but to be honest this was a minor thing.

Beautiful views, it was particularly great to watch the sunset. Very friendly staff, the restaurant was exceptional, and we enjoyed relaxing at the beach club. Would stay again.
