The area and pub in general was a nice place and would stay again but i would gave to learn German first.
Payed extra for a double bed and what i received was 2 singles pushed together. I know in some hotels this is how its done but when 1 of these beds is unmade and other has 1 single cover and 1 pillow then surely thats a single bed.
I made an analogy of, if you push 2 sausages together that doesnt make 1 sausage but that didnt go down well and as voices were being raised i was then informed "we're fully booked".
Went for a meal later and could sense an atmosphere, i specifically requested to the waitress no cashewnuts in the curry and did this via google translate as only 1 person could speak English, was told ok. The lady i had the words with earlier delivered it, plonked it on the table and walked away. Full of nuts so i couldnt bring myself to start another arguement I wasnt going to win.

This was a lovely traditional German Gasthof. The room was large with a huge balcony overlooking the hills rising behind, lovely for sitting and reading. We ate at the hotel on the outdoor terrace as the evening was warm and the meal was excellent as was the local beer.
The church bell, which in not something the hotel can control but it rang the quarter hours at night as well as in the day. It was hot so all the windows were open, as soon as you shut them you couldn't hear a thing.

Really great room # 42 . Large private balcony off a f room . Large , very clean , very bright with multiple windows . Very large and clean bathroom with excellent shower . Appreciable road noise but not much traffic at night so not a major problem. Very good secure garage for bicycles and immediately off of bike trail, EV 6
Dinner at on-site restaurant was very good with reasonable price point . Good breakfast with multiple food choices .
All the staff was very friendly and though there was a bit of language difficulty it was easily surmounted. Day manager, Sandra was a really pleasant and helpful person to encounter at checking .
WiFi was a bit sketchy in room 42 but in all other common areas the reception was great .

Everything, great spacious rooms with Air Con, clean and the staff were fabulous, ate in the restaurant and food was first class. Motorbike parking was either front or back of hotel, not secure but in view, not an issue. Staff were excellent and guided (where to go etc) us on a day out around Lake Konstance (Bodensee). Breakfast was excellent, large selection and wholesome. We ate at a local restaurant on first night as our hotel was closed, was 500m away, a very short walk, good food and again great staff. Overall a wonderful experience in a lovely hotel. The location was good for us and presented no concerns, we'd all go back, beautiful part of Germany, cant fault this place at all.
nothing, weather was warm, food was good, the beer cold and the staff very friendly and fun!

Property is situated away from crowded tourist areas but within easy distance of Bodensee by car.

Room was clean and had automatic darkening shades to keep out light and noise. The restaurant was great and breakfast was just enough to get a good start to your day. Elevator was handy too.
