Excellent location - wry easy walk to Main Street. Beautiful old house. Equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
Nothing. We loved it.

Fantastic cottage, full of character with perfect front balcony and a beautiful garden for watching the birds and enjoying the flowers. Rocky Road and port were provided, and everything you need to make your own breakfast, including milk, bread, eggs, butter and bacon, and a perfect coffee machine to boot. The town is just a gentle stroll away, but it’s still a lovely quiet street. Everything was really clean and we had absolutely everything we needed. We cannot recommend Cabernet Cottage enough.
There’s nothing we didn’t like.

Excellent location close to the Main Street of Tanunda. Enough off street parking for four cars. Nice to have basic groceries and pantry items to get us started. Firewood also available which we used each night.
No digital TV or services such as Netflix, Foxtel or Kayo. We had to stream grand finals on our phones.

Location was perfect, the cottage was comfortable with heating as well as a log fire. It was perfect for a relaxing visit to the area.
Our Hosts made sure we were well looked after , with breakfast supplies, biscuits, milk , butter and a pantry with essential items.
Loved the relaxed feeling of the cottage and bonus of two spa bathtubs was amazing.

The hosts had gone and turned the heating on as the weather was wet and very cold. They had put food in fridge, milk, bacon, tomatoes, butter and bread. Also had turned on the lights so we weren’t walking into a dark house

Tasty breakfast with a few different options
It was all very good. Ideally, both bathrooms would have a heatlamp!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved all of the added touches. So comfortable & clean. Beautiful gardens. So easy to book & the hosts Sharyn & Michael are simply the best hosts, go above & beyond to make things homely & comfortable. We would definetely stay again.
Only recommendation is to put a can/bottle bin outside.

Cabernet Cottage is just beautiful. It is located close to the main street of Tanunda making it a very easy walk to find a nice restaurant or pub for eating out or just do some shopping in this lovely town. It is also just a short drive from lots of great Barossa Valley Vineyards. The house is just beautiful with large rooms and very clean with lots of awesome little touches (eggs, bacon, milk, fresh bread, tomatoes, port, rocky road) and a pantry full of everything you would need left by the wonderful hosts Sharyn and Michael.

We loved the central location of Cabernet Cottage....walking distance to the centre.
The cottage was super comfortable, with 3 bedrooms (two with comfy 4 poster beds - 3rd bedroom had twin beds) two x spa bathrooms, air conditioning, wood burner heater (wood supplied) and full breakfast supplies (bacon, eggs, tomatoes, bread, butter, cereal, milk, teabags, instant coffee + pods for the machine)

We liked how close it was to Tanunda town, with it cute shops and restaurants and bars.
Everything was as it was described, so there was nothing not to like

The breakfast was great and had most things there and didn’t have to worry about it. All room was very warm and cosy when we got there and it was lovely. We would definitely come back again next year with the family. I would have love to try out the spa but my little boy didn’t want to share and he had it all to himself.
Nothing.

We arrived late in the afternoon and had a tour booked for the following morning. Having breakfast provided was great as we didnt have to worry about getting up early to go out for breakfast before being picked up for the tour. Location was perfect. easy walk to pubs and restaurant. Neighborhood was very quiet.
