Live the Chesapeake life style in this 4 BR 2 bath home with a private dock on 150 ft of Back Creek waterfront. This home is remodeled with newer Kitchen, Baths, floors and paint and a finished basement with bar, game table and foosball! Lots of room to play on the 1.4 acre lot. There is a deep water dock with slip for a large boat. Gorgeous bay views and sunsets from waterfront deck with BBQ and picnic tables for eating crabs! Kayaks, crab traps and fishing poles are available for your use! Conveniently located 25 minutes from Annapolis and Downtown Baltimore. 20 minutes to BWI airport and about an hour to Washington DC. Come relax and enjoy the view!

We enjoyed quiet mornings and evenings watching the water. There are restaurants, grocery stores, and seafood marts in the area that made meals easy, but if want to cook the kitchen is very well equipped! Getting into Baltimore and to a park in the area was easy enough. Nothing we went to was more than 30 minutes away. When we came home at the end of our adventures we found all the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were quite nice. We enjoyed meeting the neighbor as well.

We visited the last week of March for a nearby wedding. The house is super cool, right on the creek with a ton of awesome built-in amenities. An easy drive to Annapolis, DC and Baltimore, but off the beaten path enough to feel the peace and quiet on the creek. Melinda was super helpful and responsive to all of our questions and needs!

This home is very well maintained. With 6 adults, we had more than enough room. We enjoyed fishing from the spacious dock, relaxing in the hammock, playing badminton and a nice fire and s'mores every night. The home has a well stocked kitchen for cooking meals. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this home. We stayed for a weekend but there would have been plenty to do for a whole week. Next time, we'll enjoy the kayaks and bicycles and hopefully catch a crab dinner.

This immaculate house is on a quiet creek/inlet. Kayaking, fishing, crabbing - it’s at your back door. The sunrise is spectacular while you have your morning coffee next to the water. An osprey hung out in a tree by the back deck. Inside plenty of space for games or work. Recommend

Our three boys and their girlfriends joined us at this fantastic property on a channel leading to the Chesapeake only 35 minutes to Annapolis.
The house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen had every utensil you could possibly need. We steamed the crabs iwe caught with the pots Bob and Melinda provided. (Steamer was also provided). Our boys and their partners crabbed and fished on the dock and kayaked on the channel. On land we played cornhole, badminton and lacrosse (all provided).
One night we chatted around the firelight after grilling burgers and ribs on the barbecue. The house is situated so you can enjoy the sunset and sunrise if you’re an early riser.
Bob (the owner) came by twice in his very impressive new boat and took us all the way to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore and even let us have a go behind the wheel. He also gave us a quick fishing lesson.
All in all it was an absolute pleasure to find this gem of a house. We are already looking forward to coming back again!

This was our second stay and it didn’t disappoint. In fact, it was better due to our he additional updates the the house and the pier. The entire family has a blast swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and relaxing under the trees. The neighborhood 4th of July festivities are top notch. We hope to return again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was very relaxing to spend time next to the water on the house's dock. We also enjoyed taking out the kayaks and playing games such as corn hole. The location and house was a just a fun place to be.
There was not a single item in the kitchen or elsewhere that we needed. The owner was very responsive to my questions. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful View!
Such a charming and well appointed home with cozy couches, comfortable beds and the most amazing view. Worked out perfectly for my two kids and my parents and my husband and me to have a home base while we were in town for a family wedding. Thank you so much for sharing your space with us!

Comfy and cozy!
We stayed for a few days over the holidays. A half way point for our families to get together. The house was PERFECT! Clean, cozy, well maintained. Lots of things to do locally. And we had nice enough weather to enjoy the fire pit every night.

We just checked out of Melinda’s place and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our time there. We enjoyed every part of the house. When other reviewers say the house has EVERYTHING… they truly mean everything. Even a small kids life jacket that fit our 3 yr old. It was the perfect location for our family before and after our wedding at Kurtz beach. Our nieces loved using the kayaks and trying to fish. They were staying at another property a few miles away and enjoyed our house more :) The back porch was perfect for picking crabs on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Safeway and Giant are super close if you need to grab anything. We highly recommend checking out 2 rivers steakhouse, Mike’s North and always best crabs for anyone staying here. Thanks again! Perfect getaway
The property was perfect and just as advertised. Great location for college visits in the greater area and very relaxing in between. The homeowner was great to work with and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great DC getaway
We really enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect house for our group of 6 to getaway from DC for New Years. The kitchen is very well stocked (including a crock pot!) and the basement was the perfect place to watch new years day football! We even got weather nice enough to enjoy the outside firepit. And the sunsets did not disappoint. Thanks for such a great place to ring in the New Year!

Pasadena Perfect !
Wow wow wow. We cannot begin to sing the praises of this beautiful cottage! The large property is perfect for lawn games. The boat house had everything you would ever need with wonderfully clear instructions on where to find things and how to use them. The fire pit included a spectacular view of the water with a rising moon.
Our kitchen was well equipped , the beds were comfy and the playroom downstairs had the biggest tv we’ve ever seen to watch the season opener of SNL

An amazing week on the creek!
My family and I had a great stay at Melinda’s beautiful home on Back Creek. My kids and I enjoyed all it had to offer - kayaking, paddle boarding, crabbing and fishing. The yard was perfect for the yard games we brought. Each day we sat on the deck to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and the most amazing sunsets. My son and his college friends enjoyed the very cool basement as their getaway for gaming and just hanging out. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer. Definitely looking forward to renting again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Perfect Chesapeake Getaway
This rental was perfect for our family. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was very clean and everything felt new. The only disappointment was that the second full bathroom is in the basement, not the second floor, however my family adapted quickly. We loved meals on the screened in porch, and we had such great weather we didn't get a chance to take advantage of the foosball and big basement.
Check in was very easy and Melinda was quick to respond to any questions.
The property is amazing. Big, open yard for games of frisbee and baseball, and the most beautiful views from every angle. We had fires every night. My husband and 8 year old went kayaking often, and fishing and crabbing off the dock daily. My 2 and 5 year olds loved the sandy, shallow and warm water for swimming and splashing. The beach is great, but the tides didn't always line up with our nap schedules. We had many meals at the picnic tables overlooking the water. We enjoyed lots of seafood delivered to our door from Fifers, a real gem!
We would love to return to this rental anytime. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Accommodating and beautiful!
This house was absolutely perfect for my family to stay during our time in Pasadena. It was spotless, accommodating in every way, and had the most beautiful sunrises! I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking to get away or just stay in a nice place at an affordable cost. Melinda was an excellent host and was very communicative before, during, and even after our stay. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

The view from the deck was amazing. The house was impeccably clean and everything was updated. Well-stocked kitchen. Kids had a blast fishing and crabbing off the dock. Owners were friendly and available. Perfect family retreat.
