Great stay

The apartment was in a great location (despite the hill!) and just a few minutes walk from the local beach, supermarket and main road for buses etc. The apartment was very clean and spacious with good facilities for cooking and dining. My friend had to work remotely and the internet was faultless. The TV with the Amazon fire stick was a nice touch. My friend even saw a monkey very close by when out for a run! Kenridge is really good value for money and we would definitely book again if returning to Barbados.

These aren't really dislikes, just points to consider The apartment is situated at the top of a steep hill! We did not hire a car and luckily are fit and active so it wasn't really a problem, but it could be if you have mobility issues. We did moan about it when walking back after an evening out! I slept on the sofa bed, which was comfortable for a few nights but after 9 nights, it wasn't ideal. However it didn't impact my stay.

Excellent location to discover Barbados

The apartment was very clean. André was an excellent host and he communicated really well at all times. The location is excellent to travel around the island. The apartment had everything we needed. We liked it so much that we returned and spent 2 more nights at the end of our holidays. We totally recommend it!

It was not the best experience.

No breakfast. The place was very clean .I liked that there was an AC in the bedroom.

A few dislikes . The bottom front door lock didn’t work. The lock box didn’t work. No AC in living room and it was extremely uncomfortable and humid . The sheets and pillowcases didn’t smell clean I had to change them with one that was available for the pull out sofa . If you don’t have a vehicle the walk up the hill is very difficult .

Good location for beach and transport to other areas. Nice and quiet. The host was extra helpful. Air con good. Overall a good place to stay.

The sofa bed was quite uncomfortable for sleeping. WiFi worked in lounge but not so good in bedroom

Sehr angenehmer Gastgeber, ruhige Lage, höchst angenehm.

Es ist eine Residenz mit 8 kleinen Appartements. Die Klimaanlagen funktionierten bei der Hitze sehr gut. Der Inhaber André hat uns viele unserer Extrawünsche erfüllt. Superfreundlich, sehr angenehm. Die Lage ist sehr gut und ruhig, denn in ca. 200 m Entfernung gab es einen gut sortierten Supermarkt und zum Strand nur noch über die Hauptstraße H1 (ca. 30 m mehr). Für unsere Ausflüge nutzten wir öffentliche Verkehrsmittel mit direktem Halt am Supermarkt. Alles Sehenswürdigkeiten waren mit den Bussen zu erreichen.

Ein bisschen haben wir den Meerblick vermisst.

Was ok but would not stay there again

Big flat, good furniture, TV and Netflix

- the staff could be more helpful, we needed help with options to get to the airport and got very little advice , in the end almost missed the flight. From the 3 phone numbers of taxi they provided in the instructions board in the flat only one person responded a week later, when we were already in the UK. The property manager was not super helpful either when we asked for taxi price and bus options. I think questions on how to get to airport probably asked by people who stay most frequently. Just comparing to previous flat we stayed in - we found little insects (ants or bugs) in the kitchen table and on the walls, could not get rid of them the entire stay even though was leaving kitchen tables clean and washed promptly the plates and everything - towels are very old - location of the flat is on top of the very steep hill and further away from the beach than claimed and different to location on Google maps - there is no coffee machine or even coffee filter.

Bel appartement et tranquillité assurée.

La propreté des lieux.

Le gérant avait indiqué sur Booking que son immeuble était situé à droite de la route H1 tout juste derrière un Supermarket. Or, dans les faits, l’immeuble est plutôt situé 400m plus loin à l’est. Le gérant savait que son immeuble était mal pointé sur Google Map dans l’appli de Booking.com puisque c’est sa responsabilité d’indiquer les bonnes info sur Booking.com incluant son adresse exacte. Le gérant a, à mon avis, agi en toute connaissance de cause puisque dans les 24 heure avant mon arrivée i.e. juste après la fin de la date d’annulation sans frais, le gérant a pris le temps de m’écrire un message m’indiquant qu’à partir du Supermarket, je dois tourner à gauche sur la rue c rouler tout droit devant et au bout de la route tourner à droite sur la rue x et rouler quelques autres mètres et vous y verrez l’immeuble en question. Donc il a pris le temps de m’écrire la route à parcourir entre, son adresse fictive indiquée sur Booking.com et l’adresse réelle de l’immeuble mis en location. Possiblement une tactique de ce gérant pour gonfler ses prix de location.

Superbly located comfortable and quiet stay.

Great location with 5min walk down to the water, and additionally lots of sandy beaches north and south within 30min walking radius. Quiet location on top a hill. Near a great supermarket, which made cooking our own food easy. Plenty of public transport available on the main road. Internet worked great.

There hasn't been a single room cleaning during our week long stay. It was not listed as an amenity so this was expected, however it would have been nice to have cleaning at least once.

Prefect , great value and we will be back

It had everything we needed and Help on hand if you weren’t sure how to use . Plus washer n dryer ( first time ever I’m Home with a suitcase of clean clothes ready to hang)

Host was very nice and welcoming. Stayed here for our honeymoon. Apartment comfy and as expected.

Looked like photos, bed was comfy, going up and down the hill to the property was no issues because we drove most places in our rental car.

Quiet, cute and easy to get to for a relaxing break

Good location, up a slight hill however we drove and walked it, both fine for us. Clean and comfortable.

We were in a ground floor apartment which meant there was limited sunlight into the bedroom and bathroom. There’s an adjoining folding door to the apartment next door that allowed access either way. Good for groups and families yet a tad uncomfortable unless it’s unoccupied and the front door locked. Kitchen is good however the one downside was the length of the cords on the mini oven (no microwave) and the toaster. This made them awkward to use and especially if using the cooker at the same time as that was the better surface to place these appliances on when using. Carry cash in case the card machine isn’t working properly as with our visit. They all worked well in the nearby supermarket (very near and handy).

Excellent stay! Very clean and lovely place 👌 😊

Everything was excellent 👌 no complaints! Hubby and I had an amazing time! Very clean place, self contained. Lovely location and the owners are such nice people. They made sure were felt welcomed and comfortable.

We'll be returning here soon! We also loved the free laundry facilities on property! So helpful while on vacation! Go visit! You'll not regret your stay! Thank you Kenridge Residences we had a blast!! 😉

Everything was good. The place was very spacious and clean and the host was very welcoming & helpful

No breakfast was provided as it was an apartment. The apartment was atop a hill which can be challenging if you have bad knees like I do, but easily accessible by taxi.

Mr Goodman and his sister are amazing hosts. The appartment offers a great value for money and the location is ideal. On the caribbean side with a supermarket , restaurants and a semi private beautiful beach at walking distance. We were very happy and look forward to coming back.

Would be nice to have one large mirror.

Perfect if you don't mind climbing up a very steep hill.

The staff could not be more helpful, nothing was too.much trouble. Always on hand to ask about things. Close to bus routes that are convenient to travel on.

Unfortunately the apartment is at the top of a very steep hill. I found it daunting every time I had to climb it from the main thoroughfare. Maybe a link by shuttle from bottom to top wouldn't go amiss. For this specific reason I would not stay here again. Could do with some more kitchen utensils such as baking trays.

We were not out for luxury but clean and comfortable and Kenridge fit the bill. We would differently stay again.

Very clean and close to the beach and transportation of various kinds. Supermarket at the end of the hill. Owners are very hospitable.

Would request owners to have a greeters amount of salt and pepper and coffee/tea on hand until a trip to the store can be made. Living room chairs were low for older folk, although comfortable.

the apartment is located in a very good place very close to a beach and a market and the bus stop, the kitchen is provided with things needed. there is also a washing machine for you and the owner is very nice and friendly . In the morning around 6am everyday monkeys come near the aparrtment which you can see out of the balcony or walk down to go see them.

The apartment is the best where we stayed in Barbados.Es ist on the top on the hill with ca 10 min walk to the bus stop.

I did not like the behaviour of the owner. A bit arogant and not customer orientated.

Wonderful stay in a clean and spacious apartment, conveniently located to enjoy the island!

The location was on a nice, quiet, and well maintained street, close to a beautiful beach for swimming and walking, a grocery store to pick up provisions for our stay, and frequent inexpensive local buses. We had a couple of deck chairs to sit on the little patio which we enjoyed. The apartment was clean and tidy. It had the basics for our 3 night stay. There was a lovely family run Italian restaurant at the bottom of the hill (10 min. walk) where they served happy hour daily and had great food. We sat at a table right on the beach to view the sunset! We had the bottom unit but if you had one of the second floor apartments, there was the an ocean view to enjoy. The hosts met us and were very nice, helpful and informative.

Although the apartment was terrific value and newly renovated, there was an issue with noise in our unit as it had a locked sliding wall between unit #1 and #2 to accommodate 2 bedrooms if required. The television noise and voices from the other unit could be heard in our living room.

Stay in st James bridgetown

The small residence is on the hills in st James. Nice little apartment with separate bedroom. Nice terrace where one can sit (our had no view on the sea but others did)Good location to get to beaches easy public transport. Good wifi. Kind owner. Supermarket on main road just at the start of road climbing to the location of residence. Safe area. Lots of green monkeys around! Very good value for money in this part of Barbados

The bed had just a blanket cover no bed linen. There was no warm water for showering. Not a problem for us but if you want breakfast you need either a rather long walk or you must take transport . People with walking issues or big suitcases should be aware the residence is on top of a hill with a rather steep climb to reach it.
