We stayed for 3 nights to spend a weekend skiing at Selwyn with our family. Property was perfect for our needs, cosy cabin with a great outlook in a very quiet location.

Lovely property for a peaceful weekend on the banks of Lake Eucumbeme. Huge balcony for an afternoon drink in the sun before retiring inside in front of the open fire.

A very easy 40 minutes to Selwyn ski fields. This property is great for two families to enjoy separate but close accomodation.
Very clean and comfortable. Electric heaters work well in all rooms. The lake is stunning. Will definitely return next ski season!

Everything about this property was as expected however on the first night after filling the fridge with all our food discovered the next morning it was not working and everything had defrosted and we had to throw out a lot of our food. This was very disappointing. Contacted the manager who then told us to use the fridge in the next cabin which was fine but a lot of meat had to be thrown out as it was defrosted and warm. Not ideal

Great location over looking the water, with plenty of parking. Had some issues getting the fire to catch but heaters worked perfectly.

Impressive and comfortable. Facilities were very good. Wood heater was not very effecient and had to use the inverter system continuousily. Only hiccup was the key which allocated to our Unit was not available as the previous occupier had mistakenly put his own key in the key box and we had a difficult task contacting the owner before other arrangements were made for the adjacent unit. Luckily the other unit was not occupied. Mick

What a beautiful part of the world to relax and enjoy the beautiful mountains. My partner and I stayed in unit 2 which was cozy and warm once we got the fire going. The bed was comfortable with plenty of blankets to spare. The view off the back deck is stunning and at night the light fluttering of snow coming down was magic. The location is away from phone reception (vodafone network) but the wifi in the unit is strong and quick. Whilst the lounge is a beautiful vintage, I was not able to lay and sink into it whilst reading my book. The kitchen has everything you would need including 4 burner stove top with, electric oven, kettle, toaster and microwave. I would recommend ensuring you are stocked up with food and drinks for the period of the stay as Cooma is the closest for coles/woolies. The property manager was extremely quick to respond to enquiries and a pleasure to liaise with. I would 100% stay again.

Beautiful outlook. Bed comfy but couches very poor, old, uncomfotable. Broken bathroom heater. Kitchen bench very low and difficult to use. Floor was unstable when walking inside.

We had a lovely stay at Fibbers Lodge! We loved the open fire, view of the lake and proximity to the ski fields.

We had a beautiful experience at the Lodge. The neighborhood was friendly, peaceful and quiet. The Lodge (both Unit 1 and 2) were very cozy and had most of everything we needed. (Owner will let you know what to bring to the Lodge before hand). The owner is very thoughtful, informative and caring. She answered my many questions very quickly when I was planning for the trip. She is a very nice lady. We had a fantastic time and felt very recharged. We traveled to the Yarrangobilly caves (only 1 hr away) which are amazing. We like the history and the locals in Adaminaby, bought groceries, had dinner at the Bowling Club Bistro there. I highly recommend the Thai Country Massage in Adaminaby (owner is Liam Johnson). Lake Eucombene was within walking distance. We saw an eagle, a rare black cockatoo, an echidna, lots of kangaroos, rabbits and yellow crested cockatoos. The sunset was beautiful but beware of mosquitos. The drive from Cooma to the Lodge was easy and smooth. It was only between 45 minutes to 1 hour. While it was very hot in major cities, the Lodge offered us fresher, cooler air and a magnificent view. We had two 10 year old girls staying with us briefly. They had so much fun. They were busy catching grass hoppers and running after kangaroos. When the Lake water level is higher, you can hire a boat with life jackets in nearby Caravan park. We couldn't this time because the Lake water level was too low. We also enjoyed walking around in nearby neighborhood just to explore. (but please be careful of the kangaroos hitting your car in the evening). My parents in their 70s also enjoyed their stay very much. Bringing a nice camera with you is a must! Only Telstra network works in the neighborhood. I had informed Carole that the DVD in Unit 2 didn't work. We would love to come back again. Thank you Carole!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was so relaxing and the view was just stunning. There were so many things to do and explore in the area, from caves to thermal pools, to bush walks. One of the favourite part of our days was coming back to have a glass of vino and a beer on the balcony, watching the sunset over the lake - amazing!
