Situated in South Mission Beach, one block from the ocean and overlooking the bay!

This two bedroom condo is beautifully furnished with just steps to the Beach, Bay and Entertainment.

AC has become more of a must have feature on San Diego beaches during the warm months. We have added a portable AC to each of our bedrooms to keep up with our past guests' suggestions. Not having AC means that you have to sleep with your window open and this makes you more susceptible to noise (every place in Mission Beach is susceptible to noise problems regardless of what other owners tell you). Now our guests have the option of sleeping with the windows closed!

Upgraded bathrooms and open kitchen with top of the line designer stainless steel appliances.

All dishes, utensils, pots, and pans are provided for you.

Family entertainment is within walking distance. Park your car in your reserved dedicated spot and leave it! You can stroll (5 min walk) to Belmont Park, ride the Roller Coaster, buy some cotton candy and play carnival/arcade games. Bring your kids with their friends because this condo sleeps six.

The living room is equipped with a 50' Sony flat screen, cable (DVR/HD), sofa and a large chaise, in which both convert to beds (queen and twin).

In each bedroom, there is a queen bed, and 40' Sony flat screen.

The Master Bedroom has a unique designer Star Gazer ceiling complete with ceiling fan.

The Master Bath is equipped with a Jacuzzi bathtub with his and her shower heads.

Sit & relax at the cocktail table on the nice quiet balcony!
The Balcony has a view of the Bay and features a Cocktail Table that is perfect for your morning coffee or those relaxing evening drinks.

This place was a great base for our week in SD. The location is amazing and we appreciated having a dedicated parking spot. There were lots of nice touches like beach gear (cart, chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, towels) and even some small coolers. The condo did feel a little run down. The master bath had several lights burned out and the jacuzzi tub jets appeared to have mold in them. Overall we had a good stay and feel like the value was fair.

Stayed here for a week. The condo is in an excellent location. Very clean and much roomier than I was expecting. It was a very close walk to both the ocean and the bay. My wife and I took 4 to 5 mile walks along the boardwalk along the ocean beach most days. Several restaurants within a 10 minute walk and quite a few more when we walked the boardwalk to Pacific Beach. The condo building was very quiet, never heard neighbors and only saw 2 or 3 others the entire week when going in our out. I would certainly stay here again in the future. It was a quick drive downtown to Seaport Village where we could park. We enjoyed a Padres game, Midway aircraft carrier museum and a harbor cruise all within walking distance from the Seaport Village parking area. Enjoyed watching the fireworks every night that I believe were from Seaworld, you could watch them from the condo balcony or a quick 2 or 3 minute walk out to the bay beach.

Great location, close to restaurants, convenience store, and far enough away from boardwalk that it is quiet and safe at night. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure!

We were there for 45 days, so we got to know the property and the owners quite well. First, Lorne is an outstanding host. Second, the condo at 950 sq ft was a perfect fit for my wife and I and our two dogs. It was nicely decorated with an African/SE Asia motif, and clean and comfortable, albeit not luxurious. Third, it is in south Mission Beach, about a 5 minute walk to the ocean and to Mission Bay, and only 10 minutes to Belmont Park and local restaurants and bars. Fourth, the price for our winter stay was very reasonable, and a great value relative to other nearby properties. On the other hand, the unit may be too small for four or more adults - for example, the dining room is more of a nook, and gets crowded with more than 3 people. In addition, the balcony is a tight fit for more than 2 folks, with pool gear to the left and a grill to the right. Finally, although the condo is close to beach, bay, and the center of MB, it is on the corner with Mission Blvd, the main local street, which gets noisy with motor vehicle and pedestrian traffic, especially on weekends with the windows open. However, overall this is a great and reasonably priced property close to the ocean and the bay for small parties.

We had a great time this year in San Diego. Lorne was a great host and his condo was very nice. Only 1 block to the boardwalk and beach. Great parking spot and air conditioning. Would absolutely love to stay again!! Thanks a bunch Lorne!

We were all so happy with Lorne’s beautiful home. It was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do and within walking distance of beaches and boardwalks. The house was roomy with two bedrooms and the gift of two bathrooms and was well furnished. When we arrived, Lorne met us and showed us around and was open throughout the week to answering questions. Enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this vacation home.

Easy check in with very friendly and accommodating host. Great location! Bay on one side, ocean on the other- within walking distance of so many family friendly activities (water, beach, Belmont Park, grocery store, restaurants). Great trip/condo for 4 adults and 2 kids!

We absolutely loved staying in your rental home! It was so close to everything and Loren met us there and showed us all around, he said if you need anything just text or call. My family was visiting San Diego for one of my daughters wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better location, close to the beach and the bay and anything else you would need.

Our first time in Mission Beach and we had a great time. Lorne was great to work with and helped us out with everything we needed. The condo was a nice size for a family of 4 with beds for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen and a couple portable AC units to keep us cool. The beach chairs, towels and boogie boards were also a great touch for our beach days.

My wife and I stayed here for ten days recently to enjoy the San Diego and Southern Ca area. When we first got there Lorne met us and showed where to park, how get into the building and even offered to carry luggage. He also showed us around the unit so we could be familiar with things. Throughout our stay Lorne was reachable, communicative and helpful. The unit is just as advertised on the website. The location is really outstanding as it is only one block from the beach and the bay... we really only started to enjoy the bayside in the last half of our trip, but encourage you visit earlier. There is a park and an entertainment park within blocks of the property as well; great if you have kids for sure. The unit had everything we needed and the provision of the portable air conditioners is a real plus for sleeping. We found the unit to be very comfortable and to meet all of our needs at a reasonable (fair) price. It is in an older building, but it has good security (entry requires a key) and laundry on the entry level if needed. It is literally within walking distance of most anything you would want to do at the beach. We enjoyed our stay and I would rate the accommodations as 4.5 stars (above system only allowed 4 or 5). There was only one suggestion I offered to Lorne which should be corrected for future visits. We would definitely consider returning to the property if in the area again.

The Best of Both Worlds....

Nestled between the tranquil bay and the bustling beach this condo was exactly what our family needed to fit the bill for everyone's tastes. From a quiet morning read on the bay with the soft sand to an afternoon romp in the waves with the crowds on the boardwalk....this condo gives you access to it all. The condo is quiet, the rooms large and the amenities endless. We stayed a month and are already planning to return to the same unit next year. The location was 5 minutes to SeaWorld and 10-15 minutes to Balboa Park,the airport, Old Town and the Bay front. For our 10 year old, the highlight was being able to walk to Belmont Park and ride a roller coaster every day and watching the SeaWorld ireworks from the balcony! It was a magical month and we can it wait to come back!

My family and I checked with Annette who was so sweet and gave us perfect directions on where to park. Communications with both her and her husband were so great. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location as we were merely minutes from the beach. There were restaurants and small markets right down the street that were so convenient for my littles needs. We would definitely stay again. We stayed at Lorne's place for a week while checking out different neighborhoods in San Diego. Parking is a breeze, the apartment is quiet and steps from both the bay and the beach. The beds were comfy, great wifi (I was able to work from the apartment) lots of kitchen equipment to use and it was very clean! Lorne checked us in upon arrival and was very flexible with our timing. He also responded quickly when we had a small issue with a locked door in the apartment and had it fixed right away. I'd absolutely recommend this spot if you're looking to stay in San Diego!

Where do I start? Lorne was there when we arrived (after a flight delay) and was quick to respond to any inquiries during our stay. The location is perfect! My husband, mother, 3yo and 1yo fit comfortably. Belmont park is two blocks away and has rides the kids can go on. There’s three awesome playgrounds walking distance. And then the beach and bay are each one block away. Incredible location for young kids! It’s also a 10-15 min drive to just about anywhere in SD. My husband and I enjoyed the nice balcony at night when the kids went to sleep. The beds were sooooo comfortable!! A pack n play was provided and there’s a walk in closet where the baby could sleep in a dark quiet spot. Laundry in the building couldn’t of been easier. I had whole foods delivered but there’s also a grocery store two blocks away. I could keep going! Look no further book this place!!!

From booking to check in... to check out! Was amazing. Everything we needed was in the apartment! Everything we needed to enjoy mission beach was outside the apartment ! Eveything in walking distance... Couldn't have asked for rhe nicest couple to rent from and property was like being at home! I can't wait to book again!

Condo was just as advertised. Owner was very responsive and greeted us on arrival and got us settled. Covered parking spot was great and fit my full size crew cab truck. Condo was clean, roomy, and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends.
