All of it... the historic building... the extensive secure grounds surrounding the property... pet friendly... easy access to beaches, walks, fishing etc but only 15 minutes from Portland by car... comfortable furnishings... has everything you need and more...

Fantastic property with so much character - outstanding conversion from church to accommodation.
Lovely property and great dog friendly garden - safe and secure.
The weekend was really cold and terrible weather but great fire with plenty of wood made it cosy and warm.
Fantastically styled with excellent couches,,comfortable bed and high quality linens.
Location was on a hill and so peaceful away from everything.
Communication with owner was outstanding. She was absolutely brilliant responding to questions and being helpful when we had issues prior to arrival.
Nothing - everything was brilliant.A few quirky things due to conversion but it made it half the fun.

A beautiful, comfortable, well appointed and thought out space. Plenty of stocked wood for the fireplace and everything we needed in the kitchen. Tranquil surroundings, very relaxing and quiet. Highly recommend.

We loved the unique atmosphere of the church, tastefully renovated, whilst still retaining the feel of a sacred place. Was able to hear the wonderful sound of crashing waves in the distance, birds cheeping and the sound of contented cows close by. As well as pet friendly. What else would one need!

The building was superb and had been meticulously renovated. The hosts were lovely, the setting was perfect for a relaxing holiday. Plus it was pet friendly.

This is such a wonderful property, I am so glad I found it and we were able to stay.
The lovely church is so charming and has been converted to a lovely little home.
Hosts provide you with firewood so we kept warm by the fire at night, in a cosy setting.
While there we did many of the stunning hikes nearby and my son was lucky enough to have seals come right up to say hello and the peer on the walk up to the seal colony.
I highly recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

It was an amazing experience. Unique and very peaceful. We had the best time. Hosts were very helpful and very easy to deal with. Close to lots of local attractions. Would definitely stay there again. :-)

The location was beautiful and secluded. Access would be a bit difficult if the weather was nasty, but we had nicer weather while we were staying. Absolutely wonderful place to stay, acoustics were amazing and the home felt richly historical.
Cleanliness wasn't quite where it could have been. C19 has caused a lot of properties to sit idle and so dust accumulation was to be a little expected but still. The property is definitely more suited to a couple + pets than a family.

Clean, spacious and quiet property. The perfect house for a getaway if you're in need of a de-stress. 3 minute drive to the surf club and an amazing beach and 2 minutes drive in the other direction to some pretty cool caves. Two thumbs up!
The lack of internet was a problem but I'm told wifi will go on soon.
