A charming place to stay in a charming little village.

Our room had been nicely updated with a very good heating/cooling system. There is ample parking. The Jonquin is located close to downtown but you won't experience the congestion.

That we were unable to stay longer.

Cute, historic motel close to town

Super cute, updated motel. Loved the room. Staff was great.

My only complaint is that because it is a historic motel, the plumbing isn’t great and the bathroom gets very cold.

Perfect fit for an overnight stay and no one was "Naked or Afraid" :-)

Very Quaint, clean room. Worked well for our overnight stay. Walking distance to various food locations. Eva was welcoming and very coridal.

Good stay in a comfortable room for one night.

Conveniently located at one end of town so a little quieter perhaps. Room (3) was cosy. Jen who met us at reception was very helpful with dinner suggestions. The bed was super comfortable! Great water pressure in the shower! Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Good to have a small fridge and microwave in the room and a decent sized cupboard for clothes if you’re staying awhile.

There were a large number of small black beetle-type bugs (I don’t think they were cockroaches) in the bathroom that kept coming out of the joint between the floor and the outside wall as fast as we could kill them! Not very comforting but at least they didn’t come into the bedroom! Also the air conditioning unit was rather noisy as it turned on and off throughout the night.

This is just the perfect little jem of a motel. It was comfortable, clean, quiet and adorable. Everything was perfect. Couldn't have asked for anything else. So I didn't.

Brief overnight stay. Met my needs perfectly.

The value. I like it when I can find a nice, comfortable, clean, inexpensive room that's not in some sketchy area with sketchy people hanging around. The Jonquil fit the bill. VERY nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again. Before I checked out, I met one of the owners, and she was delightful to speak with...really had a passion for making the Jonquil even better.

The room was fairly small, but certainly adequate for my needs.

It was very homey. Which accomplished the romantic feeling I had hoped.

The location was great. And as old as the building is, it seemed very modern.

Very good

The bed was very comfortable and the room was well appointed. They are dog-friendly and have a nice little enclosed area where I was able to walk my puppy.

It was cute, very quaint and HOMEY.. Bed VERY COMFORTABLE and VERY CLEAN.

I know it's vintage, but inside the closet, the back wall was coming apart, some blind slats were broken and concerning was the BIG BLACK ELECTRIC CABLE that was uncovered exposing the lines.

Quaint & quiet place to stay

Quaint motel. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting outside at the patio tables. Nice quiet place to stay.

Small bathroom, no heat in bathroom, tiny sink & countertop, didn't like that the only outlet is directly over the sink - not safe.

Overall a comfortable place to stay that met my needs perfectly.

Jonquil is not a fancy place. It is a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay. The staff was cheerful, helpful, and answered all of our questions.

I know that I am nit picking here. The morning temperature outside was below freezing. The bathroom has no heat, the tile floor and walls are very cold in the morning.

Great host, very friendly and accommodating. Nice grounds. The rooms were comfortable and very clean.

We booked two rooms. In one room the heaters didn't work that well.
