Eine grüne Oase, in welcher man sich verwöhnen lassen kann.

Eine sehr schön angelegte Anlage mit viel Grün. Wir hatten eine Pool-Villa, von welcher man vom eigenen kleinen Pool in den grossen Pool (Fluss) schwimmen konnte. Es ist viel Privatsphäre gegeben. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich. Das Essen sowohl beim Frühstück als auch beim Abendessen war sensationell. Wir durften abends bei unserer Halbpension 3 Gänge aus der regulären Karte auswählen. Teilweise wurden die Speisen direkt am Tisch zubereitet.

Die Umgebung ist nicht besonders schön anzusehen, es ist sehr karg und geröllig. Oder man schaut auf die mit Hotels und Apartments zugebauten Hänge.

Royal River was exceptional for its quiet and its comfort. Perfect for convalescence and a peaceful

The hotel was new and the completion of the infrastructure and planting of trees, shrubs and flowers was quite exceptional. It was remarkably quiet and yet clearly allowed all the guests to enjoy themselves without any constraint. Excellent Spa and good treatment staff and facilities. The pool villas are ideal for a quiet and relaxing holiday.

For a 5* hotel, the dining arrangements were a little strange: one needed to book for dinner. I would normally expect to opt out not in. In each of the special evenings, French and Japanese, there was one course which fell far below what was expected. The pastry chef however, was quite outstanding on all occasions dining at the hotel. The menu in Top Brasserie was too hit or miss. When hit, very good, but there should be no misses (the chicken was road kill not well presented!) One became used to the slalom run through the Paradise room to the buffet! I hope that the hotel will consider extending the TV services offered beyond world wide news and US films. Modern streaming is now with us! These are small points about a very good hotel in a very convenient and quiet location, to which we will return.

We had a fabulous stay and especially loved our private space and the river.

The design, and interior and exterior decoration of this hotel is truly inspired. Peaceful, exotic, quirky, there’s something new to catch your eye at every turn. Natural materials are used throughout in a very beautiful way.

Unfortunately the surrounding area of the hotel isn’t great, and we missed being able to take nice walks.

Uitzonderlijke service

Geweldig mooi gestyled hotel. We zijn al op veel plaatsen geweest maar dit is toch wel een van de mooiste hotels waar we ooit mochten verblijven. Service is top. Altijd een glimlach, nooit een chagrijnig gezicht. Ik snap werkelijk sommige recensies niet. Deze mensen moeten wel heel verwend zijn. Je betaalt veel voor dit hotel maar het is iedere cent dubbel en dwars waard. Het was een belevenis.

Ik kan geen 9,5 meer geven dus voor een 10 gekozen. Het prachtige ligbad in onze kamer kon niet worden gebruikt omdat de stop lekte. Voor ons geen probleem met zo’n prachtige verwarmde ‘rivier’ naast ons appartement. De keuken van het Top restaurant was goed maar niet geweldig.

Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Besonders die schön gestaltete Anlage mit der vielfältigen Bepflanzung und stilvollen Einrichtung. Das Personal war aufmerksam und immer freundlich. Der private Pool und der Zugang zum Fluss bieten sehr viel Privatsphäre, absolute Ruhe und Entspannung.

Maravillosa experience. Gran lujo con mayúsculas

el servicio es excepcional. Todo para que la estancia sea lo más placentera posible. Las villas con pisicina privada son de auténtico lujo La comida y bebida son buenísimos

solo dos cosas, de mi villa (la 30): 1. el WC estaba demasiado alto. A penas se llega de puntillas, por lo que no es buena postura para hacer "del número 2" 2. las plantas al sur de la piscina privada son demaisado altas y tapan todo el sol sobre la misma en diciembre, por lo que no se puede estar en el agua y que te de el sol a la vez

Tout simplement feerique

Cest un paradi artifiel telement bien pense quil en devient naturel. Tout est pense pour votre bien etre et votre quietude. Bravo.

Onvergetelijk

Voor mij was het zwembad het absolute hoogtepunt van mijn verblijf. Het zwembad was ook goed onderhouden, dus ik heb er echt van genoten. Kortom, het zwembad maakte mijn verblijf echt onvergetelijk

They were able to fulfill our demands, even the last-minute ones. Excellent service! They offered us more cava on our father's birthday celebration and gave us a complimentary chocolate cake as well.

A pkace like no other. Point.

We loved everything. We enjoyed everything. Classy but relaxed. An oasis of tranquility, aesthetics and luxury. Wonderful breakfast. Especially on Sundays. With the sounds of violin. A divine experience. Good restaurants. And the river! All in all, a place to remember. A place you want to go back to.

Exceptional

An absolutely dreamy experience at the Royal River. Our first time booking a luxury hotel and it was wonderful to have our own private pool, and large living area which was lovely and private. Beautifully designed throughout, so many details had been thought about. And we loved all the plants! Breakfast fantastic, the themed Asian night was the best food we experienced at dinner. The lunch food at the main swimming pool were delicious and fresh. A particular favourite was the poké bowl. Walking distance to La Caleta the local town, with some good food options which we did 3 times whilst there. We ventured south along the coastline walk which was nice and highlighted the touristic area. We doing take advantage of the more rugged walk north. We did go on the 3 hour shared Blue Jack sailboat trip organised through the hotel which was great. We were lucky enough to see pilot whales a couple of metres from the boat and we swam in a local bay. The spa staff were also very kind when I had my massage and applied some aloe vera when I had some sunburn! We slept amazingly!! Bed incredibly comfy. We also spent some time in the shared pool areas which were great too and the staff were attentive.

Perhaps it's the nature of the place, but the majority was a very formal experience. We enjoyed interactions with staff members who were themselves aswell as being very professional. In particular Christian and Marina. The Top restaurant, a beautiful setting, and service brilliant, however, the portion sizes were huge and all the food was rich. We understand the requirement to be luxurious, however the food was so rich the portion sizes don't need to be so large. This may just be personal preference of course.

A luxurious experience

The beds were so comfy! The breakfast was really nice, soon as you arrived they greeted you with drinks and a tour.

At breakfast when we arrived no one spoke to us or told us how breakfast was so we had to wait to see what other people were doing to know it was self serve

Relaxing paradise..

Charming Villa with spacious rooms and beautiful terrace with private pool. Swimming in the river surrounded by the tropical plants is an authentic experience. It feels like heaven. The comfortable bed is perfect for recovering energies. We had dinner a few times in the Hotel and every time the food was fantastic. We enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was rich and good quality. It would have been nice to have a menu because we didn't know what is possible to order from the kitchen. Even after asking a staff member, we didn't really know what we could get. Marina from the spa area has always a smile for you. Samir and Stefan from Reception made us feel welcomed. The possiblity to communicate with the reception trough Whatsapp is very handy. In general, the hotel is well designed in every single aspect. If you forget to bring a book with you, don't worry. There is a bookshelf with books in many languages.

During breakfast, one of the managers was often there at the restaurant and would hold conversation with most of the guests offering several activities to do. Unfortunately, it seemed like she had some favorites because others, like us, didn't get the same attention. I regretfully have to say that the same manager was present at the moment of our check out and didn't even say goodbye. That was impolite and showed lack of basic hospitality.

If you’re looking for a luxurious, relaxing and romantic break - look no further.

Rooms were exceptional. The best hotel room we have ever stayed in.

Service could be a bit hit or miss. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, but on a few occasions when we asked for drinks, they either never arrived, or we received something different.

A stay at a paradise

Everything was amazing! Staff went above and beyond to make the stay unforgettable, the villa is cozy and well-designed, and it is never crowded no matter where you go. Great food, top notch spa, and they have a parking garage for a car. Best choice on Tenerife for sure!
