About this house rental
Luxurious, modern, waterfront home on beautiful Long Lake in North Bridgton across a non busy street is a grassy area with 75' of pristine, private sandy beach with private dock and floating swim dock, also has plenty of lounge chairs, picnic table, 2 kayaks, paddleboard and canoe right by the water, for your use. You enter the home through a very comfortable screened in porch. It is very Iight and bright, with lots of windows for views of the lake. Open floor plan in the kitchen and living room. The living area has a cathedral ceiling and catwalk. The gourmet kitchen is a foodie's delight! The master suite is on the main floor, with a king bed, private deck with fire pit and secluded porch swing. Upstairs has two private bedrooms with king beds, each with ensuite. The basement has five adorable twin size cubbies enticing for children and comfortable enough for adults with a small living area with a futon couch and ensuite. Plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors with a fire-pit outside the master bedroom for privacy and an additional gas fire pit on the stone patio outside the kitchen in the front of the house. Down the steps there is an additional wood burning fire pit and plenty of seating to roast marshmallows while listening to the loons and enjoying the stars in the night sky. There are several lounge chairs and picnic table to relax and enjoy the beautiful grassy area and sandy beach, which has a gradual, sloping entry into the crystal clear water. For your enjoyment, we supply a canoe, paddle board, 2 kayaks and plenty of outdoor toys for you to enjoy. After hours of fun, you can rinse off with our outdoor hot/cold shower. We have miniature golf, restaurants & shopping at the causeway in Naples (15 mins.). A short drive to Bridgton (5 mins.) for an indoor or drive-in movie, restaurants, ice cream and shopping, or Harrison (2 mins.) away for ice cream, grocery store or eat at The Olde Mill Tavern. If you're up for more shopping, it is 30 miles to North Conway, NH (tax free), 40 miles to Portland, ME, and 45 miles to Freeport, ME. Boat rentals available nearby at Harrison Marina and Moose Landing in Naples. 40+ miles of boatable waterway on Long Lake, attached Brandy Pond and Sebago Lake via the Songo River. It is beautiful in every season from winter snow skiing, (15 mins. away) to snowmobiling, leaf peeping in late Sept - Oct. & of course all the activities in the summer. There are so many things to do in the area we can't list them all!!

Everything about the property was as advertised or better. Valarie was an exceptional communicator always responding to messages immediately. Everything about the house is high quality. I had some concerns about having to cross a street to get to the private beach but those concerns turned out to be unfounded. Very little traffic. We would definitely go back.

excellent house. living room a/c not big enough to cool house. bedroom has portable a/c which worked well. bedrooms don’t have light blocking shades but very bedrooms. basement musty but a lot of space. 2 nice bedrooms on 2nd floor. 1 nice bedroom on 1st floor then more beds and rooms in basement. nice kitchen and garage. beach across a small street with few cars. nice sandy beach with canoe, 2 kayaks and a paddle board. nice dock as well. great house. good internet speeds as well.

AMAZING LAKE HOUSE
We have rented this awesome Lake House for 5 years now. It is a great family house. One of the few homes on Long Lake that has a sandy beach which makes it perfect for kids. Our crew of two families with 6 kids ranging in age from 7-15 love sleeping in the "cubbies" in the basement. There is room for everyone and this house truly has it all. From AC, super comfortable beds, lots of space and a gourmet kitchen to fabulous and super responsive owners, this is as good as lake Living gets. If you are able to book this house, do it!!! You won't regret it!

What an amazing week!
My wife and I have done a fair amount of traveling with our family and this home was by far one of the nicest weeks we have ever had. With COVID, we were worried about traveling, but Valerie made everything so simple, easy and relaxing for us. This home has everything. I do not think there was one piece of furniture, kitchenware, outdoor equipment that we were missing. Everything in the house was ready and even explained in perfect details if anything wasn't push button. The location is perfect. Close enough to Harrison to walk up and grab something from the small market or an ice cream but also placed on a serene and peaceful private beach and dock on Long Lake. We really do hope to come back, it was perfect.

The reviews are all five stars for a reason. Our experience exceeded our already high expectations. We loved all of the amenities in this beautiful, spacious, air conditioned home, with outdoor fire pits, BBQ, and an outstanding private sandy beach with crystal clear water, dock and raft. We were able to totally relax and go at our own pace. For those so inclined, North Conway was a short drive for outlet shopping. Valarie was helpful and very responsive to our questions. We are hoping to be able to visit again. Now, if someone could do something with the exchange rate on the Canadian dollar, that would help.

A great vacation week for our extended family
This property really had it all for our large (6 children - ages 3 -11 and 6 adults including grandparents) family. The home is clean, spacious and filled with modern amenities. It is laid out well so that each adult couple could have their own private space and the kids could be kids in the downstairs bunk-room. Everyone loved the sandy private beach and having the dock for our rented boat made water skiing and tubing an easy get away. We did a day trip to Conway (Storyland) which is about a 1 hour drive and also spent a fair amount of time exploring and shopping in the lovely town of Bridgeton. Valerie (the owner) answered all of our questions promptly and provided us with everything we needed to make the most of our week. Our whole group agreed we had one of our best family vacations yet.

Beautiful vacation home! Happy Memories!
This property exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in we were bedazzled by the house itself. It accommodated us, our children, and their families with ease. Our hosts provided a well stocked home without missing any item imaginable. The beach toys had something for everyone of all ages including a floaty for the baby!
The beach was an easy walk across a quiet road, and with chairs in the shade and sun. The beach, dock, and float provided many hours of splashing, jumping, swimming, and fishing. Our group was happy and content to just hang out there and enjoy.
Evenings were aglow with a wonderful fire pit just a walk to and from the house, on the gently lit pathway.
It was truly a peaceful vacation in a comfortable home. Thank you so much for the experience!

Beyond perfect luxury vacation home!
Just got back home from a perfect-in-every-way stay at this phenomenal home!
This luxury property could be straight out of the pages of Architectural Digest.
Every detail of this gorgeous home is a delight.
The listing description and photos are accurate.
The home is bright, warm, welcoming and very clean.
The grounds are beautifully maintained.
The owner responded immediately to several minor questions that arose during the week.
We especially loved renting pontoon boats during the week
and traveling down to the end of Long Lake into Brandy Pond, down the Songo River
and out into Sebago Lake sand banks for an afternoon of swimming and relaxing in the sun.
The private beach area is excellent
and the dock, large chairs and sun umbrella got used and appreciated every single day.
We loved the ease of the gas fire pit
for late afternoon conversations around a fire.
At night we enjoyed a couple of nights of making s'mores
down at the real wood fire pit.
Our vacation stay in this deluxe home was A+ fantastic!

Wonderful house for our family of 12, 6 adults and 6 children.
We had a fabulous time at this well equipped house. It was spacious with plenty of room for us all. Children loved the cubbies and spent a lot of time playing there. Enjoyed swimming in the lake, playing with so many beach toys, and using numerous floats. Even took the canoe to Harrison for ice cream. Great week.

Beautiful well kept property
Our family of six adults and three children had a lovely time here. The beach was great and easy for young children to walk into but had a nice dock as well as a swim out float for the adults, which had pop up lounges. Nice lounge chairs on the beach. The garage was filled with many kinds of beach toys and floats. We especially liked the gas fired fireplace just outside the main house so the adults could enjoy after dinner company and be close enough to hear the children. Kitchen was well supplied as we all like to cook. The owner was helpful and answered questions when we called. Be sure to notice that while linens are included there is an extra fee which I didn't see until about a week before. I would recommend this place.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were treated to a very well maintained property that had every amenity you could need. From a kitchen that had every gadget and appliance to the water toys and fire pit and wonderful screen porch, dock and swimming raft... the list goes on and on.
The location is awesome too! We really enjoyed renting a pontoon boat from Gateway Marina, in walking distance from the property. Cruising the lake was lots of fun... Kids took a plane ride and rented a Jet Ski in nearby Naples. Got a chance to feast on some Lobstah :) at one of the great restaurants and got to do some shopping too.
We lived in NH years ago and didn't realize how much we missed sleeping with the windows open at night... with loons calling from the lake. So peaceful! A much needed break from the heat and humidity of FL!
All in all... If you want a great place for your family vacation this is it!

We could not be more pleased with our stay at this beautiful home, it truly is "heaven on the lake". The house is absolutely beautiful, perfectly located at the end of Long Lake with very little boat traffic. There is a very large beach area, plenty of room to hang out and play games or just sit and relax. We loved the dock with the wooden benches and umbrella, that was a great place to sit during the afternoons. We had 2 boats - spent several days on the lake swimming, tubing, floating on rafts and sightseeing. There were 12 of us and we all fit very comfortable with more room to spare! Valerie was an absolute gem from beginning to end. She was a pleasure to work with and extremely accommodating! During the evenings if you time it right you will see the moon rising over the lake directly across the driveway - it was simply beautiful. We had a great week, loved your home it was so comfortable and beautifully decorated! Thank you again for allowing my family to have their own piece of Heaven for a week! I hope we can come back some day for another vacation!

What an incredible property that we were blessed to rent for the week. The pictures and description accurately reflects our experience. We had a family of 12 and there was plenty of room to connect yet have your own space if you wanted it. The basement is a wonderful and unique space for children. You can walk to town and are within driving distance to Bridgton and Naples. We even spent a day in Portland so we could show our family from Arizona the rocky Maine coast. We would strongly recommend this rental property if you are looking for the real essence of Maine (I grew up in Maine and this property did not disappoint). We look forward to going back!

In one of my favorite movies, ‘Field of Dreams’, a young baseball player asks Kevin Costner, “Is this Heaven?” “No it’s Iowa” Costner replies. Wistfully the young man says, “It seems like heaven to me.”
This past week, I found heaven in Maine. Specifically, my VRBO rental in Bridgeton, nicknamed Heaven by its owners, David and Valerie. And very aptly named. From the spacious family living area, to the modern kitchen, to the bright and comfortable bedroom suites to the warm and friendly children’s room there is nothing that I could suggest as an improvement. The children friendly beach with its dock, swim raft, pedal boat, canoe and the selection of beach toys at the house provided endless hours of fun for my four grandchildren. The nearby pontoon boat and stand-up paddleboard rental provided the adults with more activities than we could fit in to just one week.
We did walk and paddle to Harrison for ice-cream more than once. The grandchildren enjoyed their first night at a drive-in movie while we grandparents enjoyed a great concert at the Deertrees Theater. We cooked a few nights on the grill and whenever we could fit it in, we relaxed around the gas fire pit with our wine as we watched the full moon rising over the lake.
If you are looking for the perfect place for your whole family to unwind from their day to day life stresses and get together and re-connect with each other, you need to look no further than Heaven.

Together with two other families, we stayed at Heaven on Long Lake for a week this summer! The home is beautiful and comfortable and it is obvious the owners take pride in their home, while making it comfortable for guests! The home was a perfect set up for our three families, providing private bedroom/bathroom space and private living quarters for our adult "kids". Valarie and David were very responsive and able to answer any and all questions very promptly! We had a GREAT time enjoying the beautiful Long Lake! We rented a Platoon boat for the week and spent many hours out on the beautiful lake and ventured on exploring Long Lake, Brandy Pond, the Lochs and Sebago Lake. The home is convenient to groceries, restaurants and bars. Although with a group our size we didn't venture to any restaurants, there was plenty to do and plenty to choose from. The common area of the home was a PERFECT size for our large group and we never felt crowded. I recommend that anyone looking to enjoy a gorgeous home with beautiful views and responsive and kind owners, I highly recommend you stay at Heaven at Long Lake. At first the traffic on the highway behind the home seemed loud to me but from the screen porch into the kitchen it was gone. The house was totally insulated and was cooled and heated with clean heat pumps. My three generation family enjoyed their beds and nooks, their patio or their deck. The mornings were greeted with waffles from the great stove and cast iron grates. We walked down a wondrous pathway day or night, pass the molting glass fire pit then down to the big wood fire pit. As you cross the lane be careful. This could use a cross walk and caution signs. The tree lined path goes down to an ell shape pier that's deep enough outside for your 22 foot boat. The inside of the pier is beautiful white sand shallow enough that the five yo's could take their first jump off a pier. The children including the adults were catching and releasing fish. Then as if on cue, an orange sunset and the loons lonely cry ends another Camelot day. Thank you, Valery and David for sharing your home and a wonderful part of your lives.

This home is very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for two families with teenagers to spread out and enjoy on a rainy day. One of our kids is 6ft 3in. And fit well in the cubbies in the lower level. The owners provided every convenience to make our stay easy. There is alot of parking which was perfect since between the two families we all arrived at different times. The beach is perfect for swimming and motor boat fit well at the doc. The cove is very calm, it's a great location on the lake. I look forward to returning. We were very lucky to find this rental, we are spoiled for any others.

My wife and I moved to Maine in 2007 and have been renting houses on the lake to accommodate guests since then. This rental is in an entirely different category than most on the lake system by far. Conditioned to deal with an empty nesters old lake house and thirty year old furniture, I almost dropped the keys when I entered this home, it's stunning. Pride of ownership is one thing, feeling like the homeowner just prepped for being photographed for Achitectural Digest, well that's just so nice it tickles you funny.
The dock is in excellent shape and easily accommodated my 22' pontoon, a larger boat would fit well too. The house is immaculate, the furniture is fantastic and plentiful. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, I'm used to having to eat out cause I typically find thirty year old pots and pans. The house is landscaped which is pretty rare, the outdoor furniture is new and not from Costco, and there's a fun lakeside gas firepit which makes life easy, and plenty of gas arounce for the grill and pit.
Valerie me, my wife and friends couldn't thank you enough for sharing your wonderful home with us. We cruised the lake, and road the trails in my jeep and had a fantastic week. I couldn't recommend this place enough, except when I want it, then it's terrible and you should stay home lol. We're already excited to go back and we only live an hour away!
