Welcome to Casa Santa Barbara! Beautifully situated behind private security gates, this spectacular 5 Bedroom 4 ½ Bathroom luxury waterfront estate offers everything one could possibly expect from a five star vacation residence. If you are seeking absolute luxury, not to mention privacy, look no further. Casa Santa Barbara has been meticulously updated and newly furnished by both the homeowner and management company to ensure your stay will not only meet your expectations, but will hopefully, far exceed. From the moment you first enter through the private security gates, it becomes rather evident Casa Santa Barbara is the very definition of a private luxury estate. The grounds are meticulously landscaped and offer absolute privacy. The large circular driveway offers ample parking for a minimum of four (4) automobiles. For your convenience, there is covered parking directly off the main entry steps to the home. Upon entering Casa Santa Barbara, you are greeted by an open foyer entry which leads to the spectacular living area of the home. The main living area of the home is exceptionally large and is an ideal setting for entertaining both family and guests. The living area offers fifteen foot ceilings, not to mention spectacular, unobstructed, views of the exceptionally private rear yard (equipped with heated pool) and waterfront area. The living area features two full size leather sofas, as well as an over sized leather chair with ottoman. There is an entertainment center equipped with a 60” plasma television, DVD player and surround sound stereo system. Similar to the living area, the kitchen is exceptionally large and open, offering unobstructed views of the main level of the home (living room, dining areas, etc.), as well as the rear yard pool and water view areas. The kitchen is equipped with granite counters, stainless appliances and breakfast counter dining for six (6). There are two (2) main dining areas in the home. The formal dining table offers seating for eight (8). The secondary dining table offers seating for six (6) and offers spectacular outdoor pool and water views. There are three (3) sets of French doors which lead to the outdoor pool area from the living room. The entire second floor of this spectacular home is comprised solely of the private and spacious master suite. Beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated, the master suite offers the following: King Size Bed, two nightstands, a full size dresser, a work desk with lamp and large walk-in closet. For your enjoyment, there is a 42” plasma television. The master bathroom offers a custom walk-in shower and a granite vanity sink. The ground floor offers four spacious bedrooms. Equipped with a full size heated pool and chaise lounge pool chairs on the adjacent deck, the rear yard is situated on 150 feet of southern exposed water and presents breathtaking views of the constant boating activity. The pool area also features a custom outdoor bar with sink and BBQ with outdoor dining for eight (8). The main beach portal is a short distance away and offers both lifeguard towers and outdoor cabanas for daily rental. Four of my friends decided that the 5 of us needed a reunion. A couple of them haven't seen me since high school...FORTY years ago! We found Casa Santa Barbara and rented it for a week. The pictures on the site don't really do it justice.
The property is situated in close proximity to EVERYTHING you could want. Supermarket is 3 minutes away, beach is 5 minutes away (15 or 20 if walking), restaurants galore within minutes as well.
The inside of the house is stunning!! Every bedroom was comfortable and my husband and I arrived an hour before our friends and couldn't decide which bedroom we wanted. Four of the five have full bathrooms and, unfortunately, the one without had the best view. It was originally set up as an office and had a fantastic view of the pool and waterways. Without a bathroom, we left it for our one friend who was only coming for 3 days lol. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are all very nice with one having a standard tub/shower combo. All the others have walk in showers. The owners left bar soap and small bottles of shampoo, conditioner, etc. Four of the bedrooms are on the first floor. The fifth is upstairs and takes up the second floor. That room is larger and has a small balcony so you can sit outside and watch the boats go by. Everyone was happy with their accomodations!
The gathering areas of the house are open floor concept and made it easy for us to talk while some were cooking and others on the couch. The kitchen is VERY well appointed with a large fridge, dishwasher, oven and countertop convection oven. There are plenty of plates, glasses, coffee cups and any kind of cooking utensil you could need. The electric stove was alright, but none of us usually use electric and prefer gas, but it worked for its intended purposes....especially since we cooked breakfast and dinner for 8-10 people every day. There is a smaller, bar height table to eat at situated in a nook that has a great view of the outside. We only used the 8 person, full dining room table though. There is both an island in the kitchen (where the stove is located) as well as a VERY large bar/island that surrounds the entire kitchen and where we spent the most time sitting and talking while people cooked. The bar has plenty of outlets so you can sit and work on your laptop, charge phones, etc. Very convenient. It is a beautiful kitchen.
The living room has two couches and a single chair. They were very comfortable and allowed us to watch the large television that is there. The tv and sound system are separate and it was a bit frustrating that they didn't work on one remote, but we didn't spend too much time there anyway.
The backyard is the star of the show. There is a nice pool that I and my friend spent most of our time in. There are beach towels, pool noodles to float on and the cleaning company came twice while we were there to clean, fill and put in the necessary chemicals. In July, we didn't need it, but there is a heating unit if you come in the colder months. There is a picnic table with umbrella as well as a BBQ grill. The dock let my friends fish, but they didn't get any bites. The view is fantastic!! We watched boats come and go, the sunsets and, on a few nights, lighting storms in the distance. We spent hours almost every day just sitting and talking out there. You will also see the family of iguanas that live in the trees. They keep their distance, but were fun to watch.
I almost forgot to mention that there is also a full size washer and dryer so you can do your laundry during your stay.
The only negative thing I can say (and it isn't enough that I am going to ding any stars) is regarding the acoustics. It is VERY echo-y inside the house. If the television was on or multiple people were talking in different areas in the kitchen/living areas it can be difficult to hear things. You will need to just get closer to the person you are talking to.
We would definitely rent this property again without hesitation.

The entire group had a Blast at Casa Santa Barbara. Perfect location for beach, bars or Publix runs. The pool was perfect in the afternoons during Sunset. No one had any complaints! Easy check in and out. Thanks again, we will be back!!!

Beautiful water views, lovely pool (extra charge to heat it), high ceilings, tons of counter space! 4 rooms with their own bathrooms and showers or bathtubs, and 1 extra spacious room without a bathroom. I also liked pulling the car up to the front door, protected from the rain by a huge overhang. Very convenient! Advice: make sure you don't slip on the stone floors, especially in the bathrooms! CON: the vrbo agreement will be supplemented by a very extensive additional agreement that *insanely* provides that should the home become totally unusable -say due to a hurricane- or should the AC stop working that this is a risk the RENTER accepts and they won't get a refund. I was under the gun to get a spot, but that fine print is downright offensive. Yeah if I damage the place I should make it right. But if the LANDLORD can't provide a fully working place, then that should result in a REFUND to the renter. That said, the management is very responsive and the place is really lovely. Just "renter beware" on that contract.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Santa Barbara, one of By the Sea Vacation Villas, and it offered an amazing waterfront experience. The view from the house was absolutely stunning, overlooking the peaceful waters of the intracoastal waterway. Waking up to such a picturesque scene was truly a delight.
The villa's spacious pool was the perfect place for our family to relax and soak up the serene surroundings. Whether we were swimming, fishing, simply lounging by the poolside or watching the boats go by, we couldn't get enough of the tranquil ambiance.
Tanya, our property manager, was extremely communicative and attentive to our needs. She made sure our stay was comfortable and went above and beyond to ensure everything was in order. Her prompt and friendly communication added an extra level of satisfaction to our vacation. We look forward to our next rental experience with her!

Beautiful home that accommodated our large family of adult kids and grandkids. Large spacious rooms & a bathroom/shower for each. A half bath was added bebff we got in main living area. Master suite was huge and offered Papa & Grammy a place to retreat too. Beautiful pool & view of intracoastal and Lake Lettuce. Short 5 minute drive to pompano beach and all the shops and restaurants who'd want. Overall a great stay for our two weeks.

Home was beautiful and accommodated our four couples with ease. The pool is great, we spent many hours in and around the pool. The neighborhood is very safe and great for walking. Tanya and her team were very helpful and responsive answering questions and addressing issues with the house. We are coming back next year.

My family enjoyed our stay at Casa Santa Barbara in November 2022. We found everything clean and well-organized when we arrived. We loved the beautiful pool and the house had everything we needed for privacy and comfort for us and our adult children. We even managed to cook Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen. We found the location very convenient, with ample parking. We are already checking our calendars to see when we will be able to return!

We loved our stay, even during a hurricane! The communication and responsiveness by the management company was amazing and the best service we have ever had. They answered every question we had and stopped by promptly when needed. Even dropped off flashlights, batteries and a pie before the storm hit! The yard and pool are really special and our group spent more time in the pool than at the beach. The beds were comfy and bedrooms spacious. As a luxury property, there is some updating needed (kitchen appliances and cabinets, and the dock is weathered and splintering) but overall it is a really wonderful place. We will definitely use the management company again.

All 9 of us in the group, enjoyed the roominess of the property, we all enjoyed our individualized rooms with bathrooms and king size beds in each, property manager worked with us on having to reschedule because of weather issues and did that with no problem! Enjoyed having the kitchen that was furnished with ideas we needed to cook.

Casa Santa Barbara is a nice home in a great location. Rented for my extended family for my son's wedding nearby.
We had three couples and two singles and it was more than enough room. It was adequately stocked with everything needed.
The house cleaners left a dirty rag on the table at the entrance, men's underwear drying on the chair on the balcony and a dirty sock in a living room chair. There was also what may have been dog feces on the balcony although it could have been a wild animal, I am not sure. These things are easily fixed with a little attention to detail.
I would give it five stars if it was updated a bit. It needs to be refreshed. Things like some worn cabinets, counters and couches, showerheads that sprayed all over, doors that were tough to close.
The pool area was nice but again, could use a refresh.
The dock was pretty rough and questionably safe.
All things that could, and should be easily remedied like any home.
The landscape crew showed up one afternoon and performed what appeared to be a major clean-up. They were there for close to an hour with multiple machines which was pretty noisy. It happened to be one of the few days we were at the home enjoying the pool. I understand the need for this work but it should have been scheduled for a time when the home wasn't rented. This was not a simple lawn mowing.
I am not being critical, I am being honest with this assessment. We live in a resort area and own rentals ourselves. Two people in our party did turnovers on weekly rentals for years.
It is a large home in a good location at a decent price and overall a good house, fine for a fun family vacation.

This was a perfect place for my crew. We love the pool, and the dockdock gives that extra feel of being in FL. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. When we asked for a small request, the manager (their team) was quick to respond. Would definitely return again.

Beautiful, spacious home - plenty of room for our group of 9. The pool is much bigger than other rental homes we have had & was well maintained. Loved the lush greenery and spacious property on both sides of the house that provided total privacy - and a spectacular setting right on the bay off the intracoastal! Management was on the spot for the brief hiccup with the air conditioner & had things up & running immediately. Will definitely stay again!

Adult bacation
We were supposed to be grandparents, adult married children and their children. Due to covid the grandparents stayed home with the babies and our daughters and their husbands went to the house. They enjoyed the house and the beautiful view. They said it was better than the photos!

We are a family of 10 (two sisters and our families). We had an awesome vacation! The house is spacious, and in a great location— Lake Santa Barbara (sometimes referred to as Lake Lettuce) is wide and beautiful and provides beautiful views. The beach, restaurants and atmosphere in Pompano is family friendly, yet sophisticated. We have been renting in SE Fla for the past 19 years straight and the property manager, Tanya, is the best we have ever dealt with— when we arrived there was a large weed that had grown into a tree that was blocking the beautiful view from the house. I was a little embarrassed to complain, but view is part of what you pay for, right? I let Tanya know and someone came over right away to cut it down! Amazing! We will def be dealing with Tanya and her family run company By the Sea Vacation Villas/Oasis Realty Group, Inc. in the future (they have other properties— I was so impressed with their service, they deserve this shout out!). We will likely rent this house again and again!
