Beautiful historic house, near the pine forest in the center of Viareggio a hundred meters from the sea.
Wide enjoyable, airy spaces with front garden, side terrace and a nice roof terrace.
The house is articulated with a game of stairs in ancient wood, on various levels ((li, creating particular views.
The ground floor is characterized by an important fireplace that identifies the relaxation area.
In the different rooms that overlook the ground floor are the equipped kitchen, the dining area and a small balcony.
The sleeping area is located on the upper floors.

Loved our stay. What a unique home. Gloria was so kind and gracious. Home was in an older historic building, which was very well kept and well appointed. Felt like I was traveling back in time, in a good way. A fun quirky vibe and decor. Building locks with those old skeleton keys. So fun. Such a good location, central to town. Beach walkable in 5 minutes. Would stay again! Thank you Gloria! A wonderful stay.

7 of us stayed in the house for a week (5 adults and 2 young children) and we had a wonderful holiday in Viareggio. - Gloria was an excellent host: she replied quickly to messages before the trip (both via vrbo and text message) and she really exceeded her role by providing urgent assistance when one of our party was unwell (grazie mille, Gloria!). - the house is huge (4 floors, and lots of stairs), well-equipped (kitchen etc), and was very clean on arrival, with 3 bathrooms being very useful for such a big party. - the location was absolutely perfect for us, as it was both a short walk to the lungomare and to the park, both of which were great for the kids. Lots of good restaurants and cafes nearby too. - we were there in mid-june so it was not yet super hot, and the air conditioning worked well for us. - the house is excellent for families and would maybe be even better for a large party of friends with no children, though one of the rooms can only accommodate one. - overall, fantastic place and we would be delighted to stay there again!

Gloria was a great host. She responded promptly to issues. The house is in an ideal location, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The many levels and stairs were a bit of a challenge.

While we ended up staying in Viareggio during the hottest summer on record, we still had a great time. The air conditioners went out on day 1, but Gloria arrived the next day with a technician and took care of the problem immediately. I highly recommend this property.

This is a very unique house with lots of stairs. The courtyard is beautiful and we really enjoyed eating a few meal there. Gloria was very sweet and helpful.

Stilvolles, gepflegtes altes Haus in hervorragender Lage

Schönes altes Haus , kleiner Garten mit schattenspendenden Bäumchen , Esstisch und Stühlen . Genug Platz um Fahrräder sicher abzustellen (4Stück) Perfekte Lage direkt neben dem Park . Bis zum Strand 5 Minuten zu Fuß.Unser kleiner Hund hat es geliebt .Klimaanlage in den Schlafzimmern funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Bäder sind alt , es ist aber alles sauber und gepflegt . Badewanne vorhanden und 2 weitere Duschen . Die obere Etage haben wir gar nicht genutzt. Dort wäre noch ein 4 tes Schlafzimmer . Man darf nicht geräuschempfindlich sein, es ist in der Nacht ein lebendiges Viertel , die Leute kommen aus den Bars und es ist natürlich laut. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört ( Ohrstöpsel) . Bis zum Hundestrand / Naturstrand sind es mit dem Fahrrad 15 Minuten. Fahrrad Verleih ist direkt im Park oder 2 Straßen weiter . Viareggio geht am besten mit dem Fahrrad. Parken für den Pkw für eine Woche 20 Euro . Ticket kann man im Tabachi kaufen . Wenn die Straßen Reinigung kommt ( steht vorn an der Straße angeschrieben) , muss das Auto umgeparkt werden . Gloria ist die gute Fee , die sich um das Haus kümmert. Sehr nett und aufmerksam , hat eine prompte Lösung für jedes Problem ! Kontakt zu Gloria: am besten mit Google Übersetzer per WhatsApp. Sie spricht nur italienisch. Gloria war für uns jederzeit erreichbar und hat sehr schnell auf unsere Anfragen reagiert . Fazit Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in dem Haus in viareggio genossen ! Wenn 15 und 17 jährige Teenager unbedingt noch mal hierher wollen , dann ist das ein sehr gutes Zeichen !

Sehr gute Lage mit kurzen Wegen zum Strand, Park oder auch zum Bahnhof. Gute Anbindung mit dem Zug nach Pisa, Florenz oder La Spezia. Das Haus bietet alles für den täglichen Bedarf. Interessante Archtektur!!!!

Edificio spettacolare in posizione perfetta tra pineta e mare

Gloria è super accogliente e disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. La casa è molto particolare e spaziosa. L'impianto idraulico è un po' datato ma la posizione è magnifica immediatamente a fianco della pineta e a pochi minuti a piedi dal mare. Il soggiorno ideale per chi vuole parcheggiare la macchina e non usarla mai.

Das Haus ist sehr alte und erinnert einen an ein Geisterhaus. Die Besitzerin hat es es wohl so verlassen wie sie es bewohnt hat. Das hat Flair, man muss es aber auch mögen. Das Gebäude ist von der Architektur sehr reizvoll, man muss die vielen Treppen und Etagen aber in Kauf nehmen. Ebenso die dunkle Atmosphäre, bedingt durch die dunklen hochwertig verbauten Holzeinlagen und Wände. Der Kamin ist top, die Bäder und Schlafzimmer deutlich in die Jahre gekommen. Würde man das Haus sanieren wäre es ein Traum. Die Lage ist top, 5 Gehminuten bis zum Strand, 10 bis zur Innenstadt. Die Besitzerin sehr nett, auch wenn sie weder deutsch noch englisch spricht.

Alloggio molto confortevole e particolare. Molto pratico sia a livello di struttura dell’edificio, nonostante la presenza di numerose rampe di scale, sia per la posizione davvero ottima rispetto al mare e a diversi punti di interesse del paese. Proprietaria molto disponibile e cortese. Siamo tornati davvero soddisfatti e felici, vivamente consigliata.

La proprietaria sempre gentile e disponibile. La casa: Tutta la casa era sporca, nessuna sanificazione è stata fatta in questo periodo di covid; cucina e bagni con scarichi otturati, bagni con rubinetti e sciacquone non funzionanti, bagni senza finestre e privi di ventola aspirazione, frigorifero indecente dalla sporcizia, stoviglie della cucina unte e incrostate, letti e armadi camere da non commentare.....casa non consigliata per una vacanza.

Wir hatten nur 2 Tage in diesem tollen Anwesen. Das Haus hat mega Charme. Viele Stufen auf verschiedenen Etagen. 3 Bäder incl. Toilette, 2 mit Dusche und eines mit einer Wanne. Alles vorhanden, von Spülmaschine über Waschmaschine und Bügelmöglichkeit. Eine Flasche Wein und ein Obstkorb als welcome gift. Kurzer Weg zum Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Wir kommen wieder.

Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten mit der Buchung ,und nicht optimaler Hilfestellung durch die Agentur ( nur per Mail Chat ..telefonisch wäre vermutlich schneller und unkomplizierter gewesen) konnten wir,dank Google- translater, mit der freundlichen Vermieterin Kontakt aufnehmen. Die Hausübergabe und einweisung war entspannt, die Betten waren bezogen,Handtücher lagen bereit. Es gibt drei Bäder. In direkter Nachbarschaft ist ein Park , in dem man Fahrräder mieten kann, auf der Straße in die andere Richtung gibt es einen" Bäcker" und etwas weiter einen Lebensmittelladen.Der Strand und die Promenade mit vielen Geschäften und Lokalen ist auch schnell zu Fuß erreichbar,genauso die Einkaufsstraße und der Markt.Der " freie " Strand, dh dort muß man keine Liegen mieten , ist in Richtung Hafen mit dem Rad in gut 20 Minuten erreichbar. Da das Haus mitten in der Stadt liegt muss man mit dem entsprechenden Lärm bis ca Mitternacht rechnen.Trotzdem insgesamt eine schöne Urlaubswoche. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern wegen des fehlenden Gartens, der vielen Treppen und der im Hof stehenden Agaven , mit wirklich spitzen Dornen, eher nicht geeignet.

We had a lovely week in Viareggio and in the house. The house is charming, good size bedrooms and lots of space. Challenging for our older mother with the many levels and stairs but it worked fine. Gloria was very helpful and always replied directly. Viareggio is small, charming, clean city with a nice beach and we hope to come back again.

Wir haben einen wundervollen Urlaub im Herzen von Viareggio verlebt. Das Haus ist sehr groß und gut ausgestattet. Die Promenade und der Strand sind in wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar, die Städte Pisa, Lucca und Florenz nicht weit weg. Da das Haus über keinen eigenen Parkplatz verfügt, besteht die Möglichkeit, einen öffentlichen Parkplatz in der Umgebung für einen Pauschalpreis zu belegen. Ein Wochenticket kostet 20€. Alles war perfekt und wir kommen gerne wieder.
