The neighborhood was quiet. We felt safe. The place had all the amenities you could need. Because parking is such a hassle in New Orleans; We were in area where we could order takeout and Uber to Bourbon St. And French Quarter. Parking was provided on the property.

My stay was quick and easy. Property manager made everything accessible and welcomed open communications if I had any issues or problems. Loved the property because it was tucked away while still being close to everything. I will be using it as a staple in future travels to the area when appropriate. I actually wished I had more down time to enjoy the house more. This is perfect if you are looking for a more homey and laid back feel for the area.

My boyfriend and I loved this blue little gem. We drove to New Orleans, so getting around was easy for us, but the rental is conveniently located for Uber/lyft! We had a blast. The owner was so sweet and the home was immaculate. She even provided recommendations for eats and a bit of literature on NoLa history. Washer dryer, comfy bed, snacks, I could go on and on.. We will be back :))

The host was gracious and let us check in early due to travel times. The host was quick to respond to all our questions. The house was perfect old style well kept, comfortable relaxing. The house was minutes from the French Quarter, and the convention center. Nice quiet neighborhood in a historic place. Not far from the battle of New Orleans that was fought in the war of 1812. The place was amazing!

We have stayed here before, it is always quiet, relaxing and a great place. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants one of our favorites being Frady's fantastic food. We found a bakery called Bywater Bakery, it has the best Chantilly cake. Great placesvto visit and see the culture, here in bywater.

The property was as portrayed in the listing. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this property if you are looking for something outside of downtown New Orleans.

We stayed 9 nights, rented a car to get around, and cooked 2 meals a day. We took the ferry at Chalmette and Angiers to get to the French Quarter, museums, etc. This made driving easier. That was what was special about our stay, just how much it was about the river. The house is 100+ years old and charming. It’s in a neighborhood. Very memorable. Host took care of us immediately when we needed something.

We love visiting New Orleans and this is a wonderful home base! Comfortable bed, great shower/tub and everything needed to cook real meals. We did not need it, but there is a full size good quality futon in the front room. Park 10 steps from the door and enjoy quiet neighborhood and walks to the river path. We will definitely return.

Upon arrival it was easy to access entering the property. The property was very clean and inviting, neighborhood was very quiet at night, could sit outside on the porch enjoying your favorite beverage. The bath and bedroom were perfect size ,solid wood floors throughout the house. Owner was extremely accommodating. Had a terrific time. Easy going dive bar down the street. Perfect little gem. We will come back. Thank you Patricia for the great place to stay.

The property was amazing! I loved the feel of it. It’s in a nice neighborhood right next to the river. While we were sitting on the front porch, you could hear somebody playing jazz music down the street. It was just a short drive to the French quarter, bourbon street, Caesar’s superdome, and this cute little breakfast place Wakin Bakin. Patricia responded very quickly to my messages and was very nice and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you want to be close to the action, but not right in the middle of it.

We absolutely loved our stay in New Orleans! I’d never been there before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We had such a great experience. I was a little skeptical of the neighborhood at first, but after driving around the city I realized most neighborhoods in New Orleans are like this. You’ll have nice houses next to a run down shack, and I’m assuming it’s due to Katrina. I’m sure a lot of spots still need to be rebuilt/or fixed up. My husband fished on the river right on the other side of the flood wall. There’s a nice walking path up there. Very safe, and quiet neighborhood. Best of all was the house. It’s a true New Orleans style shotgun house. Loved the original details! The wood throughout the home was beautiful. The little old fireplaces were so cute. It was perfect for a couple. The owner was super friendly. I’m sure my husband talked her head off. Definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to stay in a true NOLA style house within a 5 minute drive to the French quarter. We had an amazing stay❤️

This home was the highlight of our entire stay. Located 10 minutes from downtown, this location was everything that we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and seated across from the Mississippi River, where we spent every single evening looking at the city and the ships. Our gracious host supplied us with more than what we needed. She even had fun sized candy and other snacks available for us. I have zero complaints and I look forward to booking this home again when we return in August. Thanks Patricia!!

Arrive by car during the day, so you can see the dog walkers, kite flyers, joggers, and picnic(ers) along the levis.

No issues. Not far from bus route to get you to where you need to go but the ride will be 30-40 mins depending on where you want to go. The jazz pass is a must if you don’t have a car. Didn’t see any grocery stores as we drove by so make sure to figure that out how far they are.

Short walk to a nice view of the River. Benches and a walkway! Short UBER ride to the French Quarter. Nice house with historical structure! Owner was nice enough to give us butter when we forgot! Thanks Trisha!!

As we drove to our rental, we were a bit skeptical of the neighborhood. But trust me when i say it was quiet, clean and safe. Never once was it anything else. The check in and check out was super easy. No long list of dos and donts. Are there little things i could point out? Of course. But who cares. It was clean, quaint and we enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend. Plenty of space and litterally everything u will need.

Very clean and quiet stay. Was worried about the reviews of the neighborhood, but the property was perfect for a quiet getaway in a quaint house. We spent most of the time hanging out inside and walking along the levee. When we did venture out to explore the city, it was a quick drive to just about anywhere. Don't let the surrounding area dissuade you from staying at this adorable house!
